I visited a newly opened sake shop in December called "Nihonshu-ten" that specializes in Japanese sake. The exterior and interior have a stylish vibe, different from traditional sake shops, making it welcoming for women. The main focus of this shop is selling Japanese sake, all of which are junmai-shu. You can tell the owner's dedication from the selection of sake. The owner, knowledgeable about sake, can teach you many things when asked. It's also nice that you can try almost all sake from sake breweries in Osaka. Despite being small-scale, you can enjoy sake from breweries that produce delicious sake. Standing drinking seems to be positioned as a way to try sake before buying. They serve 45ml or 90ml in a wine glass, which enhances the aroma, making it a good way to enjoy sake. I enjoyed all the sake. The snacks, although limited, are carefully selected to pair well with sake. It's a great place to casually stop by, have a few drinks, and buy your favorite sake to take home.

Stylish sake specialty store. This was my first time visiting, and wow, they have a great selection of sake. Much better than department stores. You can even try samples in the store, and you can also enjoy standing and drinking. They offered a tasting set of 3 kinds for 720 yen (tax included), with a small dish as a sake pairing. They had a special event featuring sake from a brewery in Hyougo Prefecture, with the brewery president personally serving customers in the kitchen. Limited set for 720 yen (tax included) included Junmai Ginjo, nama (fresh) sake, and summer sake. Popular set for 720 yen (tax included) included Junmai Ginjo, dry nama sake, special Junmai, and nama sake. Among the drinks, the one with a sweet taste was my favorite. It was recommended to drink it straight or mix with soda or lemon. It was the best for me, as I like sweet sake. It was a bit disappointing that you couldn't freely choose the contents of the tasting set, but it was fun like an event. Thank you for the delicious sake. It was a treat. Side note 1: Personally, I love a similar type of store in Takamatsu and have visited it many times. Side note 2: I was surprised to find a similar store in Osaka. Well, Osaka is big, so of course there would be one if you look for it!

The shop seemed to have many regular customers. It was my first time there, so I ordered a tasting set. Unfortunately, the options on the left side of the menu were sold out because I arrived late. The sake on the right side was all delicious, especially the one at the bottom, which had a unique taste that I still wanted to drink more of!

Asano Nihonshu-ten is the place to go if you want to enjoy some sake and get a little tipsy during the day. They had a sake tasting event with three selected sakes for only 800 yen until 4:00 PM, which is a great deal for sake lovers. The overall impression was that the sakes were fruity and enjoyable. The second sake I tried was Katano Sakura Junmai Ginjo "Kaze no Kaori" from Katano, which was refreshing and crisp with a hint of alcohol. The third sake, Ichihongi Junmai-shu, had a strong aroma and a bold taste, perfect for those who appreciate traditional sake. Despite having a few drinks and ordering some food, the total bill for two people was around 4000 yen, which is quite affordable. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal! P/S: I had enough points to try the sake gacha for the first time, and I got a premium sake as a gift, which got me really excited! I thought I might have drunk from paper cups, but maybe next time!笑

Tasting lunch for 800 yen. Two servings of Japanese sake (45ml each) for 800 yen. Japanese sake ice cream "Tayu" for 440 yen. House sake for 350 yen. I don't remember much, so this is just a draft. The scent of Tosa's Natsuginjo is nice. It has a melon or pear-like flavor, which I like in Japanese sake. I felt a bit of a sharpness, but after trying others, I couldn't tell anymore. It seems to have amino acids in it. I like the aroma of this one too. It lingers on the tongue and has a slightly stimulating taste. It has a taste similar to mirin or Shaoxing wine, even though I haven't tried those. It uses the Kochi yeast CEL24. The aroma and taste are sweet, reminiscent of pineapples. Spring deer Tosa Rei has a similar aroma, with amino acids. The taste is light, but it clings to the tongue. Tayu's ice cream doesn't really have a sake taste. The aftertaste is light, but there's something about it. Koshino Sakura Theory, I can't really tell the scent. It's light and not too distinctive. There's a bit of bitterness at the end. Azumino, I like the scent. It might be melon or pear-like. I can taste a bit of sharpness.

There is a sake select shop visible from the bus street that always seems busy. I've been wanting to go there for a while now! Finally made it there after a few years. My partner was looking for a sake they missed out on buying in Yamaguchi Prefecture... and we found it! We were quickly approached by a staff member who showed us a Junmai Daiginjo sake with a hand towel included. It was a bit pricey, but we decided to buy it anyway. They also let us try other sake that caught our interest. After a little tasting, we decided to drink in the store's eat-in area. I ordered a sake cheesecake, but unfortunately, they were out for the day. We then tried Senkei Junmai Daiginjo from Hyogo Prefecture, which was crisp and dry like white wine. My partner opted for Premium Daishichi Namazake Junmai Daiginjo from Minowa Mon in Fukushima Prefecture, which was quite expensive. I tried a bit of it and thought the Senkei was more to my liking. It's all about the atmosphere and personal preference! We also had cream cheese with sake lees as a side, which was delicious. We ended up buying a bottle of sake lees as well. The 90ml servings were quickly finished, but with the prices being somewhat high, we couldn't drink too quickly. Despite that, a few regulars were enjoying their sake generously. It seemed like a lively place, but I still prefer the atmosphere of a traditional red lantern izakaya. One visit here is enough for me.

