Points☆ Experience the atmosphere of a local Taiwanese street stall☆ Many overseas customers inside, creating a foreign atmosphere☆ Juicy hot soup bursting out of the pan-fried soup dumplings!☆ Plenty of Chinese and Taiwanese local dishes on the menu! "Li Ji" was recommended by my Chinese friend! It's a Chinese and Taiwanese restaurant with a local street stall-like atmosphere. All the staff are Chinese. The specialty here is the pan-fried soup dumplings! There are warnings inside the restaurant not to bite into them directly because the hot soup inside can burn you! Use your chopsticks to open them up and sip the soup while eating. The crispy outer skin and the juicy meat inside go perfectly together! They also have other delicious dishes like braised pork rice, zongzi (Chinese sticky rice dumplings), and grilled lamb skewers, offering a wide variety of Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine! Even after eating all this, the cost was around 4000 yen for two people, which is great value for money! I visited Taiwan last year, and the atmosphere here is just like the local places there, creating a sense of foreign charm. The restroom and the ambiance of the dishes also have a traditional Taiwanese and Chinese feel. So, I recommend using this place for a casual meal rather than a date! Thank you for the meal.

The meat juice is amazing♡ I can sit on the second floor and enjoy my favorite grilled xiaolongbao. Self-service water with black vinegar, soy sauce, vinegar, and other condiments available for flavor enhancement. A few years ago, I read a review about this place and have been wanting to visit. Finally, I went and now I'm addicted (laughs). 4 grilled xiaolongbao for ¥440, a great deal for lunch. The staff are very good at Japanese, so you can communicate in Japanese without any problems. Payment can be made with PayPay. Thank you for the great meal!

This is really good! Right near Nankai Namba Station. I've always been getting takeout, but I finally decided to dine in. When I used to live near Minami, this was my go-to spot. When it comes to xiaolongbao, Li-ki is the best! Even when you think you've finished, there's still more juicy meat inside. The skin is chewy, but the bottom is crispy, which is great. I also like to eat it with black vinegar for a lighter taste. Ah, I want to eat it again. Definitely check it out!

The restaurant is small with seating only on the 2nd floor, and it was empty when I visited at 2:30 pm on a weekday. Some things to note are: how to eat the pan-fried soup dumplings, ordering through a smartphone QR code, and cash payment. The pan-fried soup dumplings are messy to eat, so be prepared. Ordering is done through a QR code scanning app, which can be a challenge for customers without smartphones. Cash payment may take some time as change may be incorrect. The menu is extensive, but the service prioritizes turnover, so the dan dan noodles were served lukewarm. The taste is authentic, but the staff's service skills are lacking.

I think this restaurant serves the most delicious pan-fried soup dumplings. I visit once a month. It's not just delicious, but it tastes just like the real thing. A hidden gem is the boiled dumplings! The filling is a mix of celery, pork, and shrimp, and the soup is juicy without being too strong. I wanted to try the soup dumplings too, but they only serve them during breakfast. I will definitely go in the morning next time.

Today we had a drinking party in Namba. We had some time before everyone gathered, so we decided to have a quick drink at "Lee Ki", a restaurant known for its soup dumplings. We toasted with Taiwanese beer and pan-fried soup dumplings. The soup inside the dumplings splattered more than we expected! It was my first time trying pan-fried soup dumplings, and they were delicious with a crispy outer skin and juicy filling. I usually enjoy regular soup dumplings, but pan-fried ones are also great. We enjoyed our drinks outside without any worries, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. You can also enjoy a full meal of Taiwanese cuisine inside the restaurant. Overall, it was a convenient and reasonably priced restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of dishes.

This is a review of a restaurant with authentic cuisine. The atmosphere is like being in Taiwan (or maybe China) with unique spices. The service is normal, but when it gets crowded, the staff push you onto small tables aggressively, without even providing hot towels. The neighboring customers eventually apologize for the long wait, which seems to be a common occurrence. After writing this review, I realized that the neighboring customers, who were all Chinese, might have complained to the staff about the lack of seats, leading to the rushed and forceful seating arrangements. It was a strange experience, with spilled food and a feeling of wanting to leave. The male customer apologized, while the female remained silent. It was all quite unnatural and odd. It made me think about the challenges faced by the staff, who have to deal with complaints and uncertain customer interactions. Providing a place for customers to eat is a tough job, especially when trying to cater to foreign visitors. Overall, it was an experience of enjoying authentic flavors in an authentic atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.

After having lunch, I happened to stop by a shop out of curiosity and chose to try the grilled xiaolongbao. They were incredibly juicy and delicious, I could easily eat them even after lunch. The service had a Taiwanese vibe and the casualness was forgivable, it was actually quite charming! Thank you for the meal.

