I bought some vegan sweets at the Mitsukoshi department store in Ginza, as requested by my wife. We shared a zunda Mont Blanc for 1,100 yen, a strawberry shortcake for 1,015 yen, and a cherry shortcake for 1,285 yen. They were all delicious! These high-level vegan sweets are worth the high price.

I was taken to a highly recommended vegan sweets shop by a friend who is really into veganism. The desserts they had didn't look like vegan sweets at all - they had things like zucotto and shortcake that looked absolutely beautiful. I bought the Strawberry Shortcake (1015 yen), Cherry Tart (850 yen), and Scotch Cookie (546 yen). The prices were a bit high, but I guess it's because they use high-quality ingredients. I wouldn't normally be able to afford these, but since I was with my friend, I went ahead and bought them (laughs). The Strawberry Shortcake tasted just like a regular one at first, but the lingering taste reminded me of soy milk. I personally love cow's milk, so I probably won't buy this again, but I think it's a great dessert for those who don't like milk. The Cherry Tart was delicious and didn't taste any different from a regular one. The price was the only downside... it was about double the price of a regular tart. The Scotch Cookie was incredibly delicious, regardless of it being vegan. I highly recommend it! I forgot to take a picture of it, though (orz). I'm also curious about the chestnut cake and zucotto. Apparently, they have a shop at Haneda Airport and it's very popular among international visitors. It's only available until June 30th, but I guess there are a lot of vegans abroad. *Prices include tax.

Vegan cuisine is food that does not use animal products such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy, honey, or gelatin. This restaurant offers delicious desserts without using eggs or butter. I had never tried vegan food before, but I received a Christmas cake from a friend, so this was my first experience with a vegan cake. The chocolate cream on the outside was rich and had a sophisticated flavor. It was so delicious that I couldn't believe no animal products were used! The moist sponge had a dark flavor, almost like it had brandy in it, which was the highlight. Even at the age of fifty, there are still so many unknown worlds out there, and I deeply realized that. Thank you for the meal.

According to the pamphlet, it is said to be from New York. They do not use preservatives, margarine, etc. Instead, they use plant-based ingredients such as soy milk and cane sugar. When searched, the confectionery marshmallow is spelled this way. My wife bought a blueberry muffin (565 yen excluding tax) and a plain pound cake (375 yen excluding tax). I ate half of the blueberry muffin. I am not someone who is accustomed to eating muffins, but I think it's delicious. To be precise, it's the most delicious thing I've eaten. If we're just talking about taste, I would give it a 4. However, it's probably the most expensive muffin I've ever eaten. If they are using good ingredients (especially with inflation now), there's nothing you can do about it. I'll give it an overall rating of 3.4.

The vegan marshmallow opened at Ginza Mitsukoshi has a cute name! I purchased it for a birthday cake in advance by phone and confirmed that the peach square cake is a limited-time offer, so I decided on that. ・Peach square cake 3280 yen ・Chocolate plate 232 yen The peach is beautifully decorated in the shape of a rose and it really lifts your spirits. The plate I had requested in advance was also cute and they cut it for us with 4 people. It's small but the sponge is dense yet not heavy. It has a deep and gentle flavor, satisfying to eat. The cream is soy milk-based, light, and not beany, which is nice. Sometimes vegan sweets can have a bean smell, but there is none here! The cake overall has a gentle sweetness. The juicy peach goes well with it. Everyone kept saying "Delicious! Delicious!" We all enjoyed it. It's rare to find such a delicious vegan treat. I would be so happy if I received it as a souvenir. The staff who answered the phone was polite and remembered me when I went to the store. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it. I want to eat it again! Thank you for the meal.

I visited again and tried the pudding a la mode, which was incredibly delicious. The Zunda Mont Blanc was also impressively tasty. It seems these are limited-time offerings until the end of August, but they have already extended once before, so I hope they extend it again. Ideally, I would like to see these become permanent menu items.

