On September 4, 2023, I arrived at Shinsaibashi PARCO in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, at the same time the store opened. I visited the Fueki Shop on the 9th floor of PARCO. My goal was to buy Fueki souvenirs and enjoy some soft serve ice cream. While my companions were busy browsing for souvenirs, I was eager to have the soft serve ice cream. However, it took about 30 minutes of exploring the store before I could finally buy the souvenirs and then indulge in the soft serve ice cream. I ordered the standard vanilla flavor, while my companion got the limited edition sweet potato flavor. The ice cream came in a golden Fueki cone, which was quite impressive. After placing the order, we received the Fueki cone and the ice cream portion. We had to set the portion on a machine after sanitizing our hands, and then swirl the soft serve ourselves. It was a bit challenging because the ice cream was firmer than expected, making it tricky to fit neatly into the cone. When I finally managed to top the Fueki cone with the soft serve, I thought, "Phew, that was close." Unfortunately, my attempt didn't look very pretty, so I decided not to take a photo. My companion, on the other hand, did a better job. We sat on the Fueki chairs inside the store and enjoyed our delicious and refreshing treat. It was a delightful experience.

I tried making matcha soft serve, and while the container color was predetermined as green, you could choose the other flavors freely. There was a space for taking photos of the finished product, so I snapped a picture. It was extremely hot outside, so it tasted really delicious.

Set the ice cream in the machine and choose the speed at which the soft serve comes out. Press the button and the ice cream comes out with a whoosh. I chose vanilla. It's 500 yen flat. I messed up while taking photos and ended up with a brain-like shape, but it's okay because the taste is delicious!! The chair that was supposed to be swirled and stand up at the end is cute and cute. After eating, they give you a bag to take home. Of course, it comes with a lid that doubles as a hat. On December 3, I experienced the "Finale Parfait" after drinking the popular sake in Sapporo, and then I rushed to another sweets shop just before closing time. I went up to the 9th floor using the escalator at "Shinsaibashi PARCO" and visited "Fueki Shop" that opened inside Tokyu Hands in November last year. The shop is themed around the animal-shaped character "Fueki-kun," with a yellow color scheme symbolizing the Fueki-kun container. The shop offers a wide range of shop-exclusive goods from food menus to cosmetics, accessories, and apparel. The representative product of "Fueki Glue Industry Co., Ltd.," founded in 1886 with its headquarters in Yao City, Osaka Prefecture, is the "Fueki Glue," which is a glue and adhesive product used in school projects and households. Especially, the "Animal Glue" released in 1975 features cute animals (dogs) wearing hats on the packaging. Although this dog did not have a name for a long time, it was named "Fueki-kun" in 2008 and has been a long-selling product loved by preschoolers and school children. The highlight of this shop is the soft serve ice cream served in Fueki-kun containers in six colors: red, yellow, pink, blue, white, and matcha. The flavors include vanilla, vanilla & strawberry, vanilla & chocolate, premium matcha, chestnut, and premium chocolate. I chose the Fueki-kun Soft Serve Ice Cream 500 yen, vanilla & strawberry flavor, in a yellow container. After paying the fee, I received a yellow Fueki-kun cup with vanilla & strawberry soft serve ice cream, and I had to swirl it myself using the soft serve ice cream machine next to the register. I held it in my left hand, took a photo with my smartphone in my right hand while swirling, which was a bit awkward and I messed up the swirling, making it look clumsy. I should have neatly swirled it into a spiral shape before taking a photo. I sat on a chair shaped like a Fueki-kun hat in a corner of the shop and enjoyed the ice cream. Holding the cute Fueki-kun container in my hand, I first took a bite from the top and then licked the soft serve ice cream scooped with a wooden spatula, creating a strange scene of licking and nibbling. Since it was just before closing time and there were no other customers around, I was relieved that no one saw me (laughs). The ice cream was delicious as usual, and thank you for accompanying me on this review that was clearly aimed at being entertaining. Thank you for the meal!

We went to the restaurant because I love Fueki-kun. There is a large object there, so we took many photos. We made our own Fueki soft serve, and the staff were surprised at how good we were at it. My friend had the limited edition purple sweet potato flavor, which looked like Fueki-kun being strangled.

