Adjacent to Aeon Mall Tetsugamachi in Sakai City is an elegant brick building that used to be a renovated Italian restaurant called Capricciosa, which was originally a Daisel chemical plant site. I ordered a set with a salad bar, drink bar, and soup bar. I think I'm getting old because my stomach gets full so quickly now. I envy young people who can have multiple refills. The atmosphere was nice, and although the service was a bit lackluster, it was still satisfactory enough for me.

During the Christmas season, we had lunch at the Capricciosa restaurant with red bricks. The salad was buffet style, as well as the drinks. For the main course, you could choose between pasta or pizza. My daughter and I shared a creamy tarako pasta and a Margherita pizza. Both were delicious and juicy.

On weekends, if you go to the Ion in Teppozu in the late afternoon, the lunchtime is already over, so you won't feel like eating anything you see, and you'll end up leaving and heading to the red brick building "Capricciosa". It was a strange time or maybe because it was the weekend, but I found something like a pair set on the menu, which didn't differ much in price from ordering individual items. So, I ordered a Margherita pizza, a pasta with a lot of garlic that I can't remember, a salad bar, a drink bar, and gelato on the side. Arriving at the Ion in Teppozu, I parked my car in the parking lot and headed straight to the gacha corner. The goal was, of course, the SPY×FAMILY gacha. I found it! Anya's father, Anya's mother, Anya's best friend Becky, and 4 other characters. But! I wanted Anya, following Nyun's reviews. I put in 400 yen and started the gacha. First, my husband got Anya's father. Next was me. With a prayer in my heart, I put in 400 yen and turned the gacha. Yay! I got it! I couldn't help but take a picture before eating lunch. I really wanted to take a picture like Nyun, with the pasta and pizza lined up next to each other! I tried a few times while my husband was getting the salad bar or going to the drink bar, but failed. However, I managed to take a picture while the capsule was still in the bag. I only took one picture, but I quickly put it back in my bag when I was asked, "What are you doing?!" When I got home, I lined up the mini car and other collections and took a leisurely photo. I apologize for the delay, but we have quite a few mini cars and mini dolls collected from gachas, stickers from snacks, and toys neatly displayed at home. Now, back to Anya. She's really cute. The cutest. Very satisfied. Oh, the pasta and pizza were just okay. The pasta was overcooked, like thin udon noodles. It was still satisfying.

Capricciosa in Ion Sakai Teppouchou is a well-known pasta chain. The red brick building creates a stylish atmosphere. It is located a little away from the Ion restaurant street and food court. There is a store in the Ion Iron Kettle Town with seven roads. It is located on the first floor of a separate building, not in the restaurant street, but in a historic brick building. It seemed to be less crowded compared to the restaurants in the shopping mall and was usually quiet, but this time it was extremely busy. They offer a reasonable lunch set, and what I particularly like about this store is the salad bar, which is not available in other stores, allowing you to enjoy plenty of vegetables. It was crowded this time, and after writing our names on the waiting board, we waited for about 10 minutes. They offer sets for 2 people, 3 people, and a pasta plate with a salad bar. This time, we chose the pasta lunch set (crab cream pasta) x2 for 2860 yen each, with an extra large option for 110 yen. I love pasta, but this time the presentation was sloppy. The noodles seemed different or were cooked incorrectly, and the sauce tasted completely different from before. We ordered one of the dishes in a larger size, but it was not served as such, and when we asked about it, the staff seemed confused. We also ordered a rice croquette for 760 yen, which was delicious with a tangy tomato flavor. The total bill was 3730 yen. Unfortunately, we didn't see the high-quality staff that used to work here, and we hope that at least the staff can provide basic customer service. It's a shame to see the decline in quality.

This is a typical "Capricciosa" restaurant, but compared to other branches, the exterior here is lovely. Once inside, the high ceiling is the only standout feature, otherwise it's quite ordinary. It's been a while since I had lunch with my daughter. When I said anything was fine, she chose this restaurant because she had never been here before. It was empty probably because it was a weekday. I had clam soup pasta, which had more clams than I expected. But some of them seemed frozen and shell-less, which was off-putting. The taste was just average. I also tried a slice of my daughter's pizza, which was also average. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice though. Thank you for the meal.

Capricciosa, a red brick restaurant in Sakai Shichido and in the Aeon Mall in Tepocho. It used to be a Diesel store. The exterior is very nice. They offer a lunch set with a salad buffet, soup, and drink bar. You can choose your favorite pasta or pizza. In the photo, there is a Japanese-style tarako spaghetti and a Quattro Formaggi pizza. I shared them with a friend. The pizza is quite large. Both dishes were delicious.

