It has a significant dried sardine taste, which I personally really liked!! When it comes to soy sauce ramen, I prefer ones where I can really taste the dried sardines, haha. ●●Noodles●● The noodles are thin with a wavy texture. These noodles are so delicious!!! They have a chewy texture while also allowing you to taste the wheat flavor! They are similar to the noodles you would find in sardine ramen in the Kanto region. When I looked it up, it was indeed made by Mikawaya Noodle Company, haha. I really like Mikawaya's noodles, as expected, haha. ●●Chashu●● The chashu is also delicious! You can taste the richness of the meat, making it worth getting extra chashu! The flavored egg was also really tasty. ●●Overall Impression●● Personally, this was a Chinese soba that I really enjoyed! When I entered the shop, a nice scent of dried fish broth drifted in the air. It was my first time there, so I ordered the soy sauce ramen. It had a classic taste of Chinese ramen, with thin but firm noodles that were seriously delicious. The soup was so good that I wanted to take it home in a thermos! Next time, I want to try the oil ramen that the person next to me was eating, as it looked really tasty.

The address is 7-6-15 Karata, Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka City, a 3-minute walk from Abiko Station on the Osaka Metro. I arrived at the shop before 2 p.m. Closed on Mondays, business hours are 11:30-14:30 and 18:00-23:00. No waiting outside. I entered the shop, got permission for photos, and used the ticket machine. They offer three types of ramen: soy sauce, salt, and sesame, as well as tsukemen and a special option. I ordered the special soy sauce ramen and the limited rice dish. I paid 1,350 yen in total. The soup was made with 4 types of dried sardines and Tanba Jidori chicken, creating a rich flavor. The noodles were thin and firm, with a nice wheat flavor. The special toppings included pork loin chashu, menma, nori, and chopped green onions. The pork chashu was delicious with a good texture. The rice dish was cooked with chashu and ramen soup, complementing the ramen perfectly. After finishing the noodles, I enjoyed the remaining soup and toppings like ochazuke. This time, I chose the salt ramen and the RED oil ramen. I was asked which one I wanted first, and I chose the salt ramen. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice, with jazz music playing. The owner, the owner's wife, and a female staff member were running the place. The salt ramen was served quickly. The soup was made with various ingredients such as animal bones, dried fish, and aromatic vegetables, giving it a rich flavor with the umami taste of dried fish and kelp coming through. The salt seasoning was well-balanced without any strange edges, tightening the overall flavor and allowing the broth's umami to shine through. The soup was overall well-behaved. The noodles were straight and thin, cooked firm with a chewy texture and a good wheat flavor. The seasoned pork had a strong flavor, and the bamboo shoots had a unique taste with a crunchy texture and sweetness. It was very easy to eat, but I found it a bit lacking in flavor overall. Next, the RED oil ramen was served. It was red... I was worried it would be extremely spicy, but it wasn't as spicy as it looked! The soy sauce-based sauce was rich in umami from dried fish and had a strong garlic flavor, which I really enjoyed! My second son and I visited this place together. On this day, the ticket machine was flashing with three options: "soy sauce ramen," "salt ramen," and "abura soba." It was my first visit and I was a bit confused, but it seemed like they also had cold noodles on the menu. The next customer after us asked, "Do you have cold noodles?" and when the staff said they didn't, they left without ordering anything, which made me curious if the cold noodles were delicious. Also, there was no sesame-flavored dish available. Today, my second son and I both had the "special soy sauce ramen," which had everything included: 2 sheets of seaweed, chashu, soft-boiled egg, and menma. Personally, I found the chashu to be not too fatty, more like chicken meat in texture, and the menma had a rich flavor. The staff seemed like skilled craftsmen. It was delicious home-style ramen.

It has been selected as one of the top 100 ramen shops on Tabelog. On Sunday nights, there may be a short wait. The clientele tends to be on the younger side. The interior only has counter seats and operates on a ticket system. The tsukemen with boiled egg costs 1100 yen and comes with two slices of char siu, crunchy thin-sliced menma, and seaweed. The slightly chewy medium-thick noodles have a glossy appearance and a chewy texture. The balanced fish flavor and acidity of the dipping soup are excellent. When you dip the noodles in the soup, the texture is outstanding. Lastly, the refined finishing soup with a dashi flavor is exquisite. Operating hours are 11:30-14:30 and 18:00-22:45 (last order). Closed on Mondays. Cash payment and ticket system. No parking available, but there are many coin parking lots nearby.

For anyone who loves ramen in Kansai, there is a famous restaurant that I had never visited before. It felt like buying the first volume of a popular comic when visiting for the first time after so many years since it opened. I entered the restaurant close to closing time at around 2:25 PM, and it was almost full. The interior had a seasoned look despite being open for about 10 years. I ordered the Shoyu Chuka Soba for 900 yen. The soup was a clear shoyu broth made with soy sauce, kelp, and dried bonito, resulting in a refined and flavorful ramen. It was a high-quality bowl. Before finishing my meal, a huge downpour started, and there was a warning issued. Despite everyone having umbrellas, they hesitated to leave. Since it was past closing time, including myself, we left the restaurant fully drenched, prepared for the rain. If I were the owner, I wouldn't have the luxury to say, "Please, take your time until the rain calms down!" Thank you for the meal!

Visited on Friday at 7:45 PM. The place was full when I arrived. It took 10 minutes to be served. The soup was decent. However, the chashu was a bit disappointing. The noodles were okay. They didn't seem to match the soup perfectly, but it was not bad either.

I visited the restaurant on a regular night and ordered the oil noodles. When you order the oil noodles, you also get a set with "finishing rice". In the bowl, on top of the noodles, there are sliced ​​chashu, menma, white leeks, green leeks, nori, minced meat, raw egg, all mixed together generously with the sauce accumulated at the bottom of the bowl! I ordered the menu ☆ Tsukemen for 950 yen (including tax). The noodles are from Tokyo, made by Mikawa-ya Seimen. The soup is made with Tanba Jidori chicken, Kagoshima pork, and four types of dried fish from different regions. It also contains Hokkaido-produced Ma Konbu and Rausu Konbu. I finally got to visit a restaurant I've been wanting to go to for a while. Despite having many options, I decided to try their most popular special soy sauce ramen (with a beer). The moment I took a bite... it was delicious! It may look like a typical soy sauce ramen, but it had a nostalgic taste along with a depth of flavor.