I finally visited the "Fueki-kun" shop in Osaka that I've always wanted to go to. I tried their Fueki Soft Serve ice cream where you can choose your favorite container and flavor - vanilla or vanilla & chocolate. I used to work at a Japanese restaurant for 7 years, so I'm really good at making soft serve ice cream. The Fueki-kun container is reusable, so you can wash it and use it as a small container or a plant pot. I'm curious about trying different flavors, so I'll definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

I came to Shinsaibashi Parco. On the 9th floor, there is Tokyu Hands. Last time I came, I found a corner in the yellow curtain inside with the name "Fueki Shop". This Fueki Shop is a shop that sells goods based on the long-selling product "Fueki Animal Glue" from "Fueki Kogyo" in Yao City, which has been loved since its release in 1975. I found out that you can buy soft serve ice cream in the "animal container" used for glue. When I came to the shop and told the staff, I was guided to the counter and first choose my favorite "animal container". There are four types of containers: dog, rabbit, elephant, and matcha Fueki-kun. Then you choose the flavor of soft serve ice cream from vanilla, vanilla & strawberry, vanilla & chocolate, and premium matcha, priced at 500 yen (*only premium matcha is 600 yen). I chose the rabbit container, which was said to be rare and only sold for 10 years. The soft serve ice cream was vanilla & strawberry flavor. The staff set the cup with soft serve ice cream in the machine, and I filled the animal container with soft serve ice cream by myself. I chose the "slow" speed for the cream to come out, but it was quite difficult! The result was not very beautiful, but I ate it at the eat-in corner with Fueki-kun's chair. When I ate it with the provided spoon, the strawberry flavor was rich and matched well with the vanilla. There was plenty of cream, enough to understand why it might spill over, and I was satisfied. You can take the container home, and even after returning home, I remember the fun experience.

Fuekinori goods store opened on the 9th floor of PARCO Shinsaibashi. The cute yellow round style is so adorable♡ They have Fuekinori and Sarubobo from Hida Takayama. It's something that makes you want to buy it because it's so cute. As I walked around the store, I found a soft-serve ice cream corner! You pay for the soft-serve ice cream first, then you can choose a cup. They set up the base of the soft-serve ice cream for you, and then you just have to pull the lever to make the swirls! I couldn't make it perfectly though... There are several flavors of soft-serve ice cream available. I chose chocolate x vanilla, a classic combination! It was refreshing and delicious.

On November 20th, in the newly opened PARCO in Shinsaibashi, there is a shop on the 9th floor inside Tokyu Hands dedicated to Fueki-kun! It's the first store in Japan! There are lots of Fueki-kun goods in the shop! And inside the shop, you can buy Fueki-kun ice cream and soft serve ice cream! It's super cute!!! The ice cream is already inside Fueki-kun, but you can make the soft serve ice cream yourself. Premium matcha (Tokyu Hands exclusive) - 600 yen, Vanilla - 500 yen, Vanilla & Chocolate - 500 yen, Vanilla & Strawberry - 500 yen. There are 4 flavors to choose from, and you can pick a container featuring Fueki-kun, the rabbit that recently made a comeback, or the elephant. Set the ice cream in the machine, hold Fueki-kun, and start! You can choose the speed - fast, normal, or slow. I chose slow because I was scared, and here is the result: Vanilla & Strawberry soft serve ice cream. The soft serve turned out a bit messy. There are 3 seats in the eat-in space with cute Fueki-kun chairs. The soft serve is firm and has a nostalgic taste. You can take the Fueki-kun cup home with you, and they also provide a bag for it. I went to a place where soft serve ice cream was served in cute containers by Fueki. There were five flavors available: vanilla, vanilla & strawberry, vanilla & chocolate, matcha, and a seasonal flavor which was melon in August. You could choose the container for all flavors except matcha and the seasonal one. I wanted a yellow container, so I chose vanilla & chocolate. I thought the staff would serve me, but it was self-serve where I had to put the soft serve into the container myself. I was worried about doing it right, but I managed to do it successfully. I sat on one of the Fueki chairs next to the shop to enjoy my ice cream. There were only three chairs, so I wished there were more, but overall, I was very satisfied with the cute shop. I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.
