There are 20 types of cheesecakes available at this shop, using rare ingredients such as Pecorino and goat cheese. I ordered the famous Cheese Souffle (1300 yen). The souffle appeared to be quite voluminous with a diameter of about 10cm and a height of 5cm, but when I tried it, it was light. The inside was fluffy and creamy, while the outside had a crispy texture like sugar. It felt like eating a cloud. The Cheese Souffle takes 30 minutes to prepare, but it's worth the wait for this unique dish. I highly recommend trying it at least once! The interior of the shop has a fairytale-like cafe atmosphere, with modern elements like greenery, creating a mysterious space. The pasta also looks delicious, so it seems like a good place for lunch as well.

Visited the restaurant for the purpose of trying their souffle. Located in Yakuin Rokkaku, it is a very small place, so I missed it while looking at the map... As soon as I entered the restaurant, a unique smell drifted in. The interior design gave me a nostalgic feeling. Since it takes about 30 minutes for the souffle to be ready, I decided to have a meal as well. I ordered a set that came with salad, pasta, souffle, and a drink. The stylish salad and the creamy mushroom pasta with plenty of mushrooms were delicious. Finally, the souffle I was looking forward to. As it was brought to the table, a nice eggy aroma wafted in the air. When I dug in with a spoon, it made a juicy sound even before eating, which was amazing. The fluffy and creamy texture, along with the crunchy texture of the sugar, was fantastic, and the sweetness was not overpowering, so I could easily finish it even after the main course. The first bite was pure bliss. I also bought a cheesecake on my way out. With a variety of options, I feel like trying all of them.

I was looking for a cafe in the Yakuin area and found this shop. I called around 11:30 on Sunday and it seemed to be available. I didn't need to make a reservation, so I went directly. I ordered the baked souffle set. After about 30 minutes, a huge baked souffle arrived. The outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy. I thought it was a taste that you can't easily find in other shops.

Yakuin's "Petit Jour" has a nice smell of cheesecake Italian always passes by and smells good. The popular fluffy and melty souffle is great. There are about 20 kinds of cheesecakes. You can also have pasta and coffee in the store. I thought it must be tough to do everything alone. The lunch was a bit pricey, but I think it's a shop that cheese lovers would want to visit.✨.....ー◇ー◇ー◇ー◇ー

This time, I invited friends and visited the restaurant with 4 people. We ordered the souffle crepe that we couldn't try last time. The orange sauce was very delicious, but personally, I prefer the regular souffle. There was a little disappointment. We had arranged to meet up with friends at the restaurant, so we arrived a little early and wanted to reserve a table for the 4 of us later, even though it was 20 minutes later. I directly asked the owner, but he said, "We don't do that kind of thing here." I've actually visited this place about 5 times in the past week, and it seemed like there were no customers in the restaurant, so I thought he might agree. Nevertheless, the food was as delicious as ever, and my friends were also surprised by the taste.

First visit. Ordered the signature cheese souffle set from the menu. It was amazing! The taste was better than anywhere else I've tried before. It takes about 30 minutes to bake after ordering, but it's worth the wait. I also bought other cheesecakes the next day, and they were all delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a bit plain, with background music playing, but it's definitely a hidden gem. The owner seems like a skilled artisan and has been in business for over 30 years, which is understandable. Payment is cash only.

I went to "Petit Jour," a cheese cake and soufflé specialty shop in Yakuin, Chuo-ku. The shop has a stylish atmosphere with a touch of Showa era. I tried their famous soufflé, which costs 950 yen for a single piece or 1350 yen for a soufflé set with a drink. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes from ordering to baking completion. The soufflé was fluffy on the outside, creamy inside, and melted in the mouth. Although it was quite large, it had a light texture and I finished it in no time. I forgot to take a picture of the menu, but they also have reservation-only items that I would like to try next time. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Hello. I am a beauty acupuncturist, Kozue. The other day, when I went to Hakata, I visited a recommended cheesecake shop called Petite Jour. This time, I purchased the following three types of cheesecakes: Camembert cheese and black pepper, Blue Drop Lemon, and Lemon Camembert cheese. The Camembert cheese and black pepper cake has a tart crust at the bottom, followed by a cheese-flavored layer without sweetness, a firm cheese-like texture on top, and black pepper sprinkled on top. It is a unique cake that is not sweet but would go well as a snack with alcohol. It may be good for those who do not like sweet cakes. The Blue Drop Lemon cake has blueberry sauce on top, a moist cake with a cheese aroma and a hint of liquor-like scent, mixed with blueberries at the bottom. It is a moderately sweet cake that was delicious. The Lemon Camembert cheese cake has a refreshing taste with the perfect combination of lemon acidity and cheese flavor, with a subtle sweetness. I found it very delicious. All the cakes use cheese, making them irresistible for cheese lovers. There are various types of cakes available, and I would like to try the souffle cake next time. Thank you for the meal.

