Located right near Fukushima Station, this place doesn't have particularly high ratings on Tabelog, but I figured it must have something going for it to have been around for 30 years. On this day, they were having a special anniversary fair with half-price all-you-can-drink. While I could have just gone for the cheap individual beers (100 yen each), my friend doesn't drink much beer so we opted for the fair. The 120-minute fair all-you-can-drink was 490 yen. We started with Super Dry draft beer. I must have had quite a few of those today. My friend, looking bewildered, went for a sour drink. We also ordered an appetizer of Okinawan mozuku seaweed (300 yen), which unfortunately seemed to have been poorly desalted. We had to return it without even asking the staff. With a limit of two dishes per person, we struggled to find something else to order. Eventually, we settled on Goya Champuru (490 yen), frozen bitter melon which I happen to like, and Tonbi Karaage (450 yen), fried pork cartilage that was a bit too bony for my taste. We also tried the Three-color Gyoza (580 yen), which had fillings of meat, mozuku seaweed, and bitter melon. They were small and easy to eat in one bite. Despite not being able to take any leftovers home, we ended the meal with Okinawan sweet potato ice cream (450 yen) for dessert. Overall, the experience was alright, but the cold response when we asked for a takeout option left a sour taste in our mouths. The staff seemed indifferent, the restaurant was overheated, and it was the least satisfying dining experience we had in Osaka.

The all-you-can-drink option is quite a good deal, but if you drink a lot, then the 100 yen per drink option is even better. There was a rule of two dishes per person for the food, but it didn't bother me at all. I enjoyed the food. I was surprised to find out that this place is part of the Kaien-dai group! I was sad when the Kaien-dai in Naha closed, so this was a happy encounter. However, they only had barley shochu on tap, not awamori. That was disappointing. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Kan Don in Osaka Fukushima. This izakaya offers a unique lineup of Okinawan dishes and other cuisine at affordable prices. I enjoyed dishes like sea grapes salad, chicken liver, and tri-color dumplings while sipping on a rum highball. I also ordered a sashimi platter, and the total cost was around 3000 yen per person.

It was too hot, so I went out for a beer. Orion beer for 100 yen, written as a medium-sized glass, but it was far from a pint. Still, 100 yen is a great deal! They served edamame as a snack which goes well with beer. I also tried the menma. The portion size was a bit on the higher side, but the cheap menma with salt sauce was delicious and went well with the beer! Apparently, the beer tap is on the second floor, so the staff seemed really busy taking orders on the first floor (lol).

Fukushima Station north side. Enter the fortune-telling shopping street from Naniwa-suji and go straight in. "Kimo-don" is the name of the place. It's an izakaya based on Okinawan cuisine. I've been curious about this place because they offer all-time draft beer for 100 yen (laughs). I went to the second floor. Of course, they also have a shochu all-you-can-drink tap. Anyway, I ordered a draft beer! (laughs) This place is perfect for someone like me who loves draft beer. And 100 yen is so cheap. Orion beer is also 100 yen. The snacks and service were... no complaints. With draft beer at 100 yen (laughs), having a specialty really makes this place stand out as a choice for dining. I had a delicious meal. I wonder how many glasses I had (laughs). I definitely want to come back. Thank you for the meal.

Today, we visited with 2 people! Whenever I feel like eating Okinawan food, I always come here! The cost performance is really good and everything is delicious no matter what you order. The sea grapes and the hearty salad are a must-order and so delicious. Today, we also had Rafute and beef tongue, and ended up drinking 3 glasses of alcohol.笑

This is the cheapest place I've ever been to. I've been here many times before, and it's already a great place for beer lovers with 100 yen for a glass of beer (Asahi Super Dry or Orion beer). And now they even offer half-price food! In conclusion, with five people, we ate and drank to our hearts' content for only 2000 yen each. It was a 2-hour limit, but can you find a cheaper place than this? It's unbelievably cheap. I wish I could show you the receipt to prove it. I personally had seven beers, and my friends had almost the same amount. The food was also delicious, mainly Okinawan cuisine. The absolute selling point is the unbeatable affordability. Overall, I rate it 3.5. I will definitely keep coming back to this amazing and super cheap izakaya, "KimoDon." Thank you for the great meal today!

At first glance, I thought it was just a regular cheap izakaya, but when I went inside, it turned out to be an Okinawan cuisine izakaya. However, it wasn't heavily focused on Okinawan dishes. On a winter holiday, my partner and I decided to have dinner here. The beer seemed to be cheap, so we thought it would be a budget-friendly option. The entrance sign was impressive, saying "Beer invasion - 100 yen." Yes, you read that right, beer for 100 yen! We were skeptical if it was real beer or just happoshu, but the menu confirmed it was Asahi Super Dry or Orion Beer! And it wasn't just for a limited time or the first drink only, it was 100 yen all the time! Plus, it was Orion Beer! Amazing. Also, something interesting was that there was a tap at the counter where you could pour shochu. We didn't try it, but it seemed like you could make your own shochu there. How fun! The food was reasonably priced too. This place is a great find, perfect for our budget drinking parties with our frugal friends in the Fukushima area.

Today, I went to have drinks with some friendly colleagues. We decided on this last minute, so we didn't make a reservation and ended up at Chimudon. Chimudon has branches in Namba and Shinsaibashi, and their selling point is the all-you-can-drink shochu from the tap for 600 yen, as well as all draft beers for just 100 yen all day. Since I had a lot of drinking parties in September, I chose this place to save on expenses. We were seated on the second floor, but unfortunately, there was no shochu tap on the second floor. The second floor was almost full, with only one male staff member serving. He seemed a bit overwhelmed and it took a while for our initial order to be taken. When the draft beer finally arrived, the food was nowhere to be seen. We had to remind them about the food, and the appetizers came out later. The draft beer was Super Dry, quite light in taste, but perfect for those who can't handle strong alcohol like me. The Orion beer seemed popular too, maybe I should have gone for that instead. The food mainly consisted of Okinawan dishes like Fu Chanpuru, Somen Chanpuru, Rafute, Taco Rice, and Yakisoba. The flavors were a bit mild for my liking, but overall, the food was decent. As we finished our first round of food and drinks, we decided to move on to another place. The cost was around 1500 yen per person, and the value for money was good. If only the service had been better, it would have been a more satisfying experience.

The beer is a great deal at 100 yen. By adding the restaurant on LINE, you can get half off all-you-can-drink. The overall cost performance is good, with reasonably priced dishes that taste delicious. However, the staff smoking behind the counter in the kitchen affected the taste of the food for me. When I tried to address this with a part-time staff member on the floor, they did not respond to my concerns. I apologize, but due to my strong dislike of smoking, I have to give this review.
