The bakery inside Lloyd's World was popular and there was a line. Since it's bread, it's probably for breakfast the next morning. I tried one for myself. Well, it was bread. Maybe it's good for conversation.

The cost performance is amazing. Whenever I go to New Chitose Airport, I always want to buy these canelés. Even though the expiration date is today, they are incredibly delicious and cheap. They are not in the 100 yen range. The outside has a crispy texture, while the inside is moist and full of rum flavor. If I were closer, I would want to eat them every day.

New Chitose Airport. I came to buy Royce's bread "Gute" that I've been curious about for a while. It's a bread with a whole Royce chocolate bar inside, quite impactful. I lined up and got the Gute, but then I saw Royce's most popular bread, the chocolate croissant. And guess what! It's a chocolate croissant with pineapple-scented chocolate cream inside. I recently realized that I seem to like pineapple flavor. Whether it's sour, snacks, or bread, if it says "pineapple" I tend to buy it. So, I ended up not getting the Gute and bought the "Chocolate Croissant Pineapple" (270 yen) instead. It wasn't crispy like a croissant, but rather soft and moist. The chocolate cream with pineapple scent was delicious! However, if asked if I would buy it again, I'm a bit undecided. Next time, I definitely want to buy the Gute! Thank you, R Bakery.

In Hokkaido, there is a popular chocolate brand called Royce's, which operates a bakery that sells bread using Royce's chocolate. However, the stores selling these breads are limited, and you cannot purchase them near Sapporo Station. A convenient location for tourists to visit is Royce's World at New Chitose Airport. The Royce's Bakery is located on the third floor of Royce's World, which includes a chocolate factory, chocolate-related exhibits, and a shop with exclusive products. Although I visited when they were not making chocolate, you could see the process through the glass. They also had cute chocolates on display. Right next to it, they sell the products. The main attraction is the bakery corner. They offer bread using Royce's chocolate as well as savory bread. What's great is that the bread is very affordable. Even though the prices are already low, using Royce's chocolate makes it feel even more inexpensive. Most items are priced in the 200-300 yen range with good portions. I was curious to try the chocolate bar sandwiched bread, but I was worried it might melt, so I didn't. All the breads use plenty of chocolate. Each bread is individually wrapped in plastic bags, making it easy for travelers to buy without using tongs. I bought a melon bread and a chocolate croissant on my way there. The melon bread had a generous amount of chocolate cream inside. It tasted sweet, probably using milk chocolate. For the trip back, I bought some as souvenirs. Since the bread is soft, I was worried about it getting squished. I had them put it in a croissant box (50 yen) and safely brought it back to Tokyo. Chocolate Frantz - 178 yen Chocolate Melon Bread - 200 yen Chocolate Pie - 216 yen Let's make it a treat when visiting Hokkaido. Thank you for the meal.

New Chitose Airport has everything! They have a wide variety of gourmet foods representing Hokkaido. You can even buy Royce's chocolate bread here! I bought three of them. My favorite is the chocolate tart with a creamy chocolate filling and a berry sauce that gives it a sweet and tangy flavor. It reminded me of Demel's Sachertorte. The chocolate Genji pie was also delicious with its crispy texture.

Before leaving Hokkaido, I did some last-minute shopping at Chitose Airport. I used a travel support coupon to purchase the classic Royce sweets from Hokkaido. They had a variety of Royce chocolates and sweets, but I ended up buying the Milk Chocolate and Creamy Milk Chocolate.

Purchased as a souvenir for my wife at New Chitose Airport. I knew ROYCE as a chocolate maker, but I didn't know they also made bread! They mainly use chocolate in their bread, but they also have savory options. I bought the following items:
- Chocolate Pie
- Pain au Chocolat
- Chocolate Croissant
- English Muffin (Potato Bacon)
The Chocolate Pie has chocolate cream inside and a hard chocolate topping. The Pain au Chocolat has chocolate sticks in chocolate dough. The Chocolate Croissant has custard chocolate cream inside. The English Muffin (Potato Bacon) has bacon inside and is light. All of them have the right amount of sweetness from ROYCE chocolate, making them enjoyable to eat. Some items are trendy, but overall, there are no disappointments. Thank you for the meal.

I went shopping at the airport during my trip to Hokkaido. I was debating whether to wait in line for the popular bread or to buy some here on the 3rd floor. I decided not to waste time waiting in line and bought several types of bread here instead! They are from a chocolate specialty bakery and are delicious! Whether it's the croissant, pain au chocolat, chocolate melon bread, or canelé, they are all tasty! I recommend the chocolate croissant and canelé! How about some chocolate bread from the chocolate shop as a souvenir?

At the airport on my way back, I discovered a chocolate-filled bread that looked delicious, so I bought it to take home. The bread with a piece of chocolate inside tasted like Royce, and it was really satisfying with the abundance of chocolate. It felt like eating a dessert, and I was very happy with it.

Distribution came suddenly, without any warning. Today, there was no notice and it just appeared on my desk. Along with the familiar Royce, there was another one from a confectionery shop in Enkyo. I won't write about the confectionery revisit, but that's a lie. I'll try it before I forget. The bag is easy to open with a groove, but it's difficult to open it all the way down. It seems kind but not really. However, there are many confectioneries like that. It's a cookie with a slight saltiness and chocolate coating, with a hint of buttery flavor. The taste of butter is not a problem at all. Oh, it's delicious. I'm tempted to open the next one. It's a crispy, small confectionery. It's all about the balance between the cookie and chocolate. Just because it's a chocolate shop doesn't mean they have a bias towards chocolate. They strive to be fair for the people who eat it. That's the strong feeling when making this confectionery. I don't know about that.

