For lunch on this day, we went to "Chuka Ryori Higashi" in Sakai Nishiminato to support a restaurant that is still operating despite the pandemic. It's located right in between Minato Station on the Nankai Main Line and Higashi Minato Station on the Hankai Line. My family and I visited the restaurant, where I had the "Ramen Set Meal," my child had the "Meatball Set Meal," and my wife had the "Miso Ramen." We also ordered two servings of gyoza. "Chuka Ryori Higashi" is situated in a residential area of Nishiminato. It appeared to be a garage converted into a restaurant with a unique atmosphere and chic interior decor. The Ramen Set Meal included ramen with a side of mini fried rice. The ramen was a traditional soy sauce-based one with thin Chinese noodles. The soup was a clear broth cooked in a medium-sized pot, mixed with soy sauce and chicken oil. On top of the noodles were pork belly chashu, bean sprouts, green onions, and naruto fish cake. The soup was a bit salty for my taste, but the ramen was really delicious. The fried rice only had eggs and green onions as ingredients, seasoned with just salt for a simple yet interesting flavor. The gyoza had a moderate amount of garlic and a crispy texture. I also tried a bit of the meatballs, and it was clear why this place is popular. The Ramen Set Meal was incredibly tasty!

On Sunday at 12:45, there was one group of two customers already seated and another group of two customers arrived later, so it was not crowded. I ordered the ramen set for 700 yen (which includes ramen and a mini fried rice). It arrived in about 5-6 minutes. The ramen noodles were just your standard Chinese restaurant noodles, but still delicious. It reminded me of the old-fashioned Chinese soba noodles. The mini fried rice was also tasty, not too greasy, and had a nice texture (not too sticky). The portion size was decent considering the price of 700 yen for a meal in a town Chinese restaurant. I left feeling full and satisfied, so I will definitely come back again, maybe next time I'll try the yakisoba set.

I tried to go to Harimaya near Mimbari Hospital, but there was a line in front of the store. So I went to the Chinese restaurant, Azuma, which I had been eyeing for a while. As many of the commenters mentioned, the saltiness was a bit strong, but the soup and char siu were well done. I was very satisfied with the price. Personally, I like condiments, so I wish there were more green onions in the fried rice. Also, it would be great if there were some condiments on the table for flavor variations.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Likelihood to revisit: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cost performance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: ⭐️⭐️ Location: Sakai City, Sakai Ward, Nishiminato-cho Cuisine: Chinese I entered because I was a little hungry and ended up ordering the ramen set when I saw the menu. The ramen was a traditional Chinese soba and the fried rice was a bit light in flavor but delicious! The door was only half open, so I wondered if I had to show some guts to enter (laughs).

- Miso Ramen 650 yen - Tianjin Rice (with soup) 600 yen - A Chinese-style restaurant located about a 5-minute walk from Minato Station on the Nankai Main Line. - Soup: Miso soup based on chicken broth. It comes with white sesame sprinkled on top by default. - The noodles are slightly thin straight noodles. - Ingredients include pork belly, bean sprouts, and chopped green onions. - The restaurant has only a 12-seat L-shaped counter, and this was my second visit. I had the ramen set last time, so this time I decided to try something different and ordered the miso ramen and Tianjin rice. The Tianjin rice that was served first was surprisingly sweet, completely different from what I expected! It was quite modest in portion size. On the other hand, the miso ramen was on the salty side. It had multiple pieces of pork belly instead of chashu. As expected, the service took quite some time. Thank you for the meal!

■Ramen Set Meal 700 yen・Located about a 5-minute walk from Minato Station on the Nankai Main Line.・Soup: Soy sauce soup based on chicken broth.・Noodles are medium-sized straight noodles.・Ingredients include 1 slice of chashu, bean sprouts, naruto, and chopped green onions.・The restaurant has only a 12-seat L-shaped counter. Visited this popular local spot for the first time. Despite its appearance, the interior is a bit stylish with jazz playing in the background. The staff, a parent and child team, work together to operate the place, but it takes quite some time from ordering to serving. The ramen was served first. It's a simple Chinese soba dish but very salty! The chashu is delicious, so I think a chashu ramen option would be great. Next was the fried rice. It's a moist type of fried rice, also very salty! It's understandable that a ramen and fried rice set for 700 yen is quite reasonable these days. Thank you for the meal! 🍜

