Located in Kasuga City. It is near the Acros Mall commercial facility and the Kyushu University Chikushi Campus. There is parking space for 1 or 2 cars in front of the shop. They offer a friendly lineup of items like bread, cream bread, and sausage bread.
- Cocoa Bagel, 150 yen: Not too sweet and chewy.
- Pudding Bread, 110 yen: A popular item with plenty of cream and caramel inside a thin dough that looks like pudding. Children would love it.
- Bread, 260 yen: Not sweet, perfect for sandwiches or pairing with other foods. The simple and affordable price is great, but it's important not to overdo it. Thank you for the meal.

I sometimes go to Handsman for various reasons, and I happened to come across this bakery while trying to take a detour to avoid traffic. I had seen their name on SNS and was curious, so I decided to stop by. It seems like the bakery is run by a couple, and they had a cute grandchild there when I visited. Their warm hospitality made me very happy. The smiles of the couple were also wonderful, and if this bakery was near my home, I would definitely visit often. This time, I bought some toast-worthy bread, which had a good firm crust. Lately, there has been a bread boom, with loaves selling for almost 1000 yen each, but this one was about 800 yen for a loaf three times the size. It seems like their other bread is reasonably priced as well. Local bakeries are really the best, aren't they?

Snacking on bread while driving. Kasuga "greengrass" November 20, 2018 NEW! Theme: Fukuoka City suburbs/Southern Kasuga stopped by a bakery "greengrass" near the Kasuga Za Mall... Located in a residential area nearby, it feels like a local bakery with compact and affordable prices. The sausage bread... is good. The crust is crispy... Also, the cheese France... and the bacon epi... I didn't write down which one costs how much, but they are all reasonably priced at 130, 150, and 160 yen each (excluding tax). Good stuff. ● Shop Information greengrass 092-571-7272 Kasuga 3-123, Kasuga City Business hours 08:00-19:00

Visited a small bakery in Kasuga, Kasuga City, Fukuoka Prefecture on a weekday morning at 8:20 am. There were still few products on display. The staff consisted of a man in the workshop at the back and two women who appeared to be in their 40s at the storefront. Purchased three items: Beef Curry Bun for 130 yen (excluding tax), Russian Piroshki for 130 yen (excluding tax), and Sunflower Bread for 120 yen (excluding tax). The curry in the curry bun was minimal, more like a regular cold curry without much flavor or spiciness, possibly aimed at children. The piroshki had a decent amount of filling with minced meat, onions, carrots, and a noticeable ginger flavor, salty and slightly spicy. As for the sunflower bread, it was already eaten before taking a photo, but it was described as just average. When asked about it, the staff mentioned using sunflower seeds and black sesame seeds in the bread. Overall, the bread was considered average, and the experience was unremarkable. The staff kindly saw me off and I left the shop.

I stopped by when I went to The Mall Kasuga. It's near Kasugano Post Office. There's parking space for one car, maybe? I walked from the mall myself (^^;) It's a small bakery in a town-like setting, but they had more variety than I expected. Cheese croissant \110 - A croissant that is not too crispy and easy to eat. It has diced cheese inside (*^^*) Pumpkin sweet bun \130 - Filled with plenty of sweet bean paste, good for a snack. Pudding bread \90 - A cream bread shaped like a pudding mold. It would be even better if there was more caramel flavor. But it's cute and delicious without being too sweet (^^) It's also great as a souvenir! They also had piroshki. The hard bread types are displayed on a table near the cash register. I want to buy hard bread and sandwich bread next time♪