New Chitose Airport Terminal Building 3F Royce Chocolate World bakery section! It seems like winter is the best time to bring back chocolate items. The Royce floor is spacious, but only one register was open, handling both chocolate and bread items. I bought 2 Iced Chocolates and a Chocolate Pie Row, which is their most popular item. The bread had a strong chocolate flavor. My daughter prefers simple croissants, so she wasn't a fan. My son thought it was decently tasty. Personally, I thought it was just average. Once you try the bread, you're satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

New Chitose Airport, Gourmet Area 3F, where famous ramen shops from Hokkaido line up on the Ramen Street. Even though I already had dinner earlier, I resisted the temptation of rich soup and headed towards the Smile Road. It's dessert time at Royce Chocolate Factory on the colorful wallpapered shop with a variety of boxes filled with all chocolate sweets. I'm excited to be in the sweet world of Royce. However, my purpose this time is not the colorful boxes. Next to the chocolate shop is Royce's bakery. The showcase is filled with chocolate treats like chocolate melon pan, chocolate cornet, chocolate croissant... The world of chocolate may seem dull with its brown color, but I don't mind at all. The sweet scent of chocolate mixed with the savory aroma of bread. Royce Bakery is only available at limited locations like New Chitose Airport. With 30 minutes until boarding time, I rushed here and it was worth it. Plus, during this time, the bread is 50% off...! It's kind of amazing that Royce is having a sale. It's kind to the earth and my wallet. I managed to calm my desire to buy all the remaining varieties (I can't eat that much), and I grabbed "Gute" and "Aure" with tongs. The next day, I had Gute. It's impressive. The chocolate is, of course, Royce's taste, so it's delicious. The bread has a perfect balance. A soft, gentle brioche with a whole piece of chocolate sandwiched inside, subtly but firmly supporting it. You can't achieve this with Royce chocolate and supermarket bread, I think. Next, Aure. It's round because it's filled with plenty of ganache inside. The crispy texture gives way to a smooth ganache overflowing. Plenty of it. The ganache is generously packed. Unlike Gute, which playfully enjoys the texture of the chocolate, Aure offers a smooth chocolate experience for adults. Both are delicious because, after all, chocolate is the star. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

JR Hokkaido's New Chitose Airport Station is located on the 3rd floor of the New Chitose Airport Terminal Building. The 3rd floor of the New Chitose Airport Terminal Building is an area with various dining options. Towards the back, there is a space called ROYCE' chocolate world, which is an antenna shop dedicated to ROYCE', a chocolate maker from Hokkaido. They also sell bread in addition to chocolates. Since it was still early in the morning, the variety of products was limited. There were only three types available. The "Choco Frente" was priced at 173 yen. It's not too expensive considering it's in an airport building. But what is "Frente"? Maybe it's French spoken in Italian? Oh well, never mind. It's a thick triangle-cut slice of bread (crust cut off) covered in chocolate. The bread itself seems to have chocolate kneaded into the dough and baked. When you bake dough with chocolate in it, it tends to burn easily. But this one wasn't burnt. It's just covered in chocolate. Very sweet. It's too big for one person to finish. The chocolate itself didn't seem too high-end, just very sweet chocolate.

Located on the 3rd floor of New Chitose Airport, this bakery is famous for its chocolates and also offers a variety of other breads. I visited in the early afternoon on a weekday in early October. I purchased the "Shimeji and Maitake Mushroom Calzone," which was a seasonal item. The cheese and mushrooms paired well together and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I came to the Starbucks at the airport, so I bought some pastries next door. I found out about them from a post by Macchan Kanchan. Guute - 357 yen. The taste has improved. It has a big impact, but the dough was a bit dry, probably because it's wrapped in plastic. Chocolate croissant - 270 yen. This is the most popular and delicious. The dough is moist and it has chocolate cream inside. Cookie - 152 yen. It's heavy and sweet with a rich buttery taste. The balance is good with the acidity of the haskap berry. It's delicious, but other than the cookie, it's quite expensive. Thank you for the meal.

I feel like there are fewer things here. There's no chocolate or bread that I want to buy at all. There are no airport exclusive products either... Is it because they're so popular that they're sold out? It's been 3 years since I last played at the airport, I have to buy Royce's~ There's no chocolate, so I bought bread. Perfect breakfast for tomorrow!

Royce Chocolate operates a bakery that can be enjoyed at Chitose Airport. Moreover, Royce-operated bakeries are limited to Hokkaido. It is located in a corner of Royce Chocolate World on the 3rd floor of the airport's Gourmet World. Like a regular bakery, you can choose your items with tongs and then pay at the end. The most popular item is the Chocolate Croissant [Aure] for 270 yen. It has a crispy texture with creamy chocolate inside. The second most popular item is the Gute for 357 yen. It is a bread with a striking impact, sandwiching Royce chocolate. To be honest, it is too heavy for breakfast. The third most popular item is the Chocolate Melon Pan for 200 yen. The dough is also chocolate, with chocolate cream inside. There are also other items such as canelé and chocolate pie. This shop, which is a chocolate lover's dream, offers an impressive and eye-catching Gute that is perfect for souvenirs.
