I found it at Hankyu Department Store in Umeda. When I visited in the evening, the item I wanted was sold out. But when I went around noon, they had limited edition sudachi ponzu and squid sauce from April to September. I bought some squid sauce with hand-cut squid mixed with kaki no tane (rice crackers) and sudachi ponzu with a refreshing acidity. I also purchased kaki no tane with the flavor of fried chicken.

During my business trip in Osaka, I stopped by this shop at Hankyu Department Store in Umeda to buy souvenirs. While there are many shops found in Tokyo and other areas, this shop offers region-limited products. They have cute and stylish packaged kakinotane (spicy rice crackers) in flavors like fried chicken and seaweed. They make great snacks for drinks and are a step above the usual kakinotane, making them a popular gift choice.

Hankyu Various Lines, located a 2-minute walk from Osaka Umeda Station. This shop is located on the B1 floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store and specializes in rice crackers. It is a brand managed by Kameda Seika. While there is only one permanent store here, they also participate in events and offer online shopping, making it easy for people from distant places to purchase their products. They sell premium rice crackers that have been enhanced in flavor and texture by adding an extra touch to Kameda's Kaki no Tane. One of their limited-time offerings is the Sudachi Ponzu Kaki no Tane Mix Cashew Nuts (5 bags for 648 yen). They use sudachi fruit juice powder from Tokushima Prefecture in this product. The Ponzu soy sauce flavor base has a stronger umami taste compared to regular rice crackers, with the refreshing and tangy flavor of sudachi added to it. The citrusy aftertaste is very easy to enjoy, and the cashew nuts add a hint of sweetness. While the price is on the premium side considering the usual prices, the uniqueness of being only available at this store and having store-exclusive flavors makes it a good choice for souvenirs. They offer a variety of flavors, making it fun to compare and try different ones.

Limited to Umeda Hankyu, this is the premium version of "Kaki no Tane" snack. Premium versions of snacks seem to be popular elsewhere too. I received this at work. The triangular packaging is cute. ★Cheese Soy Sauce Kaki no Tane mix Roasted Almonds ★Spicy Sauce Kaki no Tane mix Cashew Nuts When you pour out the contents of one bag onto a small plate, there isn't much. First, the Cheese Soy Sauce. Let's see. It looks different somehow...special? Oh, it has a nice cheese aroma ( ゚Д゚) Delicious! This could be a great snack with alcohol...like wine. The almonds are also fragrant. The Spicy Sauce is not very spicy. Huh? It's similar to yakisoba. The cashew nuts help to mellow it out. This one might go well with beer. I had them at work, so I paired them with coffee. Both were delicious, but I prefer the Cheese Soy Sauce. You can purchase them on the website, and they would make a nice gift.

I always bring Tanibitto's Assortment Type as a souvenir✨ It's perfect for when people gather during New Year's! It looks cute and easy to use. The price may be a bit high, but it's great that you can try various flavors. There are some unique flavors, but I personally like the normal one. It's fun to switch up the flavors!

Tetra packs come in various colors and each color has a different flavor. My sister's favorite box is being used as a trash can, she really buys a lot of them. We divided them between us. The flavors include cheese, soy sauce tempura, seaweed, burnt soy sauce, and spicy sauce. My favorite is the burnt soy sauce. The nuts included are cashews, roasted almonds, and small peanuts, but there's only a little bit in each pack. I prefer the regular Kakinotane snacks. These colorful packs might make you go "wow" when you see them, they could be a great gift.

I visited this shop at Hankyu Umeda on a regular day. I bought some fried chicken-flavored snacks for home! They were described as premium persimmon seeds, so I was curious and decided to try them. The taste was similar to fried chicken, but with a delicious crunchy flavor. It was really tasty. Thank you for the meal♪

There are over ten different flavors available, including white truffle cheese. I want to read descriptions of all the products. It would be even better if there were samples to taste. The price is around 600 yen, which is a bit expensive for personal use, but perfect as a gift. I'm curious about the flavor that was already sold out. If there was a shop like this nearby, I would visit twice a week.

