Nankai Namba Station North Exit, about a 3-4 minute walk to the east. Upon entering the shop, we were seated at the counter. We toasted with a Chicken Tail Highball, made with natural fruit juice Hebes. We started with a three-cup vinegar dish of daikon and moroheiya. For appetizers, we had quail eggs, grilled white onions pickles, and salted fried chicken thighs. The quail eggs and grilled white onions pickles were refreshing. The fried chicken thighs had a crispy coating and juicy inside. We squeezed lemon over them. We paired the fried chicken with a highball. Next, we had a mixed plate of three types of grilled chicken: seseri (salt), parent bird bonjiri (salt), and chicken belly meat (salt). We paired the grilled chicken with a highball with yam pepper, which complemented the flavors well. We added more grilled chicken: negima (salt), Yamato chicken thigh with skin, heart (salt), special tsukune (sauce), zuri (salt), kinkan (sauce), pre-egg bonpeita (salt). We paired the additional grilled chicken with shochu. It was great to enjoy grilled chicken and drinks during the day. I look forward to visiting again at night for more food and drinks. Visited for a casual drink at 5:00 pm. Had made a reservation about two weeks ago, but it seems that same-day phone reservations are also possible. The food and drinks were very delicious. The prices are not cheap, but they are reasonable for an izakaya. The yakitori, in particular, was delicious. Although you can't choose the salt sauce, the selection made by the restaurant was good and both options were juicy and flavorful. I would like to visit again.

When you come here, you can enjoy yakitori, ramen, and rice bowls. The yakitori is cooked perfectly, especially the chicken breast, which is served with salt for the first round and sauce for the second round. For the finishing touch, I ordered ramen, which was light and perfect. They also had my favorite tomato sour drink, so I left very satisfied. I will definitely come back.

Osaka is known for having a lot of delicious yakitori. So, for the second stop on our Namba bar hopping, we visited a place around 7:30 PM. It was just the two of us, but we were able to get in easily. However, there were no seats available behind us as it was full. The chicken was juicy and delicious.

I was always curious about this restaurant because the street in front of it is always crowded and it's hard to get a reservation. I made a reservation a month in advance for this day. Naturally, I had high expectations. Inside the restaurant, there were many young staff members, which was surprising. However, they weren't very attentive considering the number of people. The prices of drinks were high, especially the beer. The menu had fewer options than I expected, so I ordered a set of five types of sashimi and skewers. The sashimi and skewers were delicious, especially the tender chicken breast and half-cooked quail eggs. I also ordered other skewers, but I didn't take photos. The taste of all the dishes was good, but I wouldn't say it's worth making a reservation a month in advance for this restaurant. It's just slightly above average in terms of taste. I honestly don't understand why it's so highly rated and popular. I think visiting once is enough, and I don't particularly recommend revisiting.

Namban's popular restaurant Torizuke is always bustling with many customers. It's often fully booked or crowded, but when I stopped by on this day, luckily there was an available counter seat! Once inside, I enjoyed a highball to quench my thirst and started with the must-have "momochan yaki tataki" and "Iburi Gakko." The crispy skin and juicy texture of the momochan meat were delicious, and the fragrant and crunchy Iburi Gakko paired perfectly with drinks. I also tried several other grilled dishes, all cooked to perfection and so tasty. The sake was also a great match for the yakitori. Normally, I just nibble here and there, but this time I indulged in a variety of dishes and left fully satisfied. If you ever crave delicious yakitori in Namba, be sure to visit Torizuke. It was absolutely delicious. Thank you for the feast.

I used it for the anniversary with my girlfriend. We were guided to a semi-private room for two people, where we could enjoy our meal without worrying about others, and it was a very nice space. The dishes, such as yakitori and yuzu chicken, were all very delicious. If the food came out a little faster, it would have been perfect.