I arrived at the restaurant at 13:35 on a regular day, with about half of the counter seats already taken. Some people left while I was there, but then three more parties came in, as well as some customers buying sake. The staff seemed quite busy handling everything with just one or two people working. The regular price for a drink was 920 yen, but there was a special set for 1500 yen which included a rare sake called MUSUHI, a junmai daiginjo from Yamaguchi Prefecture. After that, I tried the house sake, Nana Koma, as well as two other types of sake, Itowokashi and Toyono Ume, both junmai ginjo. The food, like the octopus with wasabi and ham, was delicious, although the ham was a bit dry. I also bought two bottles of Koshin sake before leaving. I spent about 40 minutes there and had a great meal. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I used it for a daytime drink♪ The snacks and variety of sake are excellent! The three sake tasting set is reasonable and I thought it was great. The staff's service was also very good and I was satisfied! It's recommended to make a reservation because it's crowded even during the day!

After passing through the Higashi-dori shopping street and reaching Taiyoshi Temple, there was only this shop. Today, I ordered a set of Hagi no Tsuyu for tasting, 30ml x 3 cups for 720 yen, with simmered nail fish included. Since it's a hassle to call multiple times, I also ordered the Iburi Gakko potato salad for 350 yen. It's a one-man operation today, with only one guest (myself), so standing and drinking like this is fine during peak hours. Later on, it became a two-man operation. Sensuke Junmai Daiginjo sake, with 33% polishing ratio, is clean, powerful, and delicious - worth the slightly higher price. I purchased a 4-gou bottle on my way out, but couldn't decide which one. The staff kindly offered me a taste to help me choose. I look forward to enjoying it at home. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Asano Nihonshu Hotel. The interior is beautiful and even though it's a standing bar, it's still lively with customers of all ages and genders. The weekly changing theme of Japanese sake keeps things interesting. It's vibrant! Last time, they didn't have cheesecake in stock, so I left feeling a bit disappointed, but I'm back for a year-end revenge \(•ㅂ•)/ I must be a strange woman going to a sake shop to eat cheesecake. Haha. My recent favorite fermented food is the salted salmon koji, marinated mackerel, and grilled cheesecake with shichihonyari. I'm biased towards fermented foods because I love them. The Hyogo Ichiken (dry), Ichinogi (dry), and Fukushima sake tasting set for 390 yen per glass was the best. My companion and I enjoyed the three-sake comparison set with a side dish for 720 yen. Great deal. The grilled cheesecake was surprisingly delicious without a strong sake flavor, so it was a bit underwhelming. Even kids could eat it. The marinated mackerel here is better than at a mackerel specialty shop. I want to take some home! It's so tasty. The fatty richness is amazing. So delicious. I had a great time once again. It was a quick visit to a standing bar for our second stop, so it was easy. The bill for the two of us came to just over 4000 yen.

I visited the restaurant at 12:40. I tried 3 types of sake and had lunch for 720 yen at Sensuke which was delicious. The staff today was very precise in measuring the sake, shaking the bottle up and down, and pouring it at the end. The set snack was simmered nailfish. I had a 90ml glass of Harima Ikken junmai nama genshu for 550 yen, which had a strong magic aroma. The counter with 8 seats was almost full, with 6 people. The place is popular, and they now have 3 staff members instead of 2. They have a stamp card where you can get a free 45ml sake after drinking 3 times. The potato salad with Iburi Gakko is a must-have and delicious. The total cost for the meal was 1620 yen, and I also bought a bottle of Akikotora junmai for 1510 yen as a souvenir. It was a delicious meal. Thank you.

Visited at 13:40, this is the fourth place I visited today, and I found the perfect shop nestled between the buildings. There were three customers already there, and unexpectedly the counter was full shortly after. I had to wait for a bit, but eventually got a seat at the counter. I ordered the Okura tasting sake set which is a great deal for 720 yen on weekdays, and it came with a small dish of sliced herring. The potato salad with smoked herring was a must-try for 350 yen, and I also tried a 90ml glass of Hanatomoe sake for 550 yen. I purchased a bottle of Ooshiba Junmai Namazake Kan Oroshi for 1620 yen as a souvenir, totaling 3240 yen. It was another delicious meal today. Thank you very much.

