The interior of the restaurant has a yakiniku-like atmosphere. They don't have the typical skewered yakitori menu, instead they have a shop where you can grill chicken on a shichirin. The chicken is all fresh, and the grilled chicken cooked on the shichirin conveys the sweetness of the fat and the crispiness of the chicken skin, making it delicious. Perhaps because they use high-quality chicken, I think the overall price is a bit on the higher side.

Fukushima Ladder Sake Edition. Today, the main dish I came to Fukushima for is this yakitori. The highlight is the "Liver Special"!! For the middle-aged salarymen and yakitori wanderers in their 30s to 50s who have heard the name, I'm here to introduce you to this natural monument of yakitori. Let me explain about the Liver Special (or "Liver Spe" for short). It is white liver half-seared with plenty of green onions, seasoned with salt (secret spice), and squeezed with lemon. The liver melts in your mouth, and then the salt, green onions, and lemon come in to enhance the flavor. It may be the most delicious way to eat liver. So why did it become a natural monument? The chain called Torige Group, which used to handle this Liver Special, suddenly disappeared from Osaka Umeda and Namba 6 or 7 years ago. Despite becoming famous for this dish, Torige Group stopped selling it. The sales plummeted after they removed this menu item. Why did they go to such lengths to stop selling it? Although Umeda is gone, I confirmed its existence here in Fukushima. This is a dish that we must protect in our Yakitori Enthusiast Club, so we will cherish it. Thank you m(_ _)m I will come just to eat this. P.S. It seems that there is also a yakitori called Liver Spe in Temma, but it has not been confirmed yet. I will report back once I confirm it.

I want to casually drink alcohol while holding my iPhone at the counter alone and enjoy some delicious snacks. There are times when you feel like that, right? I often pass by this place in Fukushima due to work, and finally decided to go in. I wanted to drink at the counter alone! In short, this place is "a good restaurant." I feel happy eating delicious chicken as a snack with my drink. It's a joy to watch the chicken being carefully grilled over charcoal while drinking. I definitely want to come back to this place alone again.

Interior: With a counter seating for 10 and tables for 23, the interior of the restaurant has a nostalgic feel. This time, two men sat at the counter. There are also semi-private rooms available for up to 6 people. Food: - Liver Special ¥250 A must-order specialty menu item at "Gunkaifukushima." A juicy skewer of rare-cooked liver topped with plenty of green onions. This is a yakitori restaurant in Fukushima. The best thing about it is how easy it is to get in. It's just the right level of busy, so you usually don't have trouble getting a table. The food is amazing, especially the liver special. It's rare grilled liver that is juicy and full of flavor, topped with plenty of green onions and sesame oil salt sauce. It's delicious, reminiscent of the tasty raw liver. Sometimes the saltiness can be strong, but it goes well with beer. The Miyazaki-style charcoal grilling, which was once popular, is also great to watch as they cook it on the grill over charcoal. The tataki and seared dishes have a crunchy texture that is good. The skewers are not surprisingly amazing, but they are consistently good. The bill is not too expensive or too cheap... it's just right. The quality of the food and the prices are stable and reliable. I will definitely visit again.

I mistakenly made a reservation at a restaurant called "Shamo-san" thinking it was a different place. I arrived late due to work, and rushed to place my order. I forgot to take a picture of the menu, but the drinks and appetizers were fine. However, the skewers took a long time to come out, probably because the restaurant was full. It took about 30 minutes to 1 hour. The taste of the food was excellent, especially the liver with plenty of green onions was delicious. The chicken sashimi was also fresh and good. This is a casual yakitori restaurant in Fukushima that you can easily enjoy. Thank you for the meal!

Cost-effective yakitori restaurant. Just a short walk from Hankyu Fukushima Station! There are many flags for a curry restaurant on the front, so you might think it's a curry place and pass by. When I peeked inside, there were two groups of customers already seated... Are they reserved??? The way I asked this... I once got a complaint at my own restaurant (laughs). You can't come in without a reservation! So be careful... In the end, we sat at a small counter! It got quite busy and the ordered dishes took a while to come out. *The staff talks too much in the kitchen! Well... considering the price, the food was quite delicious.

This is a small yakitori restaurant called Toriko near Shin-Fukushima Station. Whenever I pass by, it is usually bustling with customers. Inside, there is a dark, adult-like atmosphere with a counter surrounding the kitchen and regular table seating. The menu features chicken thigh skewers as the flagship item, along with a variety of skewers and sashimi. We started with a draft beer and ordered a platter of 4 types of chicken sashimi, chicken thigh skewers, and a platter of assorted yakitori. The appetizer was simmered hijiki seaweed. The sashimi platter included chicken gizzard, heart, breast, and liver, each with its own seasoning. The sashimi was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Next, we enjoyed the chicken thigh skewers, known as a local dish from Miyazaki, with a charcoal-grilled aroma and a satisfying texture. We also ordered a highball and finished with a platter of assorted yakitori, including tail, pork belly, gizzard, heart, and quail egg. Although it didn't include my favorite liver or tsukune, the quality was still good. It was a delicious meal. Thank you.

After wandering around Fukushima city for a while, I found this place. I was craving yakitori. The combination of liver and sesame oil is really good. The chewy texture of the meat is also nice. I appreciate the crunchy texture as well.

I want to eat yakitori in Osaka Fukushima. I visited the restaurant at 9 pm. Are the staff busy? Only half of the counter was occupied. There was only one table. It was delicious though. I wonder if I would come back again. Hmm.

On Sunday evening, I had dinner (eating out) with Ms. N at the restaurant called Tōkei (Shamo) Fukushima Store in Fukushima-ku, Osaka City. The restaurant has several branches in Osaka City. Although it is a yakitori restaurant with Miyazaki Jidori chicken as its signature dish, we ended up ordering things other than the signature menu items. Everything we had was delicious and reasonably priced, but I ended up drinking too many highballs again, more than the sweat I shed at the gym. The recommended dishes by Ms. N, the Neck Ponzu for 180 yen and the Liver Special for 210 yen, were delicious. We also ordered a crunchy salad for 520 yen, Negima (chicken and leek skewers) for 180 yen, and Tsukune (chicken meatballs) for 140 yen. We also added Daikon Karaage (deep-fried radish, which was unusual and I tried for the first time), Chicken Karaage, and Satsuma Age (deep-fried fish paste), but we ended up ordering too much and had leftovers.
