Originally planned to visit a coffee shop, but after having overly salty ramen for lunch, we decided to balance it out by visiting this sweets shop instead. The cafe had a bright and vibrant atmosphere, focusing on fruit-based desserts. While the fruit sandwich was the highlight on Tabelog, we were intrigued by the highly recommended mixed juice, so we both ordered that. The freshly squeezed mixed juice was pure fruit juice without any added ice, and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of citrus acidity and banana sweetness was superb. It was the best mixed juice we've ever had! The fruit in the desserts was also exceptionally tasty, showcasing the quality of the ingredients used. The prices for individual fruits, like bananas, were surprisingly high, but it was clear that the shop used premium ingredients. Overall, it was a hidden gem in the trendy area of Kita Horie and highly recommended.

I visited during lunchtime on a weekday. I arrived around 11:30 and was seated right away. There were only two other customers at the time. This popular fruit parlor is located near Nishi-Ohashi Station. The interior has a clean and cozy atmosphere with 12 seats, popular among couples and female customers. I ordered the "A Lunch 990 yen" this time. It was served in less than 5 minutes. The fruit cup included peaches, mangoes, kiwis, pineapples, and bananas, all very fresh. The whipped cream was lightly sweetened and creamy. However, I felt that the bread used was not very special. I chose the melon and banana juice. The melon flavor was dominant, with banana as a secondary taste. For some reason, it had a slightly green taste, which I didn't quite like. This day was the second day of a three-day weekend on Sunday. After checking out of a hotel in Osaka Honmachi, I went for a walk to visit various dessert shops. First, I stopped by Patisserie Aquiyu, then walked about 3 minutes to Mikifruit Cafe. I was seated at a table and looked at the menu. Although I was tempted by the peach fruit sandwich, I decided to pass on it this time. - Mini Peach Parfait ¥1,540 - Seasonal limited peach juice ¥830 With the option to add a drink to the parfait for an additional ¥220, I ended up paying a total of ¥1,910. First, the mini peach parfait! It had 5 slices of peach, whipped cream, and vanilla ice cream. Underneath, there were apples, pineapples, and bananas hidden. The fruits at the bottom were sweeter than the peaches... but still delicious. And then the peach juice! This one had a stronger peach flavor, but it wasn't 100% peach juice. I thought about going to Patisserie Chocolaterie Ordinaire in the south, but since it's a chocolate shop, I'll save it for next time! On to the next place! Thank you for the meal!

During the Obon holiday, I went to Mikifruits Cafe, a place I had been wanting to visit because the photos looked delicious. Although I had high expectations for the mixed juice, personally I felt that the juice stand near the Hankyu Umeda Station in Osaka had better taste and value.

When I asked, the staff seemed annoyed and asked if I couldn't see the menu. I asked for a recommendation and ended up choosing the peach sandwich. After waiting for about 10 minutes, another staff member brought out the sandwich. The bread seemed like something you could buy at a regular store. The cream was decent, but the peach flavor was overpowered by the sweetness of the cream. Overall, the service and quality were disappointing.

This time the fruits were fig, orange, banana, and kiwi. The mixed juice was a delightful blend of various fruit flavors. I wish there was a place like this nearby, I would definitely be a regular. I was researching Osaka's fruit parfaits and came across this place. It was my first visit and I had already decided to order the summer limited mango & peach parfait before arriving, so I was relieved when I arrived around 12 o'clock and it wasn't sold out. First, the muscat grapes on top were delicious and sweet. They didn't lose to the whipped cream at all. The blueberries were very good and summery. The flavors were packed in tightly. Of course, the peaches and mangoes were delicious too. The soft serve inside was rich in milk flavor, similar to the soft serve at a dairy farm, and it was great with the strawberry sauce around it. Under the milk, there were chunks of pineapple, apple, and banana, and I was surprised at how many fruits were included for this price. I want to visit again according to the season.

As I sipped on it, the parfait arrived late. It had a variety of fruits like melon, fig, kiwi, and mango. Even though it was after lunch, I managed to finish it easily haha. Of course, it was sweet, so the remaining mixed juice lost its flavor... I slightly regret not having the parfait first before the juice. The banana was also very flavorful and sweet! It's been a while since I had such delicious fruits. The fruits sold in the store are high-end, like at Chihana or department stores... (just kidding). Next time, I want to try the parfait. The music playing in the background caught my attention. It's modern Japanese pop music, but instrumental, probably from a cable service? It's super cheesy. The mix juice has a rich fruit flavor with minimal milkiness. The banana flavor stands out. I visited during a late hour but it was easy to get in. I started to notice a pattern, the shop is empty without inbound customers. Is Japan becoming like that too?

I don't usually wait in line at cafes, but I guess popular places do get crowded. I sat at a table by the edge. Looking at the menu, there were various options besides fruit, but I decided to go with the classic A Set. The fruit sandwich had 4 slices and tasted really good. The mixed juice was quite generous in portion. It had a nice sweetness from the fruits, and I felt like I had replenished some nutrients. Surprisingly, I felt quite satisfied. Thank you for the meal.
