[Visit Date: 2016.2.1] Entered the restaurant at 12:50. Dropped by on the way back from Shinjuku. It was my first time seeing it, and it turned out to be a bigger and more splendid hotel than I expected. The 1080 yen buffet, including tax, is only available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so be careful with the dates. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they have a buffet at the hotel's Japanese restaurant, but it's a bit more expensive at 1500 yen. Since it was past the lunch peak time, it was relatively empty. Initially, I felt that there were not many dishes, but that was because many dishes were covered in containers. There was also consideration in serving many dishes warm in heated trays. The pork fillet cutlet with demi-glace sauce was provided through a cooking demonstration. The soft drinks were from a dispenser of commercial drinks, not fresh juice. It was disappointing that there was no espresso machine and only one type of hot coffee. I tried all the dishes except for curry, pumpkin soup, cream puffs, and rolled kelp. The curry had two types, seafood and sausage, but there were hardly any ingredients. [Image 2] Clockwise from the top right: Simmered daikon and beef tendon, Potato gratin, Spanish-style omelette, Piroshki, Oven-baked pork belly, Fried chicken, Pork fillet cutlet with demi-glace sauce and fried potatoes [Image 3] Clockwise from the top right: Pumpkin with sweet chili sauce, Sole meuniere, Salmon sashimi, Steamed salmon with white wine [Image 4] Coffee mousse, Rare cheesecake, Ice cream (vanilla, strawberry) In addition to the above, there were various bread and salads. The top three dishes were the coffee mousse, steamed salmon with white wine, and salmon sashimi. They were all decent but nothing particularly outstanding. However, considering the price, I think it was sufficient. The disappointing part was that the sweets, except for the coffee mousse, were probably not made by the hotel and were not delicious. What was good was the service where the staff did not bother you too much or leave you unattended. The service was impressive, as expected from a hotel restaurant. I personally don't like restaurants that frequently clear plates. Here, they would take them away after stacking a few, which was just right. Overall, I think it's a good choice for those who want to eat a variety of dishes at a reasonable price.
