JR "Tsukamoto Station" is located near the east exit, and there is a casual pizza restaurant called "Pizza Rainbow, Rainbow". I arrived before the opening time, so I decided to wait in front of the restaurant for a while. This popular restaurant offers reasonably priced pizza and pasta lunches. The lunch menu changes daily, and on this day, there were three options: Margherita, Mochi Mentaiko Potato Mayo Pizza, and Curry Pizza. Additionally, there are other lunch menu options like pasta and doria. A set including pizza or pasta, salad, and soup costs 650 yen. Adding a drink makes it 750 yen, and with dessert, it's 850 yen. The prices are reasonable, allowing customers to enjoy pizza or pasta lunches without breaking the bank, and the restaurant is always bustling with many customers. On this day, it was crowded with regular customers, mostly ladies, chatting and having a good time. It was surprising to see some customers ordering extra-large portions! Apart from the lunch menu, you can also order various pizzas and fried foods. They provide condiments like chili oil "Olio Piccante," red "Tabasco Pepper Sauce," and green "Tabasco Green Jalapeno" for flavor enhancement. For those who don't like spicy food, the green "Tabasco Pepper Sauce" is recommended. I, of course, chose the "Olio Piccante." The pizzas are baked in a gas kiln, not a wood-fired oven. The soup was a corn potage with a mild flavor, and the salad was surprisingly generous in portion. The Margherita pizza I ordered was topped with plenty of cheese and tomato sauce. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, although it became slightly hard as I ate. The cream pasta with duck and mushrooms was creamy and flavorful, with a nice touch of black pepper. The duck meat was plentiful and had a good texture. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, with delicious food and a lively atmosphere.
