This is a review of a shop selling shrimp senbei in the station building "Granduo Kamata Nishikan" in the local area of Kamata. Shrimp senbei is a popular snack, and this shop is from Aichi Prefecture, where 95% of the national production is located. Similar to the famous Yukari brand, this shop was established in 1866, making it older than Yukari. I decided to try their traditional flavor "grilled" shrimp senbei, which is known for its rich shrimp aroma. Each piece is individually wrapped, and the moment you open it, the strong smell of shrimp hits you. The flavor is intense and delicious, with no overpowering shrimp taste. I regret not trying this sooner, and I plan to buy it again in the future.

Kaishin-do is famous for their shrimp senbei (rice crackers). I visited their newly renovated store recently. It's amazing how they turn whole shrimp into senbei. I remember seeing octopus senbei being made the same way, maybe it was in Enoshima. Those were delicious too! This time, I bought some as a souvenir. Let's see, the one that caught my eye was the "Shrimp Feast" senbei. I'm sorry, I only have a screenshot, not the actual product. Senbei is light and easy to carry, which is great for gifts. I also tried some samples they offered. The shrimp almond and the crispy shrimp cheese were delicious! The crispy shrimp cheese especially goes well with sake (laughs). The staff were friendly and I had a good impression. I will definitely go back to buy more.
