I visited the restaurant in the evening on a weekday! The interior had counter seats, table seats, and tatami seats, and it was spacious with tables on the second floor as well. It seems to be a location for the movie "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas," so I recommend trying the specialty yakitori "shiro." The yakitori dipped in Hanayama's special yuzu broth is irresistible! After filling up, the Fukuoka-style ramen as a finisher is great. The noodles are slightly thicker than others, with a firm texture that is delicious. The ramen has a soup without any unpleasant smell, and they don't use chemical seasonings, which might be recommended for those conscious of their health. I couldn't drink alcohol this time because I came by car, but the soft drinks were satisfying with generous portions. Next time, I'll come to drink a lot of alcohol! The son of the famous chef is a classmate from high school, and we spent time together in the soccer club. Please consider visiting when you are nearby. Menu items include a 7-piece yakitori set (including "shiro"), tonkotsu ramen (extra firm), extra noodles (firm), and two Coca-Colas. I hope this information is helpful. I appreciate your support with likes and follows. I will continue to share local information, so please stay tuned. Thank you!

This year has come again - Hoosekai. When it comes to Hoosekai, there are many food stalls, but for me, Hoosekai equals Hanayama. Since I was about 4 or 5 years old, I always went to Hanayama at Hoosekai. In my childhood, while my parents drank at Hanayama, they always told me to come back to Hanayama if I got lost. The must-try at Hanayama is, of course, the shiro yakitori. There are many yakitori restaurants in Fukuoka, including shiro, but the shiro at Hanayama is truly one of a kind. I love it so much that I can eat as many skewers as I want! The crowd when it became the setting for a movie was incredible.

During the Fuso Night at Hozaki Shrine, a popular festival, the expanded shop was bustling with customers. I ordered a ramen and yakitori set, which was served promptly despite the crowded tables. The ramen and soup were typical tonkotsu ramen, similar to stick ramen. The yakitori was teriyaki style. They accept payment through PayPay.

After the long-awaited post-COVID festival, I attended a festival for the first time in 10 years. It was very crowded, making it quite a challenge to make my way to the shrine. Afterwards, I went to the usual street food stall and had yakitori with a drink. Despite being full, I tried a variety of dishes. I also bought yakisoba and grilled eel to enjoy at home with a drink. It was a fun experience.

When I stopped by Fukuoka during my Kyushu trip, I visited this restaurant that was featured in "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas." I went around 3 pm and it was relatively empty, with 3 groups of young women and 2 couples. I ordered the "shiro" skewers that were shown in the movie, ramen, and a few other skewers. It was a good place for a casual drink. But if asked if I would go again, I'd say "maybe..."

I was taken to this restaurant by relatives who live in Fukuoka! They recommended this place in Hakata as a hidden gem, especially when the food stalls in Tenjin are crowded. The yakitori was easy to eat and had a rich flavor, very delicious. They also had a special sauce for the yakitori, but it was already tasty even without it. They are known for their smoked dishes, and the smoked cheese was delicious! The sausages were also tasty. The enoki mushroom rolls were delicious too, with a hint of sweetness from the enoki. Finally, I ordered the ramen, which I had been looking forward to! It was tonkotsu ramen, but it was surprisingly light. Even after eating quite a bit of yakitori, I still had room for more because everything was so delicious! It was a perfect street food meal!! When I visit Fukuoka again, I will definitely bring my friends along!!

Just past noon on Saturday. After visiting Hakozaki Shrine, I decided to have a light ramen before heading home since the shop was open. Many people here prefer to drink even during lunchtime. There are tourists, locals, and even those who are just here for a meal. It's a good lunch menu that caters to all these types of customers. The Chashu rice and ramen set costs 900 yen. The Chashu has a strong sweet flavor, very tasty. The rice goes well with it. The ramen here is excellent, no need to say. It's a simple and delicious taste that has been around for a long time. The noodles are slightly thicker than elsewhere, and the soup has a smooth texture. In the past, you could only eat it at night, but now you can enjoy it for lunch as well.

Today was the first payday for our part-time staff! To celebrate our hard work over the past month, we came to Hanayama's restaurant! The part-timer's husband also joined us, so the three of us had a little party together. The atmosphere at the yakitori place was great! The ramen was... haha. Thank you for the meal!

After leaving the Suzaki Kyutaro store, we decided to stop by and have some ramen on the way home! Even though I had already drunk too much beer and was full, everyone seemed to have their engines revved up after just one place. I didn't manage to take any photos of the food, but for the record... They kept eating and drinking, and it seemed like there was still room in their stomachs... It was amazing. Ramen, beer, yakitori, and various snacks were ordered one after another... I wonder how much everyone can eat. A few people even had ramen as their final dish... Huh?? Didn't we just have ramen earlier? (laughs) With full stomachs, we left the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

Visited for the first time with a friend!! This popular restaurant is always crowded with tourists. We ordered oden and cheers with beer! It's been a while since I ate a meal while drinking, so I got drunk quickly. We enjoyed various dishes like yakitori, and finished with ramen!! Thank you for the meal!

If you're from Hakata, you must have visited the shop "Hanayama" at least once. It's a popular spot for tourists too. Start with a beer and cheers! Order some oden, it's delicious! The beef tendon was a bit tough though, haha. The yakitori is also good. Finish off with some ramen, it's amazing!