◆Turning a great dish into an outstanding one, the souffle cheesecake is beautifully presented in a white cocotte dish with a mushroom-shaped top that rises impressively! The texture, inflated with meringue, is literally fluffy, and when you dig in with a fork, it has a perfect combination of softness and chewiness with an elegant sweetness infused with the flavor of cheese. It takes about 30 minutes to prepare because it is made fresh, but it truly lives up to its reputation as a signature dish, a delicious souffle indeed.
◆Menu for this visit: Souffle Set (lunch) for 1350 yen per person
◆How to enjoy this restaurant:

After enjoying a Japanese lunch, we headed to this place for dessert time. My girlfriend always plans the second location for us, which makes me happy. I've seen photos of souffle online before, but I was surprised to find out the location of this place. It's on a road I often pass by when visiting my favorite shop, but I never noticed it before. The variety of cheesecakes here is impressive. It must be hard work to make so many different kinds. While cheesecakes are tempting, our goal was the "souffle." We both ordered the "Souffle Set" which comes with a drink (1350 yen including tax). The drinks arrived first - my girlfriend had tea, and I had coffee. The coffee was strong and bitter, not really to my liking. I think a lighter drink like tea would go better with the souffle. While I sipped my coffee, I could hear the sound of beating meringue, which got me excited. It takes a bit of time for the souffle to be ready (about 30 minutes), but when it arrived, it looked delicious with a nice golden color. It was exactly what I wanted to try. The souffle deflated quickly, so we dug in right away. The inside was fluffy meringue with a smooth texture. It was sweeter than I expected, but I was satisfied to finally try the souffle. It was another enjoyable day of chatting with my girlfriend.

If you go a little further towards Yakuin from Yakuin Rokkaku, you'll find it. I always wonder why they made this road like this, you can't easily go in the direction you want... After having lunch with M, I went to have dessert. The shop has been around for almost 30 years, so I had seen their souffle in various places but finally got to go there. There are various cheesecakes in the showcase made with blue cheese. They look delicious, but I stuck to my original plan. I ordered the Souffle Set for 1350 yen, where you can enjoy it freshly baked. While waiting for it to bake, we chatted. The souffle that arrived was fluffy and trembling. I quickly ate it before it shrank. It melts in your mouth and is warm and delicious. However, there were some parts where the sugar didn't dissolve, and the texture was not good, and that part was too sweet. I wonder if it was just a coincidence? You could choose between coffee or tea for the drink. I chose tea. The staff isn't very friendly. I'm curious about the unusual cheesecake. Thank you for the meal.

Located a little off the main street from Yakuin Rokkaku, this shop is famous for its souffle and has been around for a long time. The shop has a cute design with blue and white as its main colors, but it is run by a rather rough-looking owner. I purchased the "Blue Cheese Cheesecake" and the "Maple Souffle" for takeout. While the freshly baked souffle that takes 30 minutes to order is popular for dine-in, they also offer a variety of cakes and souffles for takeout, including some unique options. The "Blue Cheese Cheesecake" has a strong blue cheese aroma at first, followed by the sweetness of the cheesecake. The cheesecake itself has a slightly crumbly texture, but I didn't find it too heavy. The distinct flavors of blue cheese and cheesecake are enjoyed with a time lag, making it an impressive dish. The "Maple Souffle" has a light texture and pairs well with the subtle sweetness of maple. I would like to try other delicate cakes and souffles made by the rather rough owner. Thank you for the delicious meal! ♡

A unique cheesecake made with blue cheese. Salty and likely to pair well with wine. The cheesecake is firm and crumbles in your mouth. It is not very moist.