I tried a high-end version of the well-known snack "Kaki no Tane" called "Tanebitsu". It comes in six flavors, and I chose the "Tempura Seafood & Classic Peanuts" and "Spicy Sauce & Cashew Nuts". The spicy sauce flavor tasted like a rich okonomiyaki sauce, while the nuts were just lightly salted. It reminded me of the original "Kaki no Tane" for adults. The tempura flavor was surprisingly crispy and tasted exactly like shrimp tempura. It was quite interesting! The individual packaging makes it perfect for sharing at the office. Although the small bags are priced at 125 yen each, it feels like a luxurious treat for a regular snack. Thank you for the meal!

This time, I visited when I went to Osaka for work, not with my wife and children. The place is just a few minutes' walk from Umeda Station. It's TABE BITS, a popular shop created by Kameda Seika. This shop specializes in TANE BITS, which was released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Kameda's "Kaki no Tane" in 2016. First, I tried the fried chicken flavor with dashi salt and kabosu salt. I thought it might be a bit too strong with the fried chicken flavor, but the texture is like fried chicken and delicately done. The peanuts with white truffle flavor were also delicious. I really enjoyed it. It's an evolved version of "Kaki no Tane" that focuses on its strengths as a snack. I would definitely like to try it again. Thank you for the meal.

In Umeda, at the underground food floor of Hankyu department store, there is a shop that offers high-end versions of popular snacks like Kameda's Kaki no Tane. I purchased the burnt soy sauce and cashew nut mix variety, which uses raw soy sauce. The flavor was good with a nice roasted soy sauce taste that wasn't too overpowering. I always thought peanuts were a must in Kaki no Tane, but the cashew nuts provided a gentler flavor and texture, which complemented the bold flavor of the snack well. The quality of the Kaki no Tane itself was also superior to the regular version. It was delicious.

When I visited about a month ago, all the products were sold out, probably because they had been featured on TV shortly before. This time, they had plenty of everything. I wanted to try all the almond varieties, but I started with two. The tempura one had a delicious shrimp aroma that I couldn't get enough of. As for the cheese one, I felt that each flavor was a bit lacking in uniqueness. They tasted like soy sauce and cheese, but lacked impact. Also, there were too few almonds! I like the taste of both, but as someone who prefers snacks with lots of nuts like persimmon seeds, I found it a bit unsatisfying.

Today I purchased some snacks at this store on the basement 1st floor of Hankyu Department Store in Umeda. This Tanebitsu is a premium product released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Kameda's Kaki no Tane. I chose the Karaage (fried chicken) and Dashi Shio (bonito salt) flavors from the various Tanebitsu available. Now, let's try them! When I opened the package, there was less than I expected! The taste is quite elegant, with a mild spiciness and saltiness. It's delicious, but the flavor is a bit different from the familiar one, so it may be a matter of personal preference. Anyway, thank you for the meal! This costs 540 yen including tax for a pack of 4. The quantity is small, so the calories are on the lower side.

On this day, I was wandering around Osaka Hankyu and stopped by Kameda's Kakinotane shop. I bought Cashew-flavored Kakinotane again because I had bought them before at Hanshin and they were delicious. I took them home. Since they were Cashew-flavored, I felt a little luxurious and enjoyed them with beer. They were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, I was still in the mood for shopping so I was wandering around! When I passed by Kameda Premium, I felt like buying something! It was my first time buying from them. There were various options, and I decided to go with the cheese soy sauce almonds. I took them home and enjoyed them to some extent. But I felt like something was missing. I think it's because I prefer the slight spiciness and peanuts in traditional kaki no tane snacks... I realized that not everything needs to be fancied up, kaki no tane is good just the way it is. This is just my personal opinion!

