The items I purchased this time were the Karaimo Le Cake Lovely and Sweet Potato. The Karaimo Le Cake Lovely is a moist and smooth-textured confection that brings out the sweetness of sweet potatoes very well. The Sweet Potato is shaped like a sweet potato, with plenty of moist sweet potato filling in a lightly browned crust.

I received a rare cheese tart with sweet potato. Sometimes when people praise a snack made with sweet potato, they say it tastes like sweet potato, but then I think, why not just eat sweet potato itself? One thing to note is that it is wrapped in aluminum foil, and if you hold it while eating, the heat from your hands transfers to the foil, making it lukewarm, so it's better not to hold it... The instructions also warn not to hold it because it's dangerous. It's also good that there are no unnecessary additives. Since it's frozen, I think it's best to eat it when it's partially thawed in hot weather.

The taste is refreshing. The price is 1520 yen for an 8-piece box, which is reasonable. Additionally, they provide dry ice for a 6-hour journey if you want to take it home, making it a great souvenir option. It may be a bit unusual to bring Kagoshima sweet potato cake as a souvenir from Fukuoka, but it's delicious, so why not?

This is a specialty shop for sweet potatoes in Kagoshima. Years ago, I used to look forward to receiving Festivaro's sweet potato cake as a souvenir from Kagoshima. Recently, while wandering around Daimaru, I found Festivaro here! I bought it right away. The most popular sweet potato, Karaimo Lovely, has a smooth texture like raw sweet potato, and at our house, we freeze it and enjoy it in a semi-thawed state. Also, I look forward to the limited edition Mont Blanc that comes out in autumn every year. It's like being happy that I can eat my favorite sweets anytime, but also feeling sad that the Kagoshima vibe is fading...笑
