I ordered the special beef curry and spicy chicken keema combo starting from September 1st for 1,100 yen (tax included). The combo with keema was also 1,100 yen. It felt like a good deal since the usual combo would be priced at the higher amount. Thank you for the delicious meal. Thank you, Goya Club!

For the past few months, I have been eating curry intensively. It's part of my work and I'm in a zone where I am constantly gathering information and inputting it. Among the recommendations I have received, there are a few places that people have insisted I must visit. Hmm... Well, in the end, food and drinks are all about personal preference, so I always think that way.

Green curry with chicken (coconut) for 1,100 yen, limited to 10 servings. Eight-spice beef and pork curry for 1,100 yen. I entered the restaurant after 12:30 and was seated immediately. The person who ordered the "all toppings" option for 2,100 yen was already at the cashier. There is still so much to explore here. Thank you for the delicious meal! Thank you, Goya Club!

[Overall Impression] This place is satisfying for those who have eaten a fair amount of curry and have developed a discerning palate. The concept of the curry is clear and distinctive, so people's preferences will be quite pronounced.
[Cost Performance] The cost performance is quite good. Many menu items are priced at around 1,000 yen. You can opt for a large serving, but even without it, the portion size is generous.
[Atmosphere] The restaurant has a somewhat intense atmosphere, with many male solo diners eating quietly.
[Other/Notes] The restaurant is run by a male manager alone, so you may need to wait until he comes to take your order. If it's your first time, you might feel a bit unsure. Be prepared when ordering spicy dishes.

I went to Kitahama-cho in Osaka and revisited the deliciousness of the super spicy chicken keema curry, so I decided to visit Goyakura, the legendary curry shop founded by Mr. Nishikawa. It had been a while since I last saw him, and he used to be skinny but now he has become muscular. As you age, your muscles weaken and you can't hold a potbelly, so you have to exercise, Mr. Nishikawa said. I see. Pickles. Water is self-service. I had the super spicy chicken keema curry and the mala keema curry side by side. When they were brought out, the presentation wasn't impressive (laughs). Hmm. Still not impressive (laughs). However, the super spicy chicken keema curry lived up to its reputation. The shock of putting ghost peppers in curry. When it was first released, curry enthusiasts everywhere became obsessed with it. The mala keema curry was also quite tasty. It had a similarity to the trendy mapo curry. The double with extra spiciness was the best, with a sharp edge of heat. The double with more mala keema was slightly milder, perfect for a little break. The half-and-half double might just be the most delicious. Gradually making it milder with the mala keema. Resetting the mouth with pickles. The super spicy chicken keema curry, which can now be considered an Osaka specialty. The generosity of sharing recipes for free with numerous curry artisans, including the owner of the Kitahama shop. His kindness shines through.

I visited during the Obon holiday and was prepared to wait in line for a rumored delicious restaurant, but surprisingly I was able to enter right at opening time. I was undecided on what to order, but ended up getting the beef and pork mixed curry. The curry sauce was perfectly balanced on top of the rice. It was a hot day and I was sweating, but the spiciness of the curry was just right and made me feel hungry. I want to try something different next time.

Located in Minami Senba, this curry restaurant is known for being one of the top 100 curry shops in 2019 and 2020. It only operates during the day. The restaurant is on the first floor of an apartment building, and it may be a bit hard to spot from the outside. Look for the Japanese flag as a landmark. I ordered the classic beef curry and the super spicy chicken keema curry. The beef curry had a smooth sauce with a rich beef flavor, while the keema curry had a strong aroma of spices that lingers in your mouth. Mixing the two different types of curry sauce together creates a rich and flavorful curry with added umami and spiciness. On the table, there are pickles of carrots, onions, daikon radish, and cucumbers, which you can use to change the flavor and add acidity, making it easy to finish even if it's spicy.

I ordered the menu "Eight-Spice Beef and Pork with Spicy Miso Sauce" with an additional side of "Paitan GES". I arrived at 12:45 and was able to get in without waiting in line, but unfortunately, the Chicken with Spicy Miso Sauce was sold out. Thank you for the meal! Thank you, Goya Club!

I feel like I read this in the introduction to a curry shop owner (Curry Meets) who established a genre called "Wafu Curry" or abbreviated as "Wale." For first-timers, I think the spicy chicken keema and beef ai-gake are good choices. The basic is the spicy chicken keema ai-gake, what do you choose? I like the paitan the best, but the menu changes so I remember some like beef-pork mixed mara, chicken green curry, beef curry SP, etc., all delicious! It's also a matter of preference. Sometimes there are super spicy meatballs called "Onitama." The best part is that you can take unlimited onions, daikon, and carrots as side dishes. The owner loves fishing!