We went looking and found a somewhat hard-to-find store. But it's popular, isn't it? The L-shaped counter was full when we arrived. The menu is simple. I always go for the top menu at a new store. I got the ramen set. My wife got the liver and leek set. It's cheap. The ramen had a strong flavor. It's soy sauce ramen, but it's light. You can't really taste the broth because the soy sauce is overpowering. The noodles were just okay. It's just a regular Chinese-style ramen. It comes with a small fried rice. Surprisingly, the fried rice was light. The liver and leek dish had a small portion! It was carefully made, which was nice. The flavor was strong. My wife thought the soup had a strong meat smell. Maybe adding gyoza would have made her more satisfied. They closed by 1:30, so it was an early meal.

I love yakisoba. I also enjoy the sauce yakisoba from okonomiyaki restaurants, but I also really like the yakisoba from Chinese restaurants. It's so delicious, right? I came here because I saw a post by Mairebi-san and wanted to try it. At first, I was a bit skeptical of the appearance, but once I went inside, the walls were decorated with guitars and it had a stylish feel. The Chinese yakisoba was delicious (*^^*). It came with what seemed like fried rice, but it had less egg and didn't quite taste like fried rice. I also took a bite of the sweet and sour pork, and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal (^∧^)

I visited this restaurant for the first time, even though it has been relocated from near Minami-Kaigan Minato Station. It was past 1 pm on a weekday, but the place was still bustling with customers. Despite being further from the station and surrounded by residential areas, the turnover of customers was constant. The addition of a parking lot next to the restaurant was a welcome change. The prices seemed to have hardly increased, making it a great value for money neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Today, I tried the Tianjin fried rice, which had a slightly sweet sauce instead of a clear broth. It was a good match with the rice, almost like eating sweet omelette if it wasn't meant to be a side dish for beer. The rest of the menu was simple and typical of a local Chinese eatery, with a friendly taste. What I enjoyed the most was the harmonious interaction between the mother and son working at the restaurant, which was heartwarming to watch. I hope they continue to work together happily for a long time. Thank you for the meal!

I had heard that this place was delicious from people at work, so I decided to visit this Chinese restaurant in town near Minato Station on the Nankai Main Line. I arrived on a Sunday at noon, but the restaurant wasn't open yet. I didn't notice at first and drove past it, but then I circled back and parked in the nearby parking lot. The owner, a friendly man, and his mother greeted me and asked me to wait a moment. I looked at the menu while sipping on water and eventually decided on the Ramen Set Meal for 650 yen, which came with half-fried rice, and some fried dumplings for 250 yen. I also ordered some yakisoba for takeout. The owner quickly cooked the yakisoba while his mother packed it up. The ramen arrived, with soy sauce broth, traditional sliced pork, naruto, bean sprouts, and green onions. The soup was delicious, with a nice balance of soy sauce and chicken broth. The noodles were thin and wavy, perfectly cooked, and paired well with the oily soup. The sliced pork added a nice touch of flavor, and the bean sprouts and green onions complemented the ramen well. The fried rice was also excellent, with a good amount of seasoning. The small, crispy garlic dumplings were a nice addition to the meal. Overall, a great experience with delicious food at this charming Chinese restaurant "Chuka Ryori Higashi". Highly recommended.

Since it opened, I've been really curious about this Chinese restaurant in the town. It's renovated from a garage, so I always pass by on my days off because the exterior is so interesting. For lunch on a weekday, I took my juniors there. The interior of the restaurant is spacious with a high ceiling, giving it an open feel. The area around the counter has a Chinese restaurant vibe, but the rest of the place is stylish and not typically Chinese. The owner doesn't give off a Chinese restaurant vibe either; he seems more like someone who runs a spice curry shop. (I was really impressed by his polite customer service.) After much deliberation, we ordered: - Fried Yakisoba for 550 yen tax included. No one had posted a photo of it, so I was curious. It had pork, various vegetables, and fish cakes in a refined (mild) Chinese sauce with crispy noodles. It was delicious and piping hot! - Pan-fried dumplings for 250 yen. They were small dumplings with a moderate amount of garlic and plenty of vegetables in a thin skin. - Half order of chicken Karaage for 350 yen. Even though it was a half order, it came with four pieces! The ginger-flavored chicken seemed like it would go well with white rice. My juniors had the ramen set meal (650 yen), and they said the ramen was delicious with a traditional Chinese noodle soup taste. The restaurant was constantly full from the moment we entered until we left, with a constant stream of customers. (The location is really bad, but the cost performance is amazing, so it's no wonder it's so popular.) Thank you for the meal!

