Black bean filled "Ikirari Dango". Having black beans in it is rare even in its hometown of Kumamoto! Just the addition of black beans enhances the deliciousness!! Truly, once you start eating this Ikirari Dango, you can't stop~~ No matter how many times I eat it, this Ikirari Dango is always delicious, plus the staff at Hankyu are very friendly and kind! Their service really lifts your mood!

The shop is located in the basement of Hakata Hankyu. I bought a set of classic Japanese sweets. I was indecisive with choices like Kashiwa Mochi, so I bought the assortment set. It included Strawberry Daifuku, Kashiwa Mochi, Kuzumochi, and Ohagi. They were all delicious.

On a regular day around 3 pm. The usual ikedango was sold out, so I bought a black bean daifuku that I've been into lately for 152 yen including tax. It's almost the same price as the convenience store! I'm happy! Inside is my favorite chunky red bean paste. I like it because it has a good bite compared to smooth red bean paste. There is plenty of sweet bean paste packed inside. It has a good volume. And this black bean daifuku, the black beans really stand out. It feels like you're really eating black beans. That's how big the black beans are, adding a nice accent to the mochi. It's so delicious!! Maybe they're particular about black beans here because the black beans in the ikedango are also delicious? The mochi part is chewy and really delicious. I had Seven-Eleven's bean daifuku the day before, but I realized that the one from the store is really delicious! But, of course, Seven's is also delicious!

The steamed dumplings are placed on top of a steamer, so you can buy them in a slightly warm state! The first picture is regular dumplings. The second picture is black bean dumplings. I prefer the black bean ones, even though they are a bit more expensive. I like to eat them right away, so I always buy them at the food court at the end of Hankyu. When it's cold in winter, I want to eat them in an even warmer state, so I warm them up at the free range in the department store basement where there are many shops. They taste even better that way. They look quite hefty and very large! The taste is not too sweet, so you can eat as many as you want. For those with a small appetite, one might be enough. I usually eat two though! I feel like this is the best place to get steamed dumplings!

Located right next to Hakata Station, on the basement floor of Hakata Hankyu Department Store, is a traditional Japanese confectionery shop. The main store seems to be in Yoshizuka. I purchased the "Ikiridango" for 162 yen including tax. It is quite large in size. From my perspective, it has a thick outer layer, a small amount of red bean paste filling, and a significant amount of sweet potato. The sweetness is mild. It is quite filling and will make you feel satisfied.

There is a Japanese confectionery shop at Hakata Hankyu. It is located right near Itokingu. I was tempted by the delicious looking strawberry daifuku and bought one for 184 yen. Next to it, they were selling strawberry daifuku at Itokingu's shop, which made it seem very cheap. The taste is very sweet. The strawberry lacks acidity and is on the sweeter side. It is delicious. They also had black bean daifuku, ohagi, sakura mochi, and kinako ohagi lined up. When I went in the evening, most of them were sold out, so I might try going earlier next time.

When I come to Hankyu, I sometimes stop by. I always buy "Ikinari Dango" here. In addition to the regular type (162 yen), there is also a Hankyu exclusive black bean version (173 yen)! I'm the type who buys limited edition items. There are various places that sell Ikinari Dango, but the first time I tried it was here in Fukuoka, at Kinjo Seika. The size is big, with a thick and generous amount of sweet potato inside. The sweetness of the red bean paste is just right. And it's reasonably priced too! Since then, it has become a staple in our household, perfect for everyday snacks or souvenirs. Today, I bought both the regular type and the black bean version (personally, I prefer the black bean one). They will be my breakfast and snack for tomorrow. I will visit again, thank you for the meal!

