Head to Ramen Kosumi Nakazakicho in Kita-ku, Osaka. It is located about 160m northeast from exit 2 of Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line Nakazakicho Station. This used to be the location of Typhoon Gang, so it brings back memories. The parking lot next to the shop is prepayment only, and it is more expensive for short-term use compared to the surrounding area, so be careful. There was no line outside on Sunday at 8:30 PM. The interior of the shop, with a large stockpot in the kitchen, has a layout of a straight counter with 8 seats. Self-service tissues are placed behind you. I selected the "Special Saba White Soup" for 1,050 yen at the ticket machine. The soup, with a sprinkling of mackerel and marinated oil, has a creamy texture, similar to carbonara. As soon as you slurp it, your mouth is filled with the rich flavor of mackerel enhanced by the fragrant marinated oil. It is amazing that there is no overpowering fishy or bitter taste, but rather a subtle touch. The mild and deep flavor of this thick soup seems to be based on "chicken white soup," but the fact that it is made from mackerel is mind-boggling. The sweetness and heavy oiliness are also kept moderate, which is a good point. The noodles, which are generously coated with the soup, are medium-thin straight noodles with a chewy texture. They are made with 100% Hokkaido wheat. The toppings include low-temperature cooked chashu, a natural flavored egg, white and green onions, and shredded red pepper. The chashu, with a decent thickness, is moist and tender, sticking to your cheeks. You can enjoy the meaty chewiness. This unique ramen has a solid craftsmanship behind it, making it a satisfying bowl. Thank you for the meal.

I had mixed seafood noodles, and my husband had mackerel white broth noodles. The mixed noodles were made with rare noodles that mixed well with the broth and were very delicious. The chashu pork was plentiful and tender, which I liked. The mackerel white broth noodles were rich, and my husband drank all the soup. If there was any left, I would have put rice in it.

At noon on weekdays, it's a 2-3 minute walk from Nakazakicho Station Exit 2 along the road. Purchase your meal ticket at the ticket machine inside the restaurant, then help yourself to water and take a seat. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere with a traditional feel, featuring a counter that can seat about 8 people and tissues and aprons placed behind the seats. It's mostly frequented by male customers, and after a short wait, the ramen is served. This particular ramen has a unique white soup base made from mackerel, with burnt garlic oil. The soup is thick and creamy, similar to Tenkaippin's, and while the mackerel flavor is strong at first, it becomes more subtle as you eat. Mixing in the garlic oil adds a fragrant touch and enhances the flavor. The chewy medium-thin noodles pair well with the soup, and the strong taste of the green onions adds a nice contrast. The thick, rare slices of pork shoulder are delicious when dipped in the soup. Despite being rich, the dish doesn't feel heavy, and personally, it reminded me of a mackerel version of Tenkaippin's ramen. Thank you for the meal.

The noodles were chewy and the chashu was delicious! However, it was a bit too sweet, I wish it had more soy sauce flavor or a hint of vinegar. The chashu rice bowl was average with a soy sauce flavor, I wish it had more mayonnaise. It was crowded and I had to wait in line, so I think I'm satisfied after visiting once!

This time, I went to "Ramen Kasumi"! There were only a few seats at the counter, but I was able to get in without waiting in line! I ordered the mixed seafood ramen this time! The noodles coated in the soup were very delicious! Please give it a try! Thank you for the meal!

When it comes to mixed noodles❗, this is my favorite♥ I love to enjoy the hearty seafood mixed noodles with a touch of spice and vinegar✨ Now, for the actual taste, the seafood-based soy sauce dressing coats the Taei Wing Noodles perfectly and it's incredibly delicious♥ It has a chewy texture with a great firmness and a smooth throat feel. The diced chashu is meaty and juicy, bursting with the deliciousness of meat juices. The rare chashu is thick and tender with a moist and soft texture. The sweetness and richness of the seasoned egg are also delicious♥ The different textures of white and green onions add a nice accent. As you progress through the meal, change the flavor with the spice and vinegar on the table - the addictive and delicious taste✨ Finally, add the white rice and finish eating and drinking❕ I'm stuffed❗ It was delicious - thank you for the meal

The ramen shop is famous for their maze-soba! I was curious because it had high ratings. I ordered the Special Saba White Broth and the Ajitama Seafood Maze-soba. The Special Saba White Broth had a thick, savory soup made with saba (mackerel). It paired well with the noodles and was quite filling. The Ajitama Seafood Maze-soba had a seafood broth that settled at the bottom, with noodles in a unique shape. The flavor was strong and went well with rice. The chashu was big and chunky.