Today, I got takeout from a sweets specialty store called "The Vegan Marshmallow" that was set up at Mitsukoshi. I tried the Zunda Mont Blanc for 1080 yen (tax included). This Mont Blanc uses zunda (edamame paste) as a Japanese ingredient. It was my first time trying zunda with Mont Blanc. The Mont Blanc cream is a combination of edamame paste, zunda bean paste, and soy milk whip. Inside, there is soy milk whipped cream, red bean paste, coffee jelly, rice flour sponge, and rice flour cookie. The harmony of different flavors is interesting. You can feel the edamame flavor of zunda, along with the chewy rice flour sponge, coffee jelly, and other accents. I didn't have a good impression of vegan sweets before, but this one was deliciously made. Thank you for the meal.

I took out Mont Blanc melon and mango shortcake, coffee jelly, rice flour snowball, plain heart cocoa cookie from Ginza Mitsukoshi. The 9th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi is called Ginza Terrace, with counter seats by the window. I enjoyed them there while looking outside. I have tried various vegan sweets from different shops, but the sweets here are of very high quality. You wouldn't even know they are vegan unless told. This time, I chose all gluten-free items. The shortcake has delicious sponge cake. It is light and fluffy, not heavy like typical rice flour desserts, with a moist and soft texture like one made with wheat flour. The cream is smooth and mellow. It tastes like it's made from milk! The Mont Blanc has a rich chestnut aroma! The sponge and cream have the same impressions as the shortcake. The coffee jelly also has excellent whipped cream. It's milky but vegan. The level of skill in this is amazing...

A vegan specialty cake shop located in the basement of Ginza Mitsukoshi. It was originally scheduled to be open until the end of June, but it has been extended until the end of August. It seems like more of these unique pop-up shops without permanent locations may be on the rise in the future. The price is high at 1,000 yen per piece, but the taste is exquisite. The level of perfection in vegan sweets has truly come this far. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I went to Ginza Mitsukoshi to try their vegan marshmallows. I wanted to see how vegan sweets stack up as a dessert option, so I decided to try the strawberry shortcake made with rice flour (vegan, gluten-free, no alcohol) for 972 yen and the chocolate cake for 918 yen (vegan, wheat sponge, no cream, eggs, or butter). The strawberry shortcake had a round shape with a sexy strawberry on top, and the cream was surprisingly delicious - light, refreshing, and not too sweet. The rice sponge was moist and chewy, making it a delightful treat. As for the chocolate cake, it wasn't as rich as regular chocolate cakes, but it was still tasty. Overall, these vegan sweets are a great option for those with allergies or dietary restrictions. It's amazing to see how the dessert culture is evolving. Thank you for the delicious treats.

I tried some vegan baked goods from a vegan specialty pastry shop that opened in Ginza Mitsukoshi. They had items like shortcake, apple pie, madeleines, and pound cakes for sale. I purchased madeleines and pound cake (Earl Grey flavor). Both the madeleines and pound cake were made without butter, so they didn't have the usual sweet buttery aroma. The pound cake had a moist texture with a hint of Earl Grey fragrance. The flour used in the pound cake seemed different from the usual one, resulting in a unique texture. The madeleines also had a different texture, sweetness, and aroma compared to regular pastries, but they were still delicious baked goods.

I was a little disappointed when the seasonal chocolate rum flavor that I really wanted to buy was sold out right in front of me, but I decided to buy the seasonal chocolate orange flavor instead. It's a box of three pieces and feels quite heavy. When I tried it, it had a nice orange flavor and the chocolate wasn't overly sweet or heavy. My body felt good after eating one piece.

I bought zukkotto. The gentle sweetness of soy milk is delicious. At first glance, it looks small, but when you eat it, it is quite moist and satisfying.

I am really grateful because my boyfriend has a dairy allergy, so I am always saved by this place for celebrations. Despite being allergen-free, the cream and other dishes tasted authentic and delicious. Thank you very much.
