釣りするカツオに食べるカツオ
Thank you for always checking out my reviews m(_ _)m If you like it, I would be happy if you could bookmark the shop by clicking the "Save Shop" button m(_ _)m I visited a curry restaurant called "Shigekiya" in Nagahoribashi, which I had bookmarked a long time ago! The address of Shigekiya is 2-5-21 Minamisenba, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, and it is a 3-minute walk from Nagahoribashi Station on the Osaka Metro. It is a restaurant selected as one of the top 5000 on Tabelog. I arrived at the shop at 11:30. Closed on Sundays and holidays, business hours are from 11:00 to 17:00. There was no line outside at the right timing! I thoroughly disinfected both hands with the alcohol disinfectant at the entrance of the shop, got permission to take photos, and sat at the counter seat. The interior of the shop has 11 counter seats. The shop is run by the owner and the owner's mother (relatives?). The base curry comes in two types: curry and dry curry. The base spiciness varies depending on the combination of toppings. Extra spiciness is available for an additional charge. I googled Instagram posts and decided on this combination: "Dry curry for my husband, with chicken and coriander toppings, please." The total came to 1,500 yen, with 1,100 yen for the dry curry, 350 yen for the chicken, and 50 yen for the coriander. Cabbage pickles were served first, and the curry was served on a large oval plate, while the dry curry was served on a round plate. The owner's mother asked about the amount of rice and served it accordingly. Of course, my husband asked for extra rice! (Extra large costs an additional 300 yen) If you don't say you want extra rice at first, they will add more rice or curry later. Since it was my husband's first visit and he ordered a lot of toppings, he couldn't ask for extra rice or curry later. After a short wait, the dishes arrived. Coriander on the sea of curry! Green peas on the mountain of dry curry! The yolk is flowing from the boiled egg! Let's eat! First, I tried the chicken curry sauce alone! It's a chunky style with a strong spice and a nice aroma! As you eat, your body gradually gets warmer. It has an addictive quality where you feel the umami and want to take another bite. Customers who ordered the chicken curry alone seemed to enjoy mixing the chunky curry with rice. The chicken is cooked separately from the curry and is tender and juicy! If you like coriander, I recommend eating it with this chicken! The dry curry is made with minced meat and eggplant, giving it a rich aroma and deep flavor. The rice is cooked just right and goes well with the curry! Mixing the chunky curry, dry curry, chicken curry, and yolk is delicious. For flavor variation, use the "garlic and almond oil" on the table! Mix it well and pour it over the rice! It adds a nutty aroma and the umami of garlic. It's a different twist from other nearby curry restaurants. I enjoyed the meal until the end and left the shop after paying and thanking everyone at Shigekiya. Husband: Thank you for the meal! It was delicious! I will come again! _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ Thank you very much for reading until the end m(_ _)m I hope this review can be even a little helpful for your gourmet information.