My partner who went to Hakata bought delicious ohagi at a traditional Japanese confectionery shop in Hakata Hankyu before and revisited because it was so good. The elderly couple who run the shop seemed to be there last time the wife, this time the husband, and they had a pleasant conversation. They bought ohagi again this time, didn't ask about the price. They will have it as a snack with a highball, the sweet bean paste flavor is exquisite, a mature ohagi. Not suitable for children. It tastes like sweet red bean paste, slightly undercooked but the texture of the rice grains is nice. It's delicious, my partner, please get it again.

I have purchased from this shop several times. The main store is located in Yoshizuka, but they also have a shop in the basement of Hakata Hankyu department store, where I made my first purchase. This shop is perfect for buying reasonably priced Japanese sweets to enjoy at home, rather than as souvenirs. However, the taste is top-notch, with a variety of delicious traditional Japanese sweets such as dango, daifuku, manju, and mitarashi dango. This time, I was intrigued by the 100 yen strawberry daifuku without strawberries, so I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a pink daifuku with red bean paste inside. They assured me it would still be soft the next day, but I tried it immediately. It was incredibly soft and chewy, with plenty of red bean paste that was just the right amount of sweetness. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this shop.

I went to Hakata for a business trip! After finishing everything, I had a craving for dango for the past few days, so I searched and found a traditional Japanese confectionery shop that has been around since 1952, and decided to visit (*´∇`*). I quickly decided to buy mitarashi dango, but I also became interested in fu manju and started browsing (lol). Finally, I bought chilled dango coated with sweet bean paste for 150 yen eachヾ(o≧∀≦o)ノ゙. I think there were about 3 times the usual amount of dango in one stick (≧∀≦). It was delicious! (≧▽≦) It was so good and satisfying! The sweetness of the sweet bean paste on the chilled dango was just right and amazing! I went there for the dango, so I am completely satisfied haha. Next time, I plan to try other traditional Japanese sweets like fu manju and kashiwa mochi (#^.^#). Thank you for the meal!

I was planning to buy my first "ikinari dango" at the Hakata Imokko-ya, but I came across this shop and the lady there was very nice. The price was around 140 yen, so I decided to buy it here instead. They also sell freshly made round mochi during the New Year holidays, which caught my interest. The dango had a slightly sweet taste with a big slice of sweet potato and red bean paste wrapped in the dough. It was not too sweet and tasted delicious. This "ikinari dango" uses not only wheat flour but also mochi flour, so it doesn't become hard even when it cools down. I actually ate it cold without heating it up on the day I bought it, and it was still soft and tasty.

I bought two ohagi. I have been wanting to eat ohagi for a while, so when I saw them at Hankyu today, I thought I should buy them. Normally, there are a lot of ohagi at the supermarket, but I can't finish them by myself, so I rarely buy them. I finally ate them today and they were delicious as usual.

Is it not the same thing? Giving love and attention. A passage from the movie "Lady Bird." The fluctuating emotions of a sensitive 17-year-old girl. The struggle of not being able to understand the other person. Moments when you can feel your own growth. Longing for somewhere other than here, watching a youth movie can make you feel fresh and youthful again. Today, I visited "Kaneshiro Seika Hakata Hankyu Store" (1-1 Hakata Ekimae, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City). On the way back from Hakata Station, I browsed for souvenirs at the B1F of Hakata Hankyu. Let's go with "Kaneshiro Seika," which offers reasonably priced Japanese sweets. - Strawberry Daifuku (162 yen) I have bought dango before. The soybean daifuku also looks good, but let's try the strawberry daifuku. The chewy texture of the mochi wrapped around the fresh and tangy strawberry, with the grainy red bean paste, is a perfect match. It has a satisfying texture. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. The road ahead is to persevere, sneakily end, and have no regrets.

My partner bought some "hanjyoro" from Hakata during the approaching equinoctial week. This time, it had a strong red bean flavor with a slightly sweet red bean paste. As always, the "hanjyoro" from here is delicious.

Sakura mochi is very delicious. And it's very reasonable. I told my sister about it, and she also got hooked. It has a refined taste and a budget-friendly price.
