I ordered a Snow Royal Vanilla Ice Cream for 420 yen after 6 pm. While strolling around the airport, I came across the ice cream that was served to Emperor Showa, so I decided to buy it. It was refreshing with a strong vanilla flavor. Delicious! Thank you for the meal♪

I had the last snow brand royal vanilla ice cream in Hokkaido around 2:00 pm on September 14th. As expected from something royal, the taste was rich, creamy, and very delicious. It was a perfect way to end the meal with this royal ice cream.

After finishing a 2-night, 3-day family trip, we bought souvenirs at New Chitose Airport. We were exhausted, so we headed to the food court and got airport-exclusive soft-serve ice cream! I ordered a delicious caramel parfait and took a bite, it was also very tasty! I would love to eat it again when I come back to Hokkaido!

I used it around 5 p.m. on Sunday. There are several shops in the airport where you can buy soft serve ice cream, and some of them have lines, but I was able to buy here without waiting. The taste is not particularly memorable, but I think you can enjoy it as a regular soft serve ice cream.

I visited around noon on a regular day. I was able to purchase without waiting in line. The soft serve ice cream had a rich milk flavor but a refreshing texture. It was delicious and not too heavy, perfect for enjoying even in the summer. Definitely recommend trying it when visiting New Chitose Airport. ☺︎

In the departure lobby of New Chitose Airport, there is a parlor where you can enjoy soft serve ice cream. However, I opted for a draft beer. Since it was lunchtime and the restaurant area was full, I decided to have a drink here. I ordered a Sapporo Classic for 450 yen. The beer was served in a clean glass and tasted great. I was satisfied. I should have also bought a bento box for some snacks.

Since I was at Chitose Airport, I decided to get soft serve ice cream from the popular Snow Brand Parlor. It cost 420 yen. It reminded me of my student days when I used to eat parfaits at a shop near Sapporo Station. It's been so many years now! While trendy and stylish soft serves are nice, be sure to try the traditional Hokkaido soft serve as well.

During my 4-night, 5-day summer trip to Hokkaido, I was surprised by how much ice cream I ate. I had ice cream almost without fail for all three meals every day. The first memorable one was a soft serve from Snow Brand Parlor, after giving up on a certain popular shop due to the long line. I chose the Yubari Melon Mix flavor. It was a refreshing choice and apparently the top seller at the airport, which I can understand because it was delicious!

After enjoying the Shibetsu Ramen at Ramen Dojo on the 3rd floor of New Chitose Airport, I decided to have a dessert. I noticed there were a few Snow Brand Parlors in the airport, but I had never been to this one before. I quickly secured a table and ordered at the counter. I got the "Hokkaido Melon Soft Serve" for 540 yen. Despite being a melon flavor, it wasn't very green in color, but had a subtle melon hue that looked delicious. The taste was not too sweet, with a more mature flavor than expected. The soft serve had a generous amount of cream all the way to the bottom, which was satisfying. Even though I usually never eat soft serve, for some reason when I come to Hokkaido, I can't resist having some.

Strolling around Hokkaido New Chitose Airport. Taking a break on the observation deck on the 3rd floor. Replenishing nutrients at "Yukijirushi Parlor New Chitose Airport Store". New Chitose Airport is a soft-serve ice cream theme park. It's a treasure trove of delicious soft-serve ice cream. They offer milk-based and ranch-based soft serves using Hokkaido milk. They also have collaboration soft serves with famous Hokkaido sweets. And of course, when it comes to soft-serve ice cream, it has to be Yukijirushi Parlor. I chose the "Cup Soft (Blueberry)" for 480 yen (tax included). The rich and high-fat soft serve paired perfectly with the sweet blueberry jam. Cold, sweet, delicious, and the best!

I recently stopped by the "Yukijirushi Parlor" located inside New Chitose Airport. The store was a bit hard to find as it was in a slightly inconspicuous location, but my efforts were rewarded with deliciousness! I ordered a parfait for about 600 yen, and it was incredibly amazing. The cost performance was also excellent! It was so delicious that I decided I must visit again when I come to Hokkaido next time. If you happen to stop by New Chitose Airport, I highly recommend trying out Yukijirushi Parlor. It may take a little effort to find, but it is definitely worth it!

