This is a Chapche restaurant located in a side street just off Koreatown. It is a popular spot to buy Chapche and other Korean dishes like Kimchi, cucumber, eggplant, baby octopus, and spicy cod roe. The spicy cod roe is perfect as a side dish with drinks. They also have Cho-jang, a Korean chili vinegar miso sauce that goes well with octopus and squid. They serve a Korean-style squid sashimi dish called Ikafé, which is mixed with Cho-jang. You can also dine in at the restaurant, where they have two tables with red gingham check tablecloths. The prices for Chapche are 500 yen for a large portion and 300 yen for a small portion.

I had some errands in Tsuruhashi and decided to stop by Koreatown on my way back. I was surprised by the large crowd of people there. Maybe everyone is trying to experience a taste of being overseas since they can't travel right now. I was looking to buy something for dinner on my way home, but couldn't find anything that caught my eye. As I was wandering around, I stumbled upon a shop a little off the main street called "Harusame-ya". I was sure their glass noodles would be delicious! So, I decided to buy the small size of Chapchae for 300 yen. When I got home and tried it for dinner, it was quite delicious! The glass noodles were chewy and the seasoning was just right. It was light yet packed with flavor!! The amount of ingredients was also well-balanced. Even though the small size was enough for two people, it was so light that I could easily finish the large size too. The staff at the shop were extremely kind, patiently explaining the different options to customers who were having trouble deciding what to buy. It's a great shop. From now on, I'll be buying Chapchae from here. Thank you for the meal.

The tanmyeon was thin and the taste was light, but delicious.