I arrived about 10 minutes before the Saturday night opening. There were no people waiting in line. Three groups entered the restaurant as soon as it opened. I bought a meal ticket at the ticket machine and purchased the deluxe mixed ramen (might have a different name). It had the most toppings. The unique shaped noodles were delicious as they intertwined with the soup. I feel like I've had cup noodles with a similar shape before, so maybe they collaborated. The standout was the delicious chunks of chashu! They were soft, not dry at all, and complemented both the noodles and the soup, elevating the overall quality. I'm sure the chashu bowl here would be amazing too. The portion was quite generous, so I added vinegar and pepper for flavor variation halfway through. I enjoyed it until the last bite.

On a regular weekday night at 7:30 pm, they have a special mixed seafood ramen with no waiting time. The amount of meat in the char siu bowl is delicious, but the rare parts can be tough. The char siu bowl is unnecessary as the portion is too big. The taste doesn't match the appearance, it is subtle and lightly seasoned. If you want to eat rare char siu, it's worth a repeat visit, but I might try a different ramen next time.

Visited for lunch on a holiday. Easily got a table. Ordered the "Special Mixed Ramen" (1150 yen) for myself and the "Mackerel White Broth Ramen" (900 yen) for my companion. The mixed ramen seemed to have a lighter flavor this time. In the past, it used to be quite rich and I would add vinegar towards the end to eat it refreshing, but this time adding vinegar made it slightly bland. Still, it was delicious. I really like this type of noodles. The mackerel ramen tasted better than before, in my opinion. My companion agreed. Honestly, I didn't think much of the previous version, but this time it was tasty. It may not have changed at all. In any case, it's a ramen shop I like. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a popular local restaurant, Kachimiya, for the first time. I ordered the mixed seafood special ramen, while my wife ordered the mackerel white broth special. The soft and chunky chashu didn't quite seem to match the ramen, as I prefer chashu with a firmer texture and more cooked through. The noodles were flat, which was fine, but the sauce lacked impact and didn't have much of a seafood flavor. Adding a lot of black pepper gave it more of a kick. The mackerel white broth had a fragrant mackerel flavor that was creamy and delicious. If you enjoy mackerel, you'll find it tasty.

I had the Spicy Mackerel White Broth ramen. It was a little past 2 pm, and there was no wait, it was empty. I bought a meal ticket, sat at the designated seat, and waited for about 5 minutes. With just one sip of the soup, I was in heaven. The thick and rich soup is filled with the flavor of mackerel, without any bitterness or fishiness. The spiciness adds an edge to it. When combined with the flavor of green onions, it becomes truly artistic. The noodles are smooth and easy to eat, bringing a lot of soup with each bite. The chashu pork is perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and the fat is delicious. I alternated between eating noodles with soup, rice with noodles, and rice soaked in soup. The spiciness gradually built up, making the rice disappear quickly. Before I knew it, the bowl was empty. I returned the bowl to the counter and left the restaurant. As I walked and reminisced about the enjoyable experience, I reached Nakazakicho Station, and suddenly tasted a bit of the bitterness of mackerel in my mouth. Yes, it was definitely mackerel. It was truly a delightful experience. Thank you for the meal!

The ramen shop I went to yesterday was incredibly delicious. I was truly moved by it. So, skipping over a few details, let me introduce it to you. It's called "Ramen Kasumi" in Nakazakicho, Osaka. I went there because a person I follow, Gousan, highly recommended it. I arrived at 11:45 and there was no wait. However, people started lining up after me. I barely avoided waiting in the scorching sun. I ordered the special mackerel white broth ramen. At first glance, it looks like a rich chicken broth, but when I took a sip, I was surprised. There was mackerel swimming in the soup. The overwhelming flavor of mackerel. The black ma-yu added depth to the broth. The noodles were thick and straight, perfectly clinging to the flavorful soup. The chashu had a bit more fat in the soup and more redness on the edges. I preferred the chashu with more redness. When slurped together with the noodles, the light flavor was evident. Having three slices of chashu made me feel incredibly happy. The chashu in the soup was delicious but slightly outside my preference. The seasoned egg was just a regular one, but within this ramen, it was a luxury. No, I take that back. I'm sorry for saying regular eggs are a luxury. The combination of the yolk's richness and the soup's thickness is just perfect. I've written so much, but the truly moving point is the soup that makes you hungrier as you drink it. A soup that stimulates your appetite. I've never seen, heard, or tasted anything like it. The incredible mackerel flavor, the rich chicken broth, and the refreshing aftertaste. How can something so rich be so refreshing? I don't understand. Let me drink it again. And the cycle continues. I deeply regret not ordering rice this time. Next time, I won't forget the rice. Don't forget the rice, everyone. You must go and try it!