I was wandering around the airport waiting for some time and suddenly felt like having ice cream. I found a reasonably priced place and decided to try their soft serve ice cream with fresh caramel. I sat at the food court and enjoyed the soft serve, which had pieces of fresh caramel on top and caramel cream drizzled over it. It was a delicious treat with different textures and flavors to enjoy. What a great impression (lol) But seriously, that was the actual experience. On the final day of our Hokkaido expedition, after finishing lunch, we headed to New Chitose Airport. Just before reaching the airport, there was an outlet mall that caught our interest, but the airport itself was amazing Σ( ˙꒳​˙ ). It was about three or four floors tall, with two floors dedicated to restaurants, a food court where you could buy snacks, and of course, souvenir shops. I quickly decided on the popular Marusei Butter Sand as a souvenir and started my soft-serve ice cream tasting adventure (lol). Here at the food court on the third floor, there was a Yuki brand ice cream shop. I bought the Airport Soft Serve (420 yen). It was not overly sweet, but had a rich milk flavor. The aftertaste was really refreshing, making you want to keep eating more. It didn't feel lacking in sweetness, and had a milk soft serve flavor. The lack of feeling was not there, but the light sweetness made it seem like you could eat a lot. You can enjoy eating it while watching planes take off from the large windows. It made me feel like it was worth coming here. It's like a little treat at the end of the trip at the airport. It seems like you wouldn't get bored even if you arrived in the morning and had a flight in the evening. You can use various payment methods like PayPay and mobile carrier payments. ★

Located in the food court of New Chitose Airport, this place seems to be the only one offering dessert options. They have a lot of rich dishes, so it's good for a refreshing change. Personally, I wish they had more variety besides just soft serve ice cream. The Airport Soft Serve for 420 yen was delicious.

I visited the New Chitose Airport aiming to conquer all the ice cream and soft serve flavors available. I purchased the "Snow Royal Vanilla Ice Cream" which had a luxurious name. However, the taste was not as rich as expected based on the name, and it was just an ordinary flavor. It may have been a bit underwhelming compared to the name. Thank you for the meal!

Bullet train trip in Hokkaido. First stop, New Chitose Airport in Sapporo. This airport has amazing gourmet food that you just have to try. Hokkaido cuisine starts at the airport. Hokkaido is known for its fresh soft serve ice cream made with local milk. There are so many famous sweets from Hokkaido available at the airport, it's hard to choose! From Royce chocolate chips, Rokkatei butter sand cookies, LeTao cheesecakes, Kitakaro cream puffs, Sanpachi Roku Yuki, Snaffles cheese omelette, Kinotoya, Morimoto, Chitosean dorayaki, and more. Each shop offers their own soft serve ice cream as well. At Cafe Pronto, you can enjoy Iwase Farm soft serve, and at Snow Brand Parlor, you can try Snow Royal. There are so many options! Biei Senka has popular freshly baked corn bread, and you can even buy the salmon kimchi that SMAP's Nakai recommended at Marui Imai's Kita Kitchen. Unfortunately, the White Lover's store has closed down, but you can still enjoy White Lover's soft serve at Snow Brand Parlor, so no need to worry. Snow Royal costs 375 yen and was specially created for Emperor Showa in 1968. It took two years of trial and error to achieve its smooth texture and rich milk flavor. With a butterfat content of 15.6%, it surpasses Häagen-Dazs! The intense milk flavor is truly remarkable, with a smooth, gentle sweetness. The creaminess is unlike traditional ice cream, with a velvety smoothness that is simply divine. Thank you for the feast! Unfortunately, I couldn't buy the freshly baked corn bread at Biei Senka, so I headed to Saimi in Sapporo!

Afternoon of a day trip to Hokkaido. Even though it's only a 4-hour stay, I got a glimpse of how wonderful New Chitose Airport is. There are facilities on the 4th floor like a super sento bath that piqued my interest in who uses them. There are too many restaurants to choose from, making it hard to decide where to eat. I visited "Yukijirushi Parlor" to buy my first souvenir, and the sight of "Shiroi Koibito" caught my eye. Shiroi Koibito is sold in souvenir shops everywhere, but I somehow felt Yukijirushi was the right place to buy it. I remember the time before the pandemic when Chinese tourists on buying tours were purchasing Shiroi Koibito in bulk at Haneda Airport. It feels nostalgic. It's really heartwarming and prideful when people from overseas, especially in Asia, say that Japanese sweets are delicious. I don't know why, even though I'm not the one making them (laughs). I bought it and ate it with my family at home. Yes, this taste. A representative Japanese confectionery. I remember the time when there was a big problem with tampering with the expiration dates, but I'm glad they were able to recover. I hope it continues to be a beloved treat for people around the world! Thank you for the meal!

Because it's Hokkaido... the atmosphere might be 80% of it, but just by having the word "Hokkaido" in dairy products, it somehow seems delicious, doesn't it? Well, it was delicious so it's fine. The milk flavor was rich and the sweetness felt like condensed milk. I also bought a few other souvenirs. But the soft-serve ice cream was the best. I would recommend it with a score of 70 points.

I finally got to try Baumkuchen, which I had been curious about for a while. It was a fairly large Baumkuchen. The package from Yukijirushi is cute. The Baumkuchen was moist and a little firm. It had a mild sweetness, not too sweet. It would be recommended for those who prefer a firmer, solid texture. Personally, I prefer a softer, moister texture, so it was not exactly to my liking, but I'm glad I got to try the Baumkuchen from Yukijirushi Parlor that I had wanted to try for a while!
