Newly selected Michelin Bib Gourmand creative tempura skewer restaurant. There are two tables, a counter, and a small raised seating area. Ordering is done through a stop-order system, with prices approximately as follows: 10 skewers for 1,650 yen, 15 skewers for 2,475 yen, 20 skewers for 3,300 yen, and 25 skewers for 4,125 yen. The course changes every three months, offering skewers that transcend seasonal concepts. Upon entering the restaurant, three dipping sauces (sauce, ponzu, salt) are provided. The skewers are served at a good pace, with friendly staff explaining each dish and recommending dipping sauces. I was told later that when the skewers are placed on the draining rack, the direction of the skewer points towards the recommended dipping sauce. If placed separately or directly beside, it is meant to be eaten without any additional sauce. I was impressed by this attention to detail. The skewers ranged from plump shrimp to Miyazaki beef, showcasing creative dishes. Skewers representing dishes like tai-chazuke, shirako and karasumi, squid ink, bibimbap, and finishing with asparagus were particularly impressive. Despite initially thinking that tempura skewers might be too heavy for a middle-aged man like myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and textures and managed to devour 25 skewers without feeling greasy or heavy the next day. I left feeling completely satisfied and eager to return with each changing season. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

It was a long time since I last visited the Gojo family restaurant, and as always, I was pleasantly surprised by the new menu items and delicious flavors! It was relatively empty, probably because it was the day after a typhoon. I was amazed by the constant introduction of new kushikatsu items. The wine was also very affordable, so I ordered two appetizers with my course meal, and the total came to around 6,000 yen.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant on a regular night. It seems like a place where reservations are required. The restaurant was full of gourmet-looking customers. I ordered the chef's choice course, highball, glass of wine, and sparkling wine. I thought they were choosing wines that would go well with the food. The deep-fried skewers were creatively done in various ways. However, as they all looked like regular skewers, it became difficult to identify the flavors as I drank more. It might just be that I drank too much!

I made a reservation over the phone for 9:00 PM and when I arrived at 9:00 PM, the place was empty. I was a bit surprised, but soon after, the 9:00 PM reservation customers started coming in and the place quickly filled up. It's definitely a popular spot! Even though the phone service was always a bit cold, I was pleasantly surprised by the very polite service in person. The menu had a speed menu and a chef's choice course for the main skewers. I told them to stop when I was full and the bill was based on the number of skewers I had. Each skewer was unique and I ended up eating 15 without even realizing it! They explained each skewer in detail, including whether it was seasoned with salt or sauce. The mushroom and meat skewer was my favorite!

A fun and pleasantly surprising restaurant. Each dish is carefully explained, and they even tell you how to eat it. If you miss something, they will patiently explain it again. I had 2 glasses of sparkling water and 25 pieces of tempura for just under 4,800 yen. It's cheap, delicious, and enjoyable - I definitely want to come back. The dishes included natural shrimp, Miyazaki beef, hamo fish with sauce, mashed mushrooms, cold somen noodles with pumpkin and corn, zucchini with salted kisu fish, lotus root with chili oil, sardines, salted edamame chips, sea urchin cream croquette, salted octopus with okra, carrots, kimpap, crepe-wrapped potatoes, salted American hot dog, scallops, shrimp with salt, kiss fish with seaweed, bitter melon open sandwich, fried cucumbers, crispy chili peppers, eel with tomatoes and pickled ginger, konjac with roe, asparagus tempura, and fried banana.

The meal was full of surprises and delights from start to finish. Thank you so much. I had such a wonderful night and made great memories on my journey. I was constantly amazed by the unique combinations of ingredients and flavors. There were 28 different types of skewers that day, and although I could only eat up to the 25th due to my stomach capacity, I watched in awe as my companion finished them all. Each skewer was delicious, but two in particular stood out to me: grilled ayu fish and cucumber with melon and mint sauce, and deep-fried banana with wasabi-infused whipped cream. I was skeptical at first, but they were incredibly delicious. The other skewers had classic yet delicious combinations that I had never tried before, with light batter that even someone like me who easily gets indigestion could enjoy. I will definitely visit again when I go to Osaka next time!

All the skewers are cleverly made and deliciously fun. For example, quail eggs stuffed with firefly squid liver and topped with squid ink, or thinly sliced potatoes layered like mille-feuille with anchovies in between. It's exciting to see what will come next. The order in which the skewers are served is also well thought out, with sauce and salt provided for everyone at the same time. Once you can't eat anymore, you just stop. And the bill is surprisingly reasonable. What a wonderful restaurant. Without a doubt, the best skewer restaurant I've ever been to.

There were many innovative combinations. I started taking notes halfway through, but I wish I had started from the beginning... The dishes at the beginning were simple and delicious, with ingredients like shrimp, white fish, and avocado. Some examples of the combinations were sardines with bell peppers, shirako with spring cabbage, shishito peppers with chapchae spring rolls, bonito with garlic sprouts, avocado with bamboo shoots, and miso with fiddlehead ferns. There were also dishes like baby sardines and flying fish wrapped in seaweed, eel with tomato garlic, chicken cartilage with asparagus, banana with wasabi, and kiritanpo with cream cheese.