This is a small bakery near Kasuga Mall. I stopped by on my way home from the mall. The bakery had a variety of soft bread displayed behind a large glass window. I avoided the bread that looked like it would go bad quickly due to the hot weather and bought three types of bread. I got a Ham and Cream Cheese Danish for 130 yen. It's a fluffy bread filled with soft cream cheese and ham. A Whole Pumpkin Bread for 130 yen. It's packed with mashed pumpkin filling, allowing you to fully enjoy the taste of pumpkin. A Sunflower Seed Bread for 120 yen. The bread has sunflower seeds mixed into the dough, giving it a unique texture. The bakery is located a little further down from the Kasuga 5th intersection on the opposite side of the mall. Hi, it's bread again today...anything? (laughs) This is a small bakery near the intersection of The Mall. I was looking for baguettes, but they were not displayed that day. I arrived after 10 o'clock, so maybe they weren't baked yet? If you're curious, ask the staff (laughs). The bread on display ranged from around 100 to 150 yen. I noticed a "pudding bread, 90 yen" at the front. The marble bread, sesame bread, and the recommended white bread were good choices. I bought a third of a 660 yen white bread for 220 yen and spent a total of 580 yen for lunch that day. As usual, among the many bakeries in the 300 yen range, this one...oh, no... (sweat). The pudding bread was unexpectedly delicious! It's more like a snack than lunch, though (laughs). The white bread was also good. It's soft and moist with a fragrant wheat flavor. "Wow, this is tasty!" you might think. I used half of the white bread for dinner at home. Finally, it's time for my own cooking! Instead of sweet French toast, I made "hot bread with summer vegetables" that goes well with wine. It takes half a day to prepare, but it's a dish that can compete with restaurants. The main feature is making it thick and luxurious! With common ingredients, it can be made in one frying pan. How about trying it as a main dish for your monotonous home dinner? Enjoy your meal.

I moved to Fukuoka exactly a year ago. I found a bakery right after moving. When I went to the flower shop (Green) and the miscellaneous goods store in Kasuga City in the morning, I happened to stop by a bakery with a freshly baked bread sign. The bread in the shape of this pudding at that store!! It was so delicious!! The recommended item is apparently the shokupan, but since I am the only one in my family who eats bread and a loaf of shokupan won't fit in the freezer, I haven't tried it. Today, I went there after a long time and bought a condensed milk French bread. I love French bread and I have my own delicious points for when it comes out of the oven, but the feeling of not being able to bite through it crisply and the butter-like stickiness of the condensed milk inside lingered in my mouth, which didn't quite match my taste. Unfortunately, the pudding bread was sold out by lunchtime today. I will go buy it again~. (*^。^*)

A cozy bakery with a variety of soft breads. Original Custard Bread (left: 94 yen): The shape and taste are both custard-like. Tomato Cheese Bread (right: 136 yen): The tomato sauce is delicious! Not too much cheese though. Kinako Flake French Bread (back: 136 yen): The flakes add a nice texture. I didn't buy it this time, but their milk bread is recommended. OVENBAKERY greengrass

This time, I went a little further out and visited the areas of Kasuga, Onojo, and Nakagawa. First stop was a bakery in Kasuga called Green Grass. It's located along Prefectural Route 580, right next to Kasugano Post Office. It's a small bakery in a little town, but there are lots of places nearby like The Mall, Kyushu University Chikushi Campus, and various schools, so it seems like the clientele is mainly students and families. They have a variety of breads, including traditional ones and fried breads. I tried their famous Pudding Bread first, which looks like pudding but has caramel sauce and custard inside, very sweet and enjoyable for both kids and adults. The Ham and Cream Cheese Danish was also delicious, with a moist Danish pastry filled with ham and cream cheese, a subtle salty flavor that complements the bread. The bread and the staff both have a warm, nostalgic vibe, making it a nice place to visit.

Located a little northeast of the intersection of Kasuga 5-chome, there is a small bakery with parking space for one car. I purchased the "octopus takoyaki bread" and "pudding bread" this time. The octopus takoyaki bread had a fluffy and soft bread dough filled with octopus takoyaki-like ingredients such as seaweed, bonito flakes, and mayonnaise. The pudding bread, resembling a pudding in appearance, had a fluffy dough filled with custard cream and caramel jelly.

There was a parking space for one car next to the shop. I visited around 2 pm on a weekday. There were about 20 types of bread, including traditional pastries and unique items like piroshki. I purchased melon bread, cream bread, croissant, walnut bread, and condensed milk cream French bread (totaling 630 yen). The staff recommended their white bread. The flavors were overall light, and the bread didn't have a strong wheat taste even when chewed.