Kameda Seika-san. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of Kakinotane! The premium taste is delicious, even the aftertaste ♬ I bought it as a souvenir for my friends♪ I chose "Sakura Smoke + Smoked Peanuts" from the 7 flavors available. It's a wonderful Kakinotane with a smoky flavor from smoking with cherry blossom wood. The smoked flavor is irresistibly delicious. It's a taste one level above regular Kakinotane♥ I wish there was a bit more quantity, though. The spicy sauce, not shown in the picture, was also delicious. The tangy sauce was just right. Tanebitsu is only available at Hankyu Umeda Main Store. Of course, you can purchase it at events or online, but it adds a bit of a premium feel. It was delicious♥

I walked around the depachika (food basement) of Hankyu Department Store. The Calbee store, which used to have long lines, was easy to buy from now. The Baton d'Or Pretzels are still popular, with separate sections for different flavors. Next to Happy Turns were Kameda Seika's Tanebits. They were selling high-end Kakinotane (spicy rice crackers). The premium version contained only the rice crackers without peanuts, adding to its luxurious appeal. I purchased the popular flavors of burnt soy sauce, fried chicken kabosu, and tempura plum shiso. They are perfect for summer.

There are various limited edition snacks available at Hankyu Umeda, including "Kameda's Kaki no Tane." One of these is the Premium Kaki no Tane, introduced in the spring of 2016, which offers a new twist on the classic snack by adding four different preparation methods: grilling, frying, smoking, and marinating. I purchased a total of 9 varieties, including: - Tempura (Ume Shiso): Limited edition for summer - Karaage (Kabosu): Limited edition for summer - Sakura Smoked - Tamari Double-Marinated Soy Sauce - Roasted Soy Sauce - Tempura - Karaage - Cheese Soy Sauce - Peanut White Truffle Each priced at ¥500 (+ consumption tax), totaling ¥4,860. Each flavor has its own unique twist, such as using dried plum from Kishu for the Ume Shiso tempura, or Oita-grown Kabosu fruit juice powder for the Karaage. The Sakura Smoked Kaki no Tane is smoked with cherry wood, giving it a delightful aroma. The Tamari Double-Marinated Soy Sauce flavor is rich and flavorful, while the Roasted Soy Sauce variety has a delicious burnt soy sauce aroma. The Tempura and Karaage options offer a crispy texture, with the Ume Shiso tempura seasoned with wasabi salt. The Cheese Soy Sauce flavor combines cheese powder with soy sauce for a savory taste, and the Peanut White Truffle variety features peanuts fried and finished with truffle salt and burnt butter. Overall, each flavor has a unique and crispy texture with delicious seasonings. While they may not be a necessity, they make for a delightful snack or gift option.

One Sunday, I remembered the premium kaki no tane I bought at Umeda Hankyu at the end of last year to eat for New Year's, which I had forgotten about. Luckily, it was still within the expiration date, so I decided to try it. I bought the tempura flavor for 540 yen. The deluxe packaging inevitably raised my expectations. With the beer also chilled, I decided to dig in! Crunch, crunch... Oh! It's pleasantly milder than I expected. It can be described as elegant, not like the 100 yen snacks that leave you with change. It definitely gives off the color, aroma, and taste reminiscent of tempura batter. There's a faint hint of wasabi that follows. The beer I had with it was the limited edition Master's Dream from Premium Malt's, with a rich aroma that unfortunately overshadowed the premium kaki no tane... Maybe I should have stuck with Super Dry. I was hoping for a draw in this "premium" showdown. Personally, I wouldn't recommend pairing it with a very aromatic beer. Of course, it's delicious on its own. Hmm, I want to try other flavors and maybe give it another shot. Thank you for the meal.

I was told by the store clerk that it would be better to use my Hankyu points! I was surprised (laughs) I didn't realize I had accumulated so many points. So I decided to enjoy some delicious food and use up my points. First, I went to TANEBITS... The "Crack Peanuts with White Truffle Salt" was delicious! The fine salt had a nice kick, and I couldn't stop eating it! I ended up finishing it all in one go. I also tried the "Tamari Nidozuke" for 500 yen, the "Cheese Shoyu" for 500 yen, and the "Crack Peanuts with White Truffle Salt" for 500 yen. I also bought a box for 3 pieces for 150 yen.