In January of the 4th year of Reiwa, during lunchtime (12:00-14:00), I had the Ramen set (Soy Sauce Ramen + Small Fried Rice) for 650 yen. The fried rice in the set is lightly seasoned but satisfying, just the right taste. The main ramen is delicious and stands out from typical ramen at local Chinese restaurants. It's a good value set.

Located in a residential area, "Chinese Cuisine Higashi" used to be near Nankai Dentetsu's Minato Station, which I occasionally visited. It has now moved away from the station, so I haven't been there for a while. The old warehouse has been renovated into a stylish restaurant with a display of vintage items. The evening drinking atmosphere seems nice. The lunch prices range from 600 to 700 yen, which is reasonable. The portions may not be suitable for big eaters (for example, the ramen set comes with a small portion of fried rice). The vegetable stir-fry set has just the right seasoning and is easy to eat, not too salty or greasy. The small dumplings are filled with plenty of meat and have a great texture. I will definitely visit again.

Located in the middle of Higashiminato and Minato, in a residential area. It seems like they recently relocated from a slightly distant location. The DIY-style shop has a moderate level of cleanliness. The shop is run by two people. The chic setting is nice! On this day, I had Tenshinhan (sweet and sour pork on rice), grilled dumplings, and liver and leek set meal. The Tenshinhan had a thick omelette with tangy sauce. The grilled dumplings had a nice crispy texture. The liver and leek dish was reportedly delicious according to my companion. A typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant!

I had been very curious about this restaurant since I saw Atsu-san's blog. (Sorry for mentioning the name. I often read Atsu-san's and Noronori-san's blogs.) Since Noronori-san also went there, I decided to go too! I arrived around 12 o'clock and the parking lot was already full, so I killed some time and arrived again around 12:50. There was only one car parked, so I was able to park safely. I ordered the ramen set and gyoza. As mentioned in everyone's reviews, there was no air conditioning, so I brought a portable fan, but surprise! There were two air conditioners installed!! It was cool and comfortable. The ramen was delicious, the fried rice was tasty, and the gyoza was also very delicious. The noodles and soup in the ramen were delicious, and the gyoza was very easy to eat and tasty. The fried rice had a simple seasoning but it was my cup of tea. I want to try other items as well, so I will definitely go back!

I am "Noronori," who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. The original source has been moved to https://ameblo.jp/norinoribenben20072000/entry-12678458085.html. This time, it's in the middle of a residential area, so it's a bit hard to explain the location. It looks like it might be a warehouse or something that has been renovated. It seems like it could get hot in the summer with the sun beating down on it. I wonder if they have air conditioning since the ceiling looks the same. I looked around but couldn't figure it out... but there's no use worrying about it! They must have thought it through. When I entered, there were no guests, but it wasn't just a lack of customers. It seemed like it was the timing when all the customers had left, and they had finished making a lot of takeout orders... The mother seemed exhausted. I felt bad for her. I ordered the yakisoba set and gyoza. I think Mr. Higashi's seasoning is elegant and delicious. The gyoza, yakisoba, and fried rice were all delicious. I can see why it's popular. Thank you for the meal.

After taking a walk and taking a nap, I unexpectedly received a work meeting call. I finished my mom's shopping and went to the meeting in Honmachi. The meeting lasted about 15 minutes, so I decided to head back. I was thinking about what to eat, and ended up at a recently relocated restaurant with parking. The exterior looked really cool, and there were parking spaces for three cars next to it. I entered at 12:20 and there were a few customers inside, maybe locals. The interior had a garage-like feel but was stylish. I ordered the ramen set for 650 yen, which included ramen and half-fried rice. The ramen was delicious with a chicken broth base, and the noodles were tasty. The fried rice was light in color and flavor, but surprisingly delicious. It paired well with Worcestershire sauce. Overall, it was a great meal.