Specializing in sake served in square bottles, with a tasting bar (standing) attached. They seem to offer tasting sets for comparison on a weekly basis. This week featured "Okura" from Nara, a brand I had been wanting to try. The flavors are completely different. It's so enjoyable! The staff were attentive in refilling my water, which was much appreciated as I like the taste of sake but am not a heavy drinker. I need to visit again soon.

Sake set for 720 yen (limited edition), Muneharu 90ml hot sake for 550 yen, Sake appetizer platter for 720 yen, Bonito tataki for 480 yen. It is a standing bar with a great atmosphere, and the owner came to greet us! The sake and appetizers were delicious, and I definitely want to go back.

I watched on YouTube and visited a trendy standing bar in Osaka where you can enjoy sake that matches the times. I had fun trying out different types of sake, but they were not unique enough to make me want to go out of my way to visit again.

Asano Sake Bar has been serving delicious sake recently, and Asano-san is always there to lift up my vibes. The sign outside was promoting Takanoi Sake Brewery from Niigata today, so I decided to go in. The tasting sets for today were Iono and Takanoi. I usually prefer dry sake, but since they were promoting Takanoi, I chose the Takanoi set. The varieties included Tanomo Junmai Ginjo, Koshino Hatsuba Snow Aged Junmai Ginjo, Tanomo Yamahai Junmai Ginjo Hiyaoroshi, and a side dish of sautéed mountain vegetables. I also ordered a bottle of Koshi Daiginjo and Iburi Gakko. The total bill was surprisingly cheap at 1400 yen. The taste impressions were as follows: Tanomo Junmai Ginjo had a soft mouthfeel with a balance of sweetness, spiciness, and bitterness. Koshino Hatsuba was fruity, sweet, and smooth with a hint of spiciness. Tanomo Yamahai had a bit of bitterness, less spiciness, and a strong sweetness. The sautéed mountain vegetables were a light and refreshing side dish. Koshi Daiginjo had a refreshing and crisp taste with a strong alcohol presence and richness. It was not as spicy as expected. Iburi Gakko had a great aroma and was a reliable side dish. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

I visited at 13:37 and there was space for one more person. It's a standing bar, so you don't need to stay long. I chose the special drink comparison set from Koshi (Shiga), which is only 720 yen during the day. After 18:00, it's 940 yen. They serve simmered clams as well. The displayed sake bottles are put away carefully. It needs to be refrigerated. Regular customers were offered a tasting service, which was very kind. The Iburi Gakko potato salad is a must-try. I had a set of three different sakes (90ml each) for 550 yen. I also bought a 4-bottle set of Ninja sake (from Shiga) as a souvenir on my way out. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Great Snow Valley (Nagano) Summer Light 550 yen. A slightly acidic and clean sake, easy to drink. The Iburi Gakko potato salad is a must-try with the sake. The smoked mackerel was also delicious. There were elderly customers, perhaps regulars. The atmosphere is welcoming and suitable for all ages. The Kubota sake tasting set for 1,000 yen on weekdays is a good deal, and the regular Daiginjo is tastier than the Yukimine or Manju. Thank you for the meal.

Counter, bar style, standing drinking, Ayu Masamune Tokujun 90ml 550 yen. It's very Niigata-like, but the taste is quite unique. Daizou Yamahai 90ml 500 yen. It's dry and delicious. Iburi Gakko Potatoes Salad 330 yen. The small portion is just right, with a nice smoky flavor. Visiting this place in the middle of exploring a few places is a good idea. They also sell 4-bottle sets, which is a nice feature. I bought one as a souvenir. The clean interior, the selection of sake without relying on major brands, and the enthusiastic staff made the experience enjoyable.

I was taken to a shop where I could enjoy various types of sake! The shop had a space for shopping and a standing bar area where you could enjoy sake. The staff were polite and explained the characteristics of sake, making it a place where you can enjoy even if you go alone. As a sake beginner, I had a great time in this enjoyable space! Thank you very much!

A clean and tidy standing bar that I sometimes visit, but sometimes it's full and I can't get in. It's a standing bar where you can bring a girl, not just old men. They have good sake and good snacks. It's not an izakaya, which is nice. It's good to just hang out for about an hour. I wonder how many places I've been to today, the two girls at the table next to mine were quite drunk. It feels a bit different, but it's okay at this place. They also sell recommended bottles inside the bar. The regular customer next to me is chatting with the staff. I'm not a regular, so I listen to their conversation with a hint of envy. Well, it's okay. As long as I can drink at my own pace.

Located between Umeda and Ogimachi, this shop allows you to stand and drink inside, as well as make purchases. The concept of the shop is to offer tasting opportunities, but they also have a wide variety of products available for purchase. You can leisurely enjoy your drink inside the shop. Most importantly, they have a rich selection of sake, making it a must-visit for sake enthusiasts.