I visited a shop near Nankai Namba that I had been curious about before. I arrived around 12 o'clock to try their pan-fried soup dumplings. First, I ordered a draft beer for 350 yen including tax and 4 pan-fried soup dumplings for 418 yen at the storefront, then headed to a table on the second floor. Cheers with the beer! After a while, the pan-fried soup dumplings arrived - crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and piping hot. They were delicious as they were. It's still early, so I'm off to another place (lol). Thank you for the meal!

Today, I visited "Lee Ji" on Park Street, a specialist in grilled xiaolongbao. Upon my wife's request, we headed there and sat on the second floor. We ordered the Ma La noodles, grilled xiaolongbao (4 pieces), scallion pancake, and hot and sour glass noodle soup for a total of 1,793 yen. The menu had a good variety, so after some consideration, I chose the Ma La noodles while my wife chose the hot and sour glass noodle soup. We decided to share the grilled xiaolongbao and scallion pancake. The grilled xiaolongbao was delicious with its crispy exterior and flavorful meat filling. The Ma La noodles and hot and sour glass noodle soup were also tasty. We enjoyed our meal. The ordering process was convenient with QR code scanning for automatic ordering. Overall, the restaurant offered reasonably priced dishes and was a great place to dine. A satisfying meal with no regrets.

In Namba, Osaka, I went to a Taiwanese restaurant called Li Ji that specializes in pan-fried soup dumplings. They had a sign warning not to bite into them, but I couldn't resist trying them out. The dumplings had a crispy exterior and were filled with hot, juicy meat inside. I enjoyed the flavors of black and white sesame as I took a bite. I washed it down with a cheap highball and before I knew it, there were steamed dumplings on the table. I had to resist ordering more food like braised pork rice because I was already full. I wonder if pan-fried soup dumplings are common in Taiwan too? I haven't seen them before, but I'll make sure to try some at a famous place next time I visit. It seems like there's still a lot to explore, but I'll continue to deepen my love for Taiwan by enjoying more Taiwanese experiences in Japan. The pan-fried soup dumplings were delicious! Thank you for the meal.

Unfortunately, I happened to visit at a bad time, as there was a huge line due to the restaurant being featured on TV a week prior. Despite the location suggesting high prices, I found a Taiwanese restaurant in a back alley that was even cheaper. The dishes were all generous in portion size, with rice served in bowl sizes. The flavors tended to be on the sweeter side. The pan-fried dumplings had a slightly thicker crust, and I found them tastier when cooled slightly before biting into them whole. The drinks were inexpensive, but the draft beer had a faint smell of insufficient cleaning of the tap. The restaurant itself had a unique smell. I would like to try their noodle dishes as well, as they are affordable and filling.

In Osaka, a real taste of Taiwan. I went to this restaurant because it had high ratings on Uber. You can order the pan-fried soup dumplings in even numbers. The pan-fried soup dumplings were crispy on the outside and filled with plenty of flavorful broth, very delicious! The Lu Rou Fan had a sweet and savory meat with a unique Taiwanese aroma, it was simply tasty. The Ma La Ramen had difficulty in getting the minced meat to stick to the noodles, and the flavor didn't really come through when slurping the noodles. The meat was just spicy and the Ma La Ramen was not that great. However, the soup dumplings and Lu Rou Fan were truly authentic Taiwanese flavors and very delicious!

Hello. This is a restaurant that I used to come to eat xiao long bao in the past. This time, I came to eat roujiamo and other dishes. The restaurant is run by Chinese people. This time, I had my meal on the second floor. I had draft beer, roujiamo, dried tofu, and liangpi. Even though the spiciness was mild, it was still quite spicy. And despite being in the 500 yen range, the dishes had a decent portion size. I ended up feeling full and couldn't finish everything. The sense of portion size is different in China, so the dishes here are quite generous. The spiciness is also different from the Japanese sense, so even if it's mild, it can still be quite spicy, so be careful!

This time it's Nankai Namba Station again. I recently found this place and it has become one of my favorite shops. It's located west of Nankai Namba Station, south of McDonald's. You order on the first floor and eat on the second floor. The second floor can fit about 15 people. It's small. I ordered 4 pieces of grilled soup dumplings for 390 yen plus a draft beer for 290 yen. They were ready pretty quickly. The taste is excellent, although the skin could be a bit thinner. Delicious broth comes bursting out from the inside. They are quite small, so 4 pieces are about the equivalent of 2 rice balls in terms of quantity. The place has a foreign atmosphere, but it's okay to use Japanese.