Today's lunch was at a town Chinese restaurant that was renovated from a garage. It seems they moved from the station area. It's located near the Wagashi shop Tenjin Mochi. Even though it's past lunchtime, it's quite crowded. The ramen set is 650 yen, and the gyoza is 250 yen. Even though gyoza wasn't on the menu, getting these three classic Chinese dishes for under 1,000 yen is really reasonable. The ramen has a chicken bone soy sauce soup, which is rare for a Chinese restaurant, and the Chinese noodles are not fishy at all. It's a very light and gentle ramen. The fried rice is also very light, with a taste similar to pilaf. The gyoza is small, but crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and very delicious. You can have Chinese food at a reasonable price, so I would like to visit again. They also have a parking lot, so it's convenient. It's less than a 5-minute walk from Minato Station. Thank you for the meal. Chinese Cuisine To 072-244-6725 4-6-13 Nishiminato-cho, Sakai-ku, Sakai City, Osaka https://tabelog.com/osaka/A2705/A270501/27122839/

When I explored the area around Minato Station on the Nanhai Electric Railway, I found out that a shop that had closed down had actually relocated here. I decided to drive here this time after confirming their operating hours and parking location over the phone. There are three parking spaces on the right side of the shop. Although it's called a new shop, it doesn't look particularly new - it's an old-fashioned Chinese restaurant with a tin roof that might get quite hot in the summer without effective air conditioning. The menu is relatively cheap with good value for money. Today, I felt like having sweet and sour pork, so I ordered a sweet and sour pork set meal and grilled dumplings. The sweet and sour pork set meal costs 700 yen, and the grilled dumplings cost 250 yen, so even if you have both, it's still within 1000 yen, which is a great price. The grilled dumplings were cooked perfectly, with thin skin and a good balance of garlic, more like vegetable dumplings. They were delicious. Soon after, the sweet and sour pork was ready. The portion wasn't large, but the taste was good - just the right amount of sourness that makes you want to eat more rice. It would be even better with a beer. This is a delicious Chinese restaurant that I would definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

※This is a post from a blog♪ Blog URL: https://sibumi.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-5726.html I visited a Chinese restaurant near Nankai Minatomachi Station for the first time in December 2020! Just when I was thinking of going there again, in early April, I received a message from an acquaintance saying that the restaurant was closed... Closed? Temporarily closed?? But then... I got a new piece of information! The restaurant had actually relocated and reopened with a new look a little further from the station. I went there right away to try their ramen set meal! Visit on April 25th: This place, with garages lined up, was where the new restaurant was located. Before the opening, it wasn't clear if it was a restaurant. As the opening time approached, the shutters opened! Oh, "Chinese Cuisine Azuma" appeared! It opened on April 22nd. They opened at 12 o'clock, and 15 minutes before that, they opened the restaurant and there were many congratulatory flowers. Despite no prior announcements, it seems to be a restaurant that has been loved by the local community for almost 50 years, with many regular customers. The menu seems to be the same as before, and the prices haven't changed much. For some reason, there are no dumplings on the menu, but you can get gyoza for 250 yen. The restaurant is run by a mother and son. I ordered the large ramen set meal for 750 yen. This ramen, with a chicken bone soy sauce flavor, is like a typical Chinese noodle soup. The large set meal is a regular size, and the normal set meal is a smaller portion of fried rice, which is 100 yen cheaper than ordering them separately. The pork char siu has no fat, and the thin wavy noodles are served in a refreshing soup with bean sprouts, green onions, and naruto as standard toppings. The light and mild flavored fried rice was delicious, and I finished it all with satisfaction. Thank you for the meal! On that day, many regular customers seemed to be visiting one after another, and the restaurant was busy with no time to spare. They have shortened operating hours. I went for a lunch ride on my mini bicycle on a Friday after eating. The previous location of the restaurant is currently available for rent.