Fukuoka City Subway Kaizuka Line "Hakozaki-gu-mae Station" is a 3-minute walk from Exit 1. It's about 272m from Hakozaki-gu-mae Station. This is a food stall that I've been taken to by my dad and his friends since I was a kid. In the past, it was a normal food stall with a slightly dirty image due to the dirt floor. Now, it's like a clean building with a food stall inside. There are not only counters but also tatami mats and tables. The yakitori is still delicious. I especially like the white one. The yakitori is cooked just right with a good amount of salt. Alcohol keeps flowing. The ramen at the end is just right for finishing with a good soup, but the noodles are a bit thick and not to my liking.

The restaurant was very crowded, with all seats taken and people waiting. Unfortunately, the popular sticky taro dish was sold out, so I ordered tamago, thick fried tofu, and vegetable tempura. I started drinking at a corner table and enjoyed some delicious boiled peanuts. I finished with a bowl of ramen, and the noodles were so good that I could even drink the soup.

Originally, it was a food stall, but now the stall is stored inside the building. They have maintained the atmosphere of the stall while also providing a comfortable sitting area, protected from the wind and rain. I visited after a long time and found that the opening hours have been extended, with the place now open from noon on weekends. On a day when I missed lunch, I had ramen and hot sake around 4 pm, and I also bought 15 skewers of yakitori (various parts like belly, skin, white meat, liver, thigh) to use as dinner side dishes for my family. Even at an early hour, the place was crowded. The master seemed very busy. He is a cool middle-aged man, and his son is handsome too. They were so busy that I hesitated to greet them, but they spotted me eventually (laughs) (I was spotted by a part-time staff as soon as I entered, so it was only a matter of time...) The ramen was still delicious as always, with a gentle pork bone broth that wasn't too heavy. The yakitori was grilled over charcoal, giving it a delicious smoky flavor. I will definitely visit again.

When I went to "Hanayama" after a long time, the interior of the restaurant had changed a lot. I was planning to eat edamame, yakitori, drink draft beer, eat oden, eat gyutan, drink highball, eat ramen for the finale and go home, but the dishes I ordered didn't come and the refill drinks took too long, so I ended up just eating edamame and yakitori and leaving. I wonder when it became like this. I didn't feel like eating ramen. I hope it will be better next time.

I only have memories of the old food stalls... but when I visited after a long time, I found that the original food stall had been transformed into a restaurant with table seating and a raised platform in the back! There is even a terrace seating area on the second floor! Everything looks very beautiful now. I enjoyed chicken skin with ponzu sauce, grilled chicken, oden, and roasted pork with potato shochu. Since they don't offer bottle keep service, we finished the bottle we ordered. The grilled chicken was delicious, and the additive-free ramen was also tasty. When visiting Hakozaki Shrine, be sure to stop by this restaurant.

I visited a historic famous restaurant at the beginning of the new year. It was a bit disappointing that they had a new year menu, but it's a popular place so it can't be helped. They have tatami seating and I saw families with young children enjoying ramen and yakitori. It's nice that you can snack on self-service oden while waiting for the yakitori. The ramen at the end was simple and delicious.

I visited this place after a long time and I was impressed! It has a nice atmosphere that feels like a mix between a food stall and a restaurant. The best part is that you can grill your yakitori on a shichirin right in front of you. My boyfriend liked the enoki mushroom rolls and I enjoyed the yam roll. The yakitori and drinks are not super cheap, so it might be a good choice for a second stop. The restroom was surprisingly clean, making it convenient to use.

It was a yakitori stall that I suddenly noticed had already become a well-established and delicious yakitori place by the time I realized it. The atmosphere of the stall was very charming, but later, as the area was developed and cleaned up, a shop with the same name appeared in the place where the stall used to be. The shop has a similar atmosphere with a counter that surrounds it, giving a nostalgic feel of the old stall. Thanks to evolving from a stall to a fixed shop, it seems to be open for business even in the daytime, becoming a place where middle-aged men can enjoy drinking from daytime. I decided to try the ramen at this delicious shop after drinking, and I came around 4:30 pm on a weekday. By 4:30 pm, several groups of middle-aged men were already happily drinking. I ordered the ramen. It had a creamy tonkotsu soup with a light and smooth taste. The noodles had a chewy texture, and were slightly rough. It was topped with seaweed and wood ear mushrooms, which added a nice touch. The chashu had a traditional taste and was a good size. The soup was light, making it easy to slurp up. However, I felt like something was missing. Perhaps it is best enjoyed as a finishing ramen after eating yakitori or oden and drinking alcohol, following the proper etiquette rather than eating it suddenly. Also, the bowl is very shallow. I'm not sure, but this may also be a special bowl for finishing ramen.

Second visit. This time, after visiting Hakozaki Shrine with a friend. We sat at the counter seat at the edge where we could overlook the whole place. We ordered everything we liked from last time! It goes without saying that the food was delicious, but what really impressed us was that they brought the skewers already divided for each of us. Normally they just bring a big plate and you have to divide it yourself, right? But this time, each skewer was already separated for us. It was the first time I experienced something like this! It's a great restaurant! We enjoyed everything, including the ramen at the end! We will definitely come back!

No matter how many times I go, this food stall is always warm, lively, and full of smiles. The famous Shiro, made even more popular by a certain movie, is fluffy and delicious. My recommendation is the Kawakun (smoked chicken skin) - the crispy skin with a smoky aroma is irresistible! Every item on the menu pairs perfectly with alcohol! The owner works energetically until late at night every day, and all the staff are really cheerful. Despite being a popular spot, they remember your face and chat with you in a friendly manner. Many first-time tourists visit, but there are also a lot of regular customers. It's a place where everyone drinks and has a good time together. It feels like a warm and welcoming home for everyone. It's no wonder so many people gather here. Everyone's home - Hanayama.