I occasionally appear in Osaka for some reason, but I had never really looked into this restaurant before! I am more of a Twitter addict than a LINE user, so it feels like FF-sama must have told me about this place. Originally, I came for business, but after watching fireworks and going to the recommended takoyaki restaurant Asuka by FF-san, I remember writing a review about it, but I haven't updated it at all. My friends have been to Taiwan, but they only eat Japanese-style hotel food or convenience store bread, which I think is a waste. They were surprised by the first time trying Taiwanese-style dishes. I wanted to try a variety of dishes, but things like tantanmen were unnecessary, seriously. It would be great if there were more shops with strong branding, like displaying photos of the Zihqiang Express, and if there were shops where Japanese is not understood to the point that other Japanese customers would be reluctant to come... For now, I'll eat some locally flavored boiled eggs to calm down. I love them so much that I make them at home, so I really wish there were more shops like this... I want more tea restaurants in Japan!! I want to be able to travel overseas early in the new year, but it's still a little ways off. Until then, I will rely on places like this!

I was planning to catch the 6:30 pm bullet train and have some persimmon leaf sushi and beer for dinner, but I arrived at Namba Station earlier than expected and found myself drawn to this restaurant. There were tables outside where you could eat (they had egg oolong tea simmering in an electric pot), but there was also a second floor. I ordered "4 pieces of pan-fried soup dumplings (380 yen)" and headed upstairs. The middle had tables, and there were counter seats along the wall. The menu had photos, making it easy to order. I told myself "I'll just have the soup dumplings since I'm planning to eat persimmon leaf sushi," but as I waited, the pan-fried soup dumplings arrived. Of course, I also ordered a draft beer (290 yen). There was a sign on the wall that said "No biting allowed!" and instructions on how to eat the dumplings. First, you poke a hole with chopsticks and press down with a spoon to collect the amber-colored soup. Sipping the soup, I thought, "Wow, this is delicious!" The dumplings were firm and not greasy, unlike any I had tried before. They were really good! As I ate, my appetite grew, and I thought, "I want at least one more dish." Everything on the menu looked delicious, but I decided on the spicy tofu noodle salad (380 yen). And, of course, I had to order another beer since mine was gone. The salad was also delicious. When I ordered, the staff, who all seemed to be from Taiwan, asked me, "A little spicy? Spicy? Which one?" I requested "Very spicy!" but it turned out to be just moderately spicy. It was tasty, and I kept eating. I felt like I could eat one more dish, but I had to save room for the persimmon leaf sushi. The total bill was 1340 yen. For lunch that day, I had fried tofu udon and one draft beer for about 1500 yen, so this meal felt like a better deal. It was a delicious feast!

Took a day off work for the G20 and decided to go shopping in Namba. My wife loves xiaolongbao, so as soon as we arrived in Namba, she had her eyes set on it. Without hesitation, we decided to go there. The first floor had a kitchen and takeout area, with a few outdoor seating options. We climbed the narrow staircase on the left to the second floor, where there were counters and tables. It was almost full when we got there. They served: - Draft beer for 290 yen, a regular size glass, very reasonable - Lemon chu-hai for 290 yen, they also had highballs The main dish was xiaolongbao: - Grilled xiaolongbao for 570 yen for 6 pieces, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They had instructions on how to eat them properly, so be careful not to spill the soup. - Pig trotters for 350 yen, very tasty and goes well with beer. The only downside was the small and cramped traditional Japanese toilet, which might be uncomfortable for women. The service was good, and they had some unique dishes. I would definitely want to stop by for a drink if I'm in the area again.

At Namba, Li-ji's pan-fried soup dumplings are popularly thought of as Taiwanese cuisine because Din Tai Fung made them famous worldwide. However, they actually originated in Shanghai. Li-ji also promotes them as a Taiwanese specialty. Regardless, if they're delicious, it's all good. I ordered 4 pan-fried soup dumplings for 380 yen and used chopsticks to puncture them and savor the rich soup inside. After finishing the soup, I enjoyed the crispy bottom and plump top of the dumplings, with sesame adding a nice touch. Be careful not to burn yourself as the soup is piping hot. Since it was still cold out, I also ordered a small wonton soup for 380 yen.

I visited a Taiwanese restaurant called Li Ji, located about 30 seconds south of Namba Naka McDonald's. I ordered 10 pieces of "Yaki Xiao Long Bao" for 950 yen, reminiscing about the ones I had in Taipei. The restaurant also offered reasonably priced draft beer for 290 yen. The first floor serves as the kitchen and takeout counter, while the dining area is on the second floor. When I went upstairs, I was surprised to find that it was almost full, with only women customers. The "Yaki Xiao Long Bao" was served piping hot, with warnings not to bite into it right away due to the risk of burning. I used chopsticks to carefully open it and savor the delicious broth inside. The crispy exterior and juicy filling made it incredibly tasty. There was also spicy miso available for those who wanted to change up the flavor. I ordered another draft beer to enjoy with my meal. They also offer other Taiwanese dishes and noodles, which I would love to try next time. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience at Li Ji!
