They had flavors like lemon, strawberry, etc., but I chose the classic plain butter sand. The cookies are thick and sandwiched with butter cream and butter caramel. The crispy cookie combined with the creamy filling is delicious. The shop had a calm atmosphere despite the many shops lined up in the hallway, and the products were beautifully displayed like exhibits. I felt like having this sweet treat with a cup of coffee!

At Fukuoka Airport, there are lots of souvenirs with many additives, so I decided to skip them and found this place called "Press Butter Sand" which I have bought from a few times at Tokyo Station. There is a Kyushu limited edition with Amaou strawberry flavor. The "Press Butter Sand" includes 5 pieces for 1,296 yen. It has a firm cookie dough with whipped butter and caramel inside. I wonder if the caramel is flavored with Amaou strawberry. I have decided not to say anything negative like normal ones are better.
