The Tenshio Ramen for 880 yen with a half portion set for an additional 280 yen was not bad. The soup was good, but the noodles were disappointing. They were not chewy or slippery, and didn't meet the standard of a ramen shop. The fried rice tasted like frozen grilled rice balls, with a crispy texture coated in oil. It was tasty in its own way, but not what I expected from the restaurant's fried rice. The service was fine, but I probably won't go back.

Before dinner, I enjoyed three types of beer at Sapporo Draft Beer Black Label THE BAR on the 1st floor of Yodobashi Camera in Osaka, Kita-ku, Ofukamachi. Then I had ramen. The total bill was 2,730 yen. I ordered Tsukemen for 950 yen, Charred Miso Ramen for 980 yen, and two orders of Gyoza Set for 400 yen each. The Tsukemen had thick noodles and was chicken-based. The Miso Ramen was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

The miso ramen with spicy toppings like hawk's claw is priced at 980 yen. The Tianjin fried rice set can be added for an extra 330 yen. The miso ramen is packed with spicy stir-fried beef, daikon, and sliced konjac, giving it a substantial side dish feel. The Tianjin fried rice side dish is also incredibly delicious, with the fried rice being a delightful change from plain white rice. The thickened sauce with chicken broth seasoning and the soft, jiggly egg are just to my liking. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this set!

On Saturday, July 8, 2023, I visited "Ocharan-ya Yodobashi Store" in Umeda for a tsukemen (dipping noodles) tour. I entered the restaurant at 5:20 PM and found a few empty seats inside, so I was able to get in without waiting. The restaurant is located on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Umeda. I had tried to visit last Saturday around 11-12 PM, but the restaurant was full and there were nearly 15 people waiting outside, so I had to give up. Tonight, I was lucky to find an opening. I stayed for about 40 minutes, and when I left, the restaurant was full and there were more than 10 people waiting outside. It's very popular. I ordered the tsukemen (dipping noodles) in large size for ¥1,050. I wanted to have rice as well, but it was sold out, so I just had the tsukemen. They also had fried rice, but I usually don't order that. The flavor was a rich and creamy sauce that brought out the umami of the pork, with a strong and salty taste similar to shio (salt-based) ramen. It had a standard flavor like shirotan (clear broth) noodles. I was satisfied with the portion size. Compared to other places I visited like Tamagoro and Monjiro, the noodles fell a bit short in terms of flavor, but there was nothing bad about it, so I would give it a 5-star rating. The restaurant offers a wide range of menu items, including not only tsukemen but also hiyashi tsukemen (cold dipping noodles), ramen, fried rice, gyoza, and more, similar to Osho, and it is very popular.

I stopped by on my way back and I think it was my first visit. I ordered the tsukemen, which I found a bit salty but still relatively light. It had a simple taste. The person I went with had the soy sauce tonkotsu ramen with an egg topping. It didn't seem to have a strong impact.

I'm not sure where this ramen shop originated, but I was intrigued by the interesting menu item called "hiya hiya tsukemen" inside Yodobashi Camera, so I decided to visit. I ordered the refreshing Japanese-style sauce half portion set. I also tried the special salt ramen and Tianjin fried rice set. The tsukemen had cold noodles with a cold dipping sauce, as the name suggests. The special ramen had a good soup but the noodles were just okay. The fried rice and fried chicken were decent. Overall, I think this kind of ramen shop in a commercial facility caters to a wide range of customers, so having a more standard taste is just right.

On a day off at lunchtime. People have returned to Yodobashi! The sight of everywhere being crowded at lunchtime feels nostalgic these days. I went to a ramen shop where you can eat quickly. The staff's service was good, and it was a nice restaurant. The taste was like, it's expected when it's a tenant-in type of place, right? Thank you for the meal ^_^