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while! Although the Sabashirayu piqued my interest, today I was in the mood for curry! The first thing I noticed was, isn't there a lot of meat? I ordered the Tamago Curry Mazesoba, not the special, but there was a huge amount of meat! The noodles were a bit different and seemed to mix well with the soup! There were a lot of noodles too, right? I ended up really full! Next time, I'll come back to try the Sabashirayu!

Ordered fish and seafood mixed noodles at a ramen shop near Nakazakicho, with Bakaboy and Soudaishou nearby. I arrived at 11:30, no other customers yet, lucky me. I originally planned to eat mackerel white broth, but couldn't forget the mixed noodles I had at the main store, so I ended up ordering it again... feeling a bit of regret. But as soon as the dish arrived, any regret vanished. The noodles looked amazing, thick and glossy, pulling them up revealed their beauty. Mixing them with the sauce, the fish flavor hit me, and I was once again captivated by the noodles. The chashu was meaty and satisfying, with large chunks to savor. The marinated egg added another layer of richness. The crunchy green onions added a nice texture. This place is full of hospitality. Seriously delicious. I'm glad I ended the "Hundred Famous Shops of Tenroku" quest with this place.

Visiting 100 famous shops! Just a 5-minute walk from Nakazaki-cho Station! No waiting in line when you visit ☺️ When it comes to Kasumi, you have to try the mixed noodles!! The rich seafood broth pairs perfectly with the chewy noodles ❤️ The crispy green onions and chunky chashu are also delicious! ☺️ The noodle portion is larger than regular ramen, so one bowl is very filling. Thank you for the meal!

I tried the Ajitama Seafood Mazesoba and Chashu Don at a ramen shop in Nakazaki-cho! The ramen is irresistible for seafood lovers! The noodles are unique and they mix well with the soup. There are plenty of chashu slices in it, very satisfying. The yuzu pepper on the Chashu Don is also amazing. Great value for money! Definitely a winner.

Located in the popular Hyakumeiten list, Ramen Kosumi is a ramen shop known for its unique mazesoba. I visited the Nakazakicho branch for the first time to satisfy my craving for a junky ramen experience.
【Menu】
・Special Seafood Mazesoba
・Chashu Don (small)
The menu mainly consists of ramen or mazesoba using seafood. Just like the main branch in Awaza, I chose the popular mazesoba this time. The noodles were generously topped with diced rare chashu, which is a unique feature of this place. The noodles were flat and wavy, with a chewy and elastic texture. They perfectly absorbed the rich and slightly sweet sauce. Once you start eating, you won't be able to stop – it's addictive!
The sauce, although thick in appearance, had a light and easy-to-eat flavor with a hint of sweetness and richness from the seafood. The toppings included diced chashu and regular rare chashu, as well as a half-boiled egg. The diced chashu was thick and juicy, while the regular rare chashu was also delicious. I also ordered an additional Chashu Don, which was covered with about 5 slices of the same chashu. The yuzu pepper served with the bowl added a delicious kick to the meat and rice.
If you have room in your stomach, I highly recommend trying this dish. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I ordered the menu item "Saba Shiru" for 900 yen (tax included). I arrived after 1pm and was able to enter without waiting in line due to the heavy rain. The person next to me ordered the "Curry Mazesoba," so I would like to try that next time. Thank you for the meal! Thank you, Ramen Kosumi Nakazakicho branch!

The meat ramen was so delicious that I couldn't resist (*´д`*)ハァハァ(*´д`*)ハァハァ While eating ramen, I used to think that even though it's delicious, I don't crave it as much as sushi or yakiniku. But after trying the chashu at this place, I realized that I love meat ramen and tsukemen. The curry maze soba at Koasumi was amazing! The noodles were incredible! I love meat ramen and tsukemen! I want to go back to the Nakazakicho shop, it was the best! I'm hesitating about going to Osaka in July or August, but I have Wednesdays off. I can only go in July. I really want to go to Koasumi! I'm crying just thinking about it.
