The whiskey was Kirin's Ocean Lucky, a cheap but popular choice. The sweet nikujaga and cheap Ocean Lucky surprisingly went well together. The plum konjac was a nice palate cleanser. I must say, I made good choices. The sweet nikujaga was a bit too sweet, so I ordered a refill with shochu. It was great. The sweet flavor paired well with the beef and the shochu on the rocks. I would love to come back if I have the time. The value set menu caught my eye.