I visited a chicken restaurant called "Charcoal Grilled Chicken Torizuke" in Osaka's backstreet Namba. They mainly use Nara-sourced Yamato chicken and Kishu Binchotan charcoal to bring out the natural flavors, aroma, and texture of the chicken. While their charcoal-grilled yakitori is their specialty, they also recommend their chicken sashimi and tataki. - Sashimi Assortment (3 kinds) 690 yen A dish made with Yamato chicken from Nara. It's not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious. Yakitori: - Heart 253 yen - Bonjiri (tail) 275 yen - Liver 264 yen The yakitori was very refined, with flavors spreading in the mouth as you chew. The bonjiri had a rich taste, resembling that of a mature chicken, and the liver had a melt-in-your-mouth texture, safe to eat raw. - Sweet Potato Stick with Butter 572 yen A delicious dish featuring moist sweet potatoes and a fantastic sauce made with water candy. This restaurant was recommended by issim, the bassist of The Shirakawa Band led by comedian Tendollar Shirakawa. Whenever issim recommends a place, it never disappoints. We only had a light meal as a second gathering this time, so I look forward to returning with an empty stomach to enjoy a variety of dishes. Everything was incredibly delicious.

When we ordered a variety platter and a few individual yakitori items, the staff kindly explained that it might be better to order the platter first to avoid overlap with the individual items due to the busy grill. The first item, the chicken breast, was incredibly tender and delicious, but the heart and tail were just average. During a lull in the busy period, the staff left grilled skewers unattended on the counter while doing dishes, and on three occasions, they brought those skewers to our table, which was not a pleasant experience. I understand the pressure of a busy kitchen, having worked in the industry before, but if they can't bring the food out right away, they should at least keep it out of sight from the customers. The priority should be serving the yakitori fresh and hot. We were seated on the third floor, and it seemed like the food was being transported from the first floor to the third floor on some sort of escalator system, which may have affected the taste. The service overall was good, with all the staff being friendly. It's rare to find a restaurant where every part of the yakitori is equally delicious, so it was disappointing to experience such a difference in taste between the items this time. Despite this, the individual items were all tasty. The restaurant is highly rated, and it's a shame that the experience didn't live up to the delicious chicken breast.

I went to Torisugi, a very popular restaurant that I was curious about! The atmosphere here is great, and not only the yakitori, but also the side dishes were delicious! I especially liked the potato salad and I want to go back again! They also have a second floor, so it's quite spacious inside!

Recently, I have been visiting this area often and I decided to try dining in as I was always curious whenever I passed by the shop. -----Taste Impressions-----【Ume Suisho (Pickled Plums)】I often order this at izakayas. It has a strong pickled plum flavor, very refreshing and crunchy, quite addictive and delicious.【Adult Potato Salad】It has a unique taste so preferences may vary, but I love it, so it's a winner for me.【Kinkan (Kumquat)】I think this was my first time trying it. It pops in your mouth, so I was told to eat it in one bite, and it was so rich and delicious. Goes well with chicken and seaweed.【Skewers in general】The quail eggs are half-cooked, soft and gooey, absolutely the best. The seasoning is exquisite, and I was completely satisfied with everything!【Kachokabaro Cheese Bake】The texture of Kachokabaro is similar to mochi, like a combination of mochi, seaweed, and soy sauce. It's impossible not to like it. Another winner for me.【Sweet Potato Stick Butter】For an additional charge, you can also add ice cream as a topping, but since I was quite full, I ordered it as a dessert. It feels indulgent but it's delicious.-------------------Another thing that made me happy was that you can order the same items for lunch as you can for dinner (I have not used it at night). We used this restaurant for a welcome party for a new colleague at work. The streets were quite crowded with people, and it seems like the impact of the coronavirus is getting better, slowly returning to normal. The restaurant was also full, so much so that we were surprised we were able to secure a table on the second floor at the back by putting a few tables together. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was great, and the staff were friendly, so we were immediately convinced that it was a good place. Cheers with a glass of draft beer! Now, let's eat. - Appetizers: Potato salad and cartilage included as a unique starter. The ball-shaped potato salad with cartilage added a nice texture accent. - Sashimi platter: A stylish plate with zuri, liver, gizzard, breast, and chicken wings. They were fresh, shiny, and had a transparent appearance. Each had a good texture, sweetness, and flavor, and were delicious. - Kachokabaro seaweed roll: Kachokabaro (a type of cheese) charred on seaweed. The combination of cheese and seaweed flavors was good. - Bonjiri skewers: Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavorful fat. Absolutely delicious. - Sasami with wasabi oil skewers: Sasami cooked rare was incredibly tender, and the mild wasabi kick was delightful. - Heart skewers (with sauce): I usually don't like heart meat, but the heart skewers here were unexpectedly delicious. - Uni and chicken roll: Grilled chicken on seaweed topped with sea urchin. The fried chicken made by a yakitori restaurant was delicious. - Shirako cream croquette: Made with shirako, this croquette had a rich umami flavor and a luxurious taste. - Tsukune skewers: Fluffy and meaty with a delicious sauce. - Oyakodon: A unique oyakodon made with a well-mixed sauce and frothy egg. The delicious broth and creamy egg had a gentle mouthfeel. It was delicious and had a unique taste. The yakitori, sashimi, and the oyakodon at the end were all delicious! Great value for money at this excellent yakitori restaurant!! The grilled chicken tataki was cooked to perfection! The side dishes were also delicious, and I was very satisfied!! The sashimi was fresh and very satisfying too!! We made a reservation before going and I'm glad we did because it was quite full, so I think making a reservation is necessary♪