Visit date and time: October 18, 2021, 15:20 Osaka food tour, 3rd stop, ramen shop "Ocharanya" at Yodobashi Camera store. After lunch with a companion, feeling a bit hungry, we decided to stop by here. Located on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Umeda, in the gourmet area. Ordered the "Seiryu Ramen". The shop seems to focus on tonkotsu ramen, but this one is a soy sauce flavor with dashi broth. - Food Taste: 3.1 The "Seiryu Ramen" comes with 4 slices of chashu and green onions. Simple. The noodles have a slight wave and a slightly chewy texture. The soup is made with whole chicken, light soy sauce flavor, lacking in depth. The chashu is thin but satisfying with 4 slices, although some parts were a bit chewy. It's decent, like ramen you would get at a Chinese restaurant. Consistent. - Service: 3.1 The staff provided typical polite service. - Atmosphere: 3.2 The interior has a chain restaurant vibe, with a clean wooden design. Background music playing oldies like Eurythmics' "There Must Be An Angel" at a high volume. About 5 customers were there before us, and 1 after. Comfortable for solo diners. - Cost Performance: 3.1 The "Seiryu Ramen" costs 780 yen. The variety of ingredients is limited, but the number of chashu slices is decent. It's a simple ramen, so the price is fair. - Drinks: Data not available. Overall, it lacks a special touch but is practical and convenient.

I visited during lunchtime. I ordered the tsukemen (large size) and half-chan ramen with fried chicken set. First, crispy fried chicken and flavorful fried rice arrived, and I couldn't wait for the tsukemen. When the tsukemen arrived, I couldn't resist and quickly slurped up the cold noodles dipped in the hot, rich soup. The pork bone broth flavor spread smoothly through the slippery noodles. The rare pork chashu matched well with the soup, and the soft-boiled egg was deliciously creamy. They even lowered the chair smoothly for my baby stroller, which was a nice gesture!

Today I came to Yodobashi in Umeda, so I decided to visit this place. I ordered the Ten'en Ramen with a side of Tianjin-style fried rice. It looks delicious. First, I took a sip of the soup... Mmm, it's tasty! The Tianjin-style fried rice has a fluffy egg on top and the inside is fried rice. The salty sauce is just right. I finished everything in no time. It was a delicious meal. Next time, I think I'll try the cold dipping noodles. ( ^ω^ )

I had the large serving of tsukemen for 1000 yen. Previously, you could get a large serving for the same price, but now it's essentially a price increase. On top of that, instead of the thick slices of chashu that used to come in the dipping sauce, there were only two thin slices of chashu as shown in the picture. Very disappointing!!

Tonight's dinner was at Ocharan-ya, a pork bone ramen specialty shop (lol). As you can see from the menu, they offer various flavors such as salt, soy sauce, miso, tantan, rock salt, chicken broth, and seafood. I tried the safe option of soy sauce pork bone ramen. The taste was strangely like sauce. It seemed like a war between soy sauce and pork bone soup resulted in a sauce-like flavor. It wasn't tasty. It felt like a blasphemy against food. The soy sauce didn't mix with the tonkotsu but floated like spots, making it look like a panda. I thought maybe they aimed for Instagrammable ramen, disregarding the taste. If they're going to do it anyway, I think it would be better to make the soup pink or yellow to stand out.

At noon in Umeda, I had lunch at "Ocharan-ya Yodobashi Camera Store" in Yodobashi Umeda, LINKS UMEDA 8th floor. I arrived at exactly 12 o'clock and there were 8 customers already there. I checked the menu and ordered the half set, with the option to customize the ramen. I chose the "Ten-shio Ramen" with pork bone salt base, which came with chashu, bean sprouts, and green onions as toppings. The noodles were medium-thick and had a smooth texture. The broth was a blend of pork bone base and Japanese-style dashi (kombu, bonito flakes, mackerel flakes, and sardine flakes) with a salty flavor. It was piping hot, but the pork bone smell was a bit off-putting, and the seafood flavor was lacking, making it not very delicious. I added a lot of black pepper from the table seasoning, which helped mask the pork bone smell and added some punch to the taste. The menu mentioned a "savory flavor using the richness of 'tamayu'," but I didn't really taste the richness. The rice in the half set was slightly firm and not too oily, with a slightly bland seasoning. Table seasonings included black pepper and chili oil, and there was also hand sanitizer available. The restaurant had 8 counter seats and 13 tables for 2-4 people each, managed by 2 staff members. It took over 20 minutes from ordering to serving, indicating a lack of efficiency in their operations. Both the taste and service were mediocre, unfortunately making it the lowest-rated experience of the year.