The unique and non-greasy deep-fried skewers are affordable! The small restaurant mainly has counter seats where the chairs do not move, so larger individuals may prefer table seating. Note that they do not accept credit cards. I made a reservation for 5:00 PM on a weekday. The official website states 5:30 PM, while the Tabelog page (official) states 5:00 PM, so it's a bit confusing. [What I Ate] 25 skewers for ¥3750 Sparkling wine for ¥1000 The skewers are chef's choice. They ask about your preferences beforehand and you can stop at any time. There are only a few common items like shrimp tempura, and many unique items that you can't find elsewhere! Everything was delicious (*´ω`*) Especially enjoyed the cartilage and the banana at the end. It was worth pushing through to the end. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant had 4 male staff members who worked together harmoniously. We ordered the chef's choice course with 25 dishes, a non-alcoholic beer, and ginger ale, and the total bill came to 4950 yen. The cost performance was amazing. The dishes included shrimp, mackerel with walnut miso, quail with firefly squid and squid ink chips, seafood curry, French toast with marinated salmon, konjac with roe, snap peas and green peas, sea bream with eringi mushrooms and kelp, sweet potato mille-feuille with anchovy butter, broccoli sesame dumplings with fluffy egg whites, jellyfish with cucumber and ginger, sakura mochi with lotus root, shellfish with spring cabbage, sardines with paprika, tarame and potato pizza, chapchae spring rolls, bonito and avocado with garlic sprouts, bamboo shoots and butterbur miso, whitebait and flying fish nori rolls, bell pepper and shishito peppers, eel with pickled ginger and tomato, banana with wasabi cream. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the feast.

Since I came to Osaka, I want to eat kushikatsu, but for those who are a bit hesitant about the lack of cleanliness in places like Shinsekai, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Various types of kushikatsu keep coming until you say stop, all of them are innovative and delicious. The prices are also quite affordable. It's the kind of place you want to introduce to others.

I visited the restaurant "Gojouya" in Temmabashi, where they serve skewers, which I love. I made a reservation and the place was fully booked, so I had to call several times. It's a very popular restaurant. Tonight, I toasted with white wine. The dishes I had included shrimp, Miyazaki beef, saury with walnut miso, firefly squid with quail egg and truffle chips, seafood curry, salmon marinated in French toast, cabbage salad, celery pickles, and more. I managed to try all 25 types of skewers they offered, from simple shrimp to complex flavors that capture the essence of spring. The service was excellent, with detailed explanations even though the restaurant was busy. I left feeling satisfied and would love to come back again. It was a delightful dining experience.

Visited with 2 people at 17:00 on a weekday. The restaurant was fully booked with a casual atmosphere. The kushikatsu is an all-you-can-eat system where you stop when you want. The average price is ¥1980 (tax included) for 15 items per person. We stopped at 17 items because we had plans for dinner, but each skewer was so delicious that we wanted to keep eating. It is evident that they pay attention not only to frying the ingredients but also to the preparation and finishing touches. Each skewer goes well with sauce, ponzu, salt, or just as it is, so you don't get tired of eating. I found a great restaurant that I always want to visit when I'm in Osaka.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. They served a maximum of 24 skewers until you say stop. For light dishes, you need to order separately. I tried a maximum of 24 skewers, recommended by the staff, with their recommended sauce. The highlights were shrimp with sauce, Miyazaki beef with sauce, sardine with walnuts and ponzu, firefly squid with squid ink chips and quail egg with sauce, seafood curry with sauce, salmon with French toast, sticky konjac with ponzu, Thai and enoki mushroom stuffed in kombu with salted kumquats, black beans, cheese, and mochi, broccoli sesame dango with egg white, sweet potato mille-feuille with anchovy butter, jellyfish with cucumber and ginger with ponzu, pickled cherry radish as is, long green pepper with sauce, whitebait with paprika with sauce, chapchae as is, bonito with avocado, garlic sprouts, and yuba roll with ponzu, snap peas with edamame with salt, bamboo shoots with kaiware shoots and fuki no tou miso, eel with tomato and gari with salted cod roe and potato pizza with salt, chicken cartilage with salt, asparagus with salt, and banana with wasabi. It had a creative skewer cutlet vibe. Personally, I enjoyed the Miyazaki beef, seafood curry, sweet potato mille-feuille, and banana the most. And the cost performance was good. Thank you very much.

I used it for a small class reunion with four classmates from junior high school. The skewers were all delicious with a unique twist. The wine was also reasonably priced and had good value. However, I personally wished there were slightly more skewers with substantial volume. The skewer shops around Temmabashi area are all of high quality.

I was served a variety of delicious kushikatsu dishes, each one tasting like a perfectly crafted dish rather than just skewers. I was enjoying my meal happily and feeling content, but suddenly I was told, "It's time for you to pay." I paid and within 5 minutes, I was rushed to leave because "the next customer is complaining." I wish they had informed me about the time limit when I was seated, especially since I had ordered a bottle of wine. I wanted to finish all the kushikatsu, but couldn't due to the rushed pace. It would have been better if they had let me know that I wouldn't be able to finish in time. I was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant, so I was very disappointed in the end. It was a sad experience for an otherwise enjoyable meal.

I was surprised by how cost-effective it was! We used it for a girls' night out at a 5-person table. It seems to be a very popular restaurant with a time limit for use. We started at 5:30 pm and had to leave by 8:00 pm. The creative kushikatsu had a satisfying taste, and the batter was not too heavy, so I ate about 20 skewers. Even though we all had drinks, the payment was around 4,000 yen per person! (from what I remember) Good taste, good price, it's no wonder it's so popular. It was a great restaurant.

The omakase course of 20 skewers (stop system) costs 3000 yen. Vegetable sticks x2 cost 420 yen. Grapefruit sour costs 480 yen and highball costs 480 yen. The staff kindly helped lift the baby stroller, providing excellent service. However, it is not a child-friendly place, more suitable for adults enjoying skewers and drinks. It is frequented by young people and middle-aged customers, so consideration for others is necessary. The unique skewers were delicious and enjoyable. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.