The atmosphere was very nice, the dishes were all delicious and carefully prepared. I especially enjoyed the chicken sashimi assortment, so I would like to try the 5-piece assortment next time. We had reserved a table, but it was a bit cramped as it was by the hallway.

This is a great place where you can enjoy specialty chicken dishes, including yakitori, chicken sashimi, and creative chicken dishes. I have been there several times, and I want to go again.

I used it for a year-end party with friends. It is a street shop in the busy area of Ura Namba, so it was full. The nearest stations are Nankai Namba Station, Midosuji Line Namba Station, and Kintetsu Nipponbashi Station, so it is easily accessible from any station. There is a large signboard with "Chicken Tsubo" written in front of the store, making it easy to find. Inside the store, there is a counter on the left as soon as you enter, a table for 2 on the right, and a sunken kotatsu seating area at the back, with seats on the second floor as well. We were guided to the sunken kotatsu seating area at the back of the first floor and placed our order! We forgot to take photos, but we started the party with a cheers with draft beer! The first dish that came was... Oboro tofu! You eat it with a separate dipping sauce like dashi soy sauce! It had a firm texture and was delicious. Next came... Homemade Yagen Cartilage Plum Meat Salad! The crunchy texture of the cartilage and the acidity of the plum were nice! Next came... Yamato Chicken Sashimi Assorted Three Kinds! They were all plump and delicious. Next came... Tamagoyaki with minced meat and chicken roll! It has minced meat inside. The egg was fluffy! Next came... Skewers! Bonjiri, Negima [using Yamato chicken thighs], Seseri, Liver, and Special Tsukune arrived! My recommendation is Negima and Liver! Negima uses local chicken, so it has a unique texture of local chicken, and it is well grilled and a nice skewer! The liver is also a nice skewer with a creamy texture inside! Next came... Fried chicken wings with ponzu and salt! Unfortunately, the ponzu arrived in about 1-2 minutes after ordering, but the salt that arrived later was so freshly fried that it was disappointing. Next came... Manjuya Shishito! It was cut into easy-to-eat pieces, so it looks easy to eat even for women! Next came... Tebasaki Doteni! It became a good dish when mixed with the shichimi on the table until it became tender. The staff's service was good, and the yakitori was delicious, so even though it was the first time for our group, we gave it a high rating. But it was just fried chicken wings... ^^;w It's a good restaurant because it's close to the station and the service is good, so I think it can be used for New Year's parties and small gatherings in the future. I discovered a yakitori restaurant with a good atmosphere right in front of Fukutaro, famous for okonomiyaki, and decided to go in. The restaurant was always full, so I had to wait a bit before being seated. The appetizer was delicious, raising my expectations for the rest of the meal. I ordered a green tea highball for my drink, which was a great deal as they offered up to 3 refills with the same tea leaves. The presentation of the dishes was vibrant and appetizing. The main yakitori dishes were decent, neither good nor bad. The only downside was that the liver had a slight unpleasant smell. If the quality of the yakitori improves a bit, I would be interested in visiting again. Thank you for the meal.

I was looking for a second party drinking spot from Namba's backstreets and found this place. It's located right in front of the main store of Okonomiyaki Fukutaro in Sennichimae. It's a yakitori restaurant with a wide variety of drinks. I remember there were over 10 types of sake available. I enjoyed delicious drinks and sake and beer. Personally, I would definitely come back to this place. When I drink around Sennichimae again, I will consider this place!