I was finally able to visit a restaurant that my friend had highly recommended. I heard that it is very spicy. I'm not good with very spicy food, but I was told that it's not just spicy, but incredibly flavorful as well, so I had to give it a try. I had the super spicy chicken keema. The first bite, delicious!!! What an explosive flavor. Huh?? Spicy!!! Spicy!!! The spiciness that lingers on the tongue!!! But it's delicious. It was a strange sensation that lasted. But it's tasty. This is interesting. When I really savored it, I could taste the flavor extracted from the chicken, not just the heat of the habanero peppers, but also a deep spiciness that comes afterwards. The pickles on the side are doing a great job too. Overall, it was a satisfying curry. Now I understand why it's recommended. I would like to go back again. It may be a bit of a wait, but I'll try my best to go back.

First visit! The entrance of the restaurant was a bit hard to find, and I got a little lost. When I pulled the door that I thought might be the entrance, there were a few customers inside, but it was surprisingly quiet. Inside the restaurant, there were about five tables and a counter. The master had quite an atmospheric presence, which might be why it was so quiet. I ordered the special beef curry! It had lots of meat and the spice in the curry was exquisite. The accompanying onions were also delicious! I ended up eating a lot of onions. Next time, I want to try the keema curry.

Special Beef Curry for 1200 yen. It seems to be famous for being spicy, but I chickened out and went for the non-spicy beef curry. The vegetables were melted into a flavorful sauce, leaving the meat to stand out in the curry. It may look simple, but it was delicious. It was unclear from the outside whether it was open or not, but I'm glad I mustered up the courage to go in. Thank you for the meal.

The shop opened around noon, and the shutter opened at 12:10 (lol). There were 13 customers lined up when it opened, and the owner was managing the shop alone. It seemed like they were all regulars, as everyone quickly placed their orders (all of them ordered the half and half curry). It might be intimidating to go alone for the first time. I ordered the half and half curry with spicy soup and keema (my friend ordered the tomato-based keema and spicy soup). The flavor was intense and perfect for those who love spicy curry. The spicy soup was a bit stronger in flavor. Next, I will try the Japanese curry (not traditional Japanese curry).

I finally got to eat the super spicy chicken keema for 700 yen with extra rice for 100 yen, after it was sold out last time I tried to visit. The portion was generous, but I managed to finish it all. The keema went really well with the rice, and the minced chicken was flavorful and spicy. It reminded me of a rich and spicy stew my grandma used to make. The pickles on the table were a nice touch to cleanse the palate. It was spicy but delicious. I'm satisfied! Thank you for the meal!

I was recommended by a friend to go there. I went around 2 pm on a weekday and there was seating available. I was seated right away! The atmosphere of the restaurant was unique and had a lot of character, just like my friend had told me! I ordered the curry with a mix of green and brown. You can adjust the amount of rice if you ask. The curry arrived just a few minutes after ordering. The taste was incredibly delicious! It had a flavor I had never experienced before, you have to try it to understand. I usually eat spicy food, so I didn't find it very spicy, but that didn't take away from the experience at all! I definitely want to go back to this Japanese curry restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the menu item Beef Curry with a side of Paitan for 900 yen. I overheard a conversation between a regular customer and the master about the off-menu item "Onitama," so I decided to order it. They warned me that it was very spicy and suggested I take a small bite first. I tried it, and it was indeed very spicy! I thought "Onitama" meant "Onion's Ball," but it turned out to be meatballs. It was extremely spicy but delicious. I would like to challenge it again next time. Thank you for the meal! Thank you, Goya Club!

I visited around 12:20 on a weekday. It was a bit difficult to find the restaurant inside the building, but I saw people coming out sweating, so I found the place. The dimly lit interior was already full, but I was told they would clean up a table for me, so I was seated. The chef seemed to be handling everything alone, so the service was a bit slow with many customers waiting for their orders. When the chef had a free moment, he would take orders, but it was a bit disorganized as customers had to help keep track of the order in which they arrived. The menu only had about 5 items listed, but most customers chose a combination of two items. I ordered the Chicken Keema Curry and Paitan combination for 900 yen. The side dishes included Fukujinzuke and pickled carrots and onions placed on the table. The food arrived in about 10 minutes after ordering. The appearance of the dishes was not very appealing, almost like staff meals. First, I tried the Keema. It had chunky pieces of meat and a slightly tough texture. It was quite spicy, making my lips tingle. It wasn't really to my taste, so I ended up drinking a lot of water. Next, I tried the Paitan. It had a nice seafood aroma with a Japanese touch. However, the combination with the Keema didn't really match well, so I had to alternate between the two to avoid getting bored. I finished the meal, but I drank a lot of water. It was definitely a sweat-inducing experience. Some might find it addictive, but personally, I didn't feel like trying a different combination. The restaurant seemed to have mixed reviews. Despite being a spicy curry, there was only one woman dining with a couple of men, which was surprising. If you don't mind sweating a lot, then it might be worth a try. What do you think?