I stopped by after shopping at Yodobashi Camera. I ordered something called "O-Murasaki Ramen," but when I said "O-Murasaki Ramen," I was told, "Oh, you mean O-Mura Ramen." It was a simple conversation, but I wished they had put furigana for the special reading. While waiting for my order, I felt a bit complicated. (Looking at the photos on Tabelog, do they put furigana now?) The taste was satisfying, and I enjoyed it for dinner. What I appreciated was that they provided ethanol at each seat. They had already disinfected upon entering, but their consideration of placing ethanol even at the single counter seats made me feel at ease while dining. I often visit Yodobashi Camera, so I think I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I wandered around the food court on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Camera in Umeda and decided to have a meal by myself. I ordered a draft beer set which came with 3 dumplings, 2 pieces of fried chicken, stir-fried greens, complimentary bamboo shoots, kimchi, and a glass of draft beer. The dumplings were okay, but the fried chicken was hot and delicious. Instead of the popular Hagama-style pork bone ramen, I chose the light chicken and bonito broth with sardine flakes called Seiryu Ramen. I added extra pork slices and a seasoned soft-boiled egg for 1000 yen. The broth was decent, not particularly outstanding, but not bad either. The pork slices were thin and the noodles were a bit disappointing - lacking in texture and wheat fragrance. The soft-boiled egg, however, was perfectly cooked. Surprisingly, the kimchi and bamboo shoots were delicious. Overall, it was a decent meal.

"Ramen Ocharanya" is located on the 8th floor of Links Umeda in Osaka. The interior of the restaurant looks like this: - Tonkotsu Ramen Oshira Ramen: 780 yen - Ten Shio Ramen: 780 yen - Seafood Tonkotsu Ramen: 800 yen - Tantanmen: 930 yen - Roasted Miso Ramen: 900 yen - Light Ramen Seiryu Ramen: 750 yen - Special Seiryu Ramen: 1,000 yen - Hakuhou Ramen: 750 yen - Tsukemen: 900 yen - Ramen with grilled chicken and pork bone soup, Miso Butter Corn: 930 yen - Taiwanese Ramen: 900 yen They also have an all-you-can-eat Menma and Kimchi bar, which is a great service. The Roasted Miso Ramen is moist with thin slices of chashu and beef tripe. The soup has a slightly spicy taste that goes well with the pork bone base and burnt miso. It has a hint of sake lees flavor that makes it addictively delicious. The medium-thick straight noodles are perfectly cooked, not too firm or too soft, with a delicious wheat flavor and smooth texture that makes you want to keep eating."

After visiting Links Umeda, I took the elevator to the 8th floor gourmet zone because I wanted to eat noodles. I was thinking about udon, but maybe ramen would be better. I went to Ocharan, a ramen restaurant. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm. I ordered the Ten Salt Ramen for 780 yen. While waiting for the ramen, I ate some kimchi and menma that were freely available. I was planning to just have the ramen, but ended up ordering a beer (medium) for 550 yen as well. The kimchi and menma were light but delicious. Just as I finished eating, the Ten Salt Ramen arrived. The moment the ramen arrived, I could smell the tonkotsu flavor. However, when I tasted it, it was actually a light ramen with a hint of saltiness. It was delicious with a good texture of noodles. The chashu was very tender and tasty as well. Perhaps because the restaurant is located above Yodobashi Camera, there were many foreign customers and the staff were serving them in English. They seemed to be enjoying Japanese ramen. Looking at other reviews, opinions are divided, but personally, I like this kind of ramen. It may not be satisfying for those who prefer rich or strong-flavored ramen. I would like to try different flavored ramen as well. Thank you for the meal.

Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Umeda is connected to LINKS UMEDA, a complex commercial facility that opened on November 16th (Saturday). On the last day of the New Year holiday, when things were starting to calm down, I went out for shopping. For lunch, my partner wanted to eat ramen, so we wandered around the 8th-floor restaurant floor and ended up at this place, Ramen Ocharan-ya. Looking at the showcase, I couldn't decide what to eat – ramen, half-fried rice with gyoza or karaage set for a reasonable price of 1,080 yen including tax. It's affiliated with Araumado in Umeda 1st Street, so the style and service are quite similar. They also have a free condiment bar. The menma and kimchi menma were delicious. I ordered the roasted miso ramen for 900 yen including tax. The soup had a rich miso flavor with chopped red chili peppers adding a spicy accent. It came with simmered daikon and meat on a ladle. The noodles were medium-thick and smooth. The chashu was a chewy and meaty type. It was delicious to eat with white negi or add kimchi. My partner had the seafood tonkotsu ramen for 800 yen including tax. He seemed to prefer the roasted miso ramen. Next time, I'll try the tantanmen. Thank you for the meal.

Ramen Ocharanya Yodobashi Camera Store (Links Umeda 8F) [Tsukemen] ¥900 ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ Genre: Tsukemen Soup: Tonkotsu / Noodles: Medium Straight This restaurant was reopened on November 16th and is a branch of Kumagoro Co., Ltd., so I visited on the same day! This is my second visit since December 2016. Other noodle menu options include Oshiramen (¥780), Special Oshiramen (¥1030), Ten Shio Ramen (¥780), Special Ten Shio Ramen (¥1030), Fish and Tonkotsu Ramen (¥800), Tantanmen (¥930), Roasted Miso Ramen (¥900), Seiryu Ramen (¥750), Special Seiryu Ramen (¥1000), Hakuhaku Ramen (¥750), Special Hakuhaku Ramen (¥1000), Tsukemen (Large ¥1000 / Special ¥1050), Miso Butter Corn (¥930), Taiwan Ramen (¥900), Kaedama (+¥150). The noodles for the tsukemen are the same house-made noodles used by Kumagoro Co., Ltd., and I liked them before, so this time I decided to try the tsukemen. The noodles are medium straight, house-made noodles. They have a smooth texture, good throat feel, strong elasticity, and a rich flavor with a delicious taste! The dipping sauce is soy sauce-based with a tonkotsu base. It has a rich mouthfeel, almost no oil on the surface, well-emulsified, and a thick body with medium to high viscosity. It is roughly filtered, so there is a noticeable roughness in the mouthfeel. It has a wild tonkotsu smell that stimulates the appetite, but the umami does not accompany the strong aroma. The salt concentration is slightly low, so the flavor lacks sharpness and definition. When you sprinkle garlic powder from the table, the flavor becomes clear and delicious with the garlic aroma and a hint of saltiness. However, be careful not to put too much. The chashu... Wait, I can't find it in the dipping sauce with my chopsticks. After informing the staff that it was missing, they brought it separately. It includes 3 slices of pork thigh and 3 pieces of pork shoulder. The sliced pork has a moderately firm and soft texture with a slightly light seasoning, and a light meat umami is felt. The block of pork shoulder has a strong and chewy texture when bitten into. It is medium seasoned, and the juicy meat umami is well felt and delicious! The seasoned egg comes with one half-boiled egg, with a medium seasoning. The rich taste of the reddish yolk is slightly strong and delicious. Other toppings include green onions and komatsuna. Additionally, there is free kimchi and menma at the service corner. The restaurant has a total of 56 seats with counter and table seating. It is located on the 8th floor of the restaurant floor of the commercial facility "Links Umeda" that opened at Yodobashi Camera Umeda Store on the same day. I was expecting some major changes due to the reopening, but I didn't notice any significant changes. What particularly bothered me this time was the loud private conversations of the staff. It was quite annoying and unpleasant to hear, especially since I was sitting at a table where it was clearly audible. Also, when I pointed out that the chashu was missing, the response was somewhat indifferent, with a half-hearted smile. As a major chain in the industry, they should not take such a nonchalant attitude. There are also plans for other stores to be renovated in this facility, so I hope they will not just be in name only like this one.