On weekdays, parking is free for 4 hours, making it very convenient. Last time I went, there was a long line so I gave up, but today is a weekday so I think it will be empty. The Sicilian-style rice croquette here is so nostalgic. It's been about 30 years since I first ordered it and was surprised. I ordered the Genovese in a regular size and the Eggplant Meat in a sharing size. The sharing size is still incredibly voluminous. The taste is quite good. However, it might be better to make the restroom a little cleaner.

January 2nd! We had some free time so we decided to go to Aeon Tegamachi, which we rarely visit, for the New Year's sales. My husband and I went together and arrived early, so we were able to park easily. We decided to have an early lunch. The food court was crowded, so we opted for the brick building where we could relax. We chose the New Year's special buffet set for 2 people for 3,450 yen (excluding tax), which included a salad, drink, and soup bar. We could choose between a spit and pasta. I chose carbonara for pasta and Capricciosa for pizza for an additional 100 yen. The soup was seaweed soup, which was okay. The salad was beautifully presented. The pasta was creamy and delicious, and the pizza was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The crust was a bit thin, but it was satisfying. We also got a half-price coupon for Margherita pizza, so we'll have to come back before February. Thank you for the meal!

My daughter wanted to go to AEON, so my wife and I went with her. My wife said there's an Italian restaurant near the entrance made of bricks. The door at the entrance was really hard to open, almost like a prank. Inside, the open layout with a high ceiling gave a nice feeling, like a good house. The lunch menu included a drink bar, salad, and soup bar. Since it was too much for three people, we decided to order individual dishes. We ordered the Quattro Formaggi for 1380 yen, which was huge and just right for the three of us. I always order this because I love cheese. The dough was not very fragrant but was chewy and soft. I wish the cheese had a stronger flavor. I like it when it's more pungent. I'm a bit of a weirdo, haha. We also ordered the Tomato and Garlic pasta for 1870 yen, which was a lot. We should have ordered a smaller size. The taste was simple, with normal pasta and tomato sauce similar to what you'd find at Saizeriya. We ate too much. The staff can be hard to flag down depending on where you're seated. The pizza tasted okay, Quattro Formaggi had Gorgonzola which was nice, but I wish there was more cheese. The pasta was okay. The salad bar is good for all-you-can-eat vegetables.

There aren't any nearby. Even though it has a nationwide presence, the number of stores is relatively small. This particular store is housed in a stylish building with a renga structure. The high ceilings and open atmosphere are really nice. I requested a pizza with ham and rocket. It's delicious, but some people don't like herbs, so be sure to check with everyone before ordering. The Quattro Formaggi pizza with gorgonzola, mozzarella, gouda, and tomato is a cheese lover's dream. The thick crust is topped with four types of cheese and finished with fragrant black pepper. It's irresistible to cheese lovers. The steamed chicken with spinach, pine nuts, and peperoncino is a classic dish with a spicy oil sauce, tender chicken, and spinach, topped with fragrant pine nuts for texture. The pasta with squid and tarako in a creamy sauce is light and flavorful, allowing you to taste the texture of the squid and the flavor of the tarako. It was delicious after not having it for a while. There was a salad bar, but the salad was a bit wilted, so it was just okay. Thank you for the meal.

After finishing my overnight shift, I decided to try the Pasta Buffet Lunch set at Capricciosa Pizza & Buffet located on the 1st floor in the Red Brick Plaza. I chose the Tuna and Tomato Spaghetti for the main pasta, and added +100 yen for a large portion. The set includes a salad bar, soup bar, and drink bar. The Pasta Buffet Lunch at Capricciosa Pizza & Buffet is only available during lunchtime, with three options: 1100 yen set, 1200 yen set, and 1300 yen set. You can also add +100 yen for a large portion of pasta.

The COVID-19 measures were in place, and there were various set courses available at reasonable prices. The salad, coffee, and soup were delicious.

On the night of December 20th, I decided to go to Capricciosa after a long time. It was terrible. I have never seen such a terrible restaurant before. The staff ignored me when I tried to call them. They didn't have soup. Even when it finally came out, it was not hot at all, with no steam. I saw the kitchen staff lazily throwing together the dishes. They seemed completely unenthusiastic and unaware that they were being watched in the open kitchen. I wonder if this was just a one-time bad experience... but I will never go back. It was beyond unpleasant.
