But, this winter is so cold... Has winter always been this cold? Today's highest temperature in Osaka is 6°C. I was planning to go to Tennoji but it's too cold, so I decided to have lunch nearby again. Today, I chose the restaurant called "Oudo" for lunch. It's my first yakiniku of the year. The restaurant is located near the first traffic light after walking north from Kintetsu Fuse Station and passing through the Brandori Fuse shopping street. There is a Miyamoto Munashi on the first floor, and the restaurant is on the second floor of this building. When I arrived in front of the restaurant, I noticed that the usual signboard was not there, so I briefly thought if they were closed today. However, I went up to the second floor to check. As I approached the entrance, I saw that the lights were on inside, so it seemed like they were open. Inside the restaurant, there are 6 counter seats on the right side and table seats on the left side. It seems like there are no other customers today. I sat at the counter seat and checked the menu right away. This restaurant allows you to order individual items, but the all-you-can-eat option seems to be the main attraction. The Satisfaction Course with 75 items all-you-can-eat is 2,480 yen, and the Bliss Course with 105 items all-you-can-eat is 2,980 yen. Seniors (65 years and older) can get a 500 yen discount, and elementary school students pay half price, while kindergarten students and younger eat for free. There are also lunch menus available, so I decided to go with that. The Upper Yakiniku Set for 1,280 yen, the Oudo Set for 1,480 yen, the Yakiniku Set for 980 yen, and the Wagyu Hamburger Set for 980 yen. All four menu options come with unlimited rice. Additionally, there is the Harami Set for 780 yen and the Kalbi Set for 880 yen, where you can specify the size of the rice as small, medium, or large instead of having unlimited rice. Today, I chose the Upper Yakiniku Set. The set includes Upper Harami, Upper Loin, Upper Kalbi, rice, soup, kimchi, and salad. I placed my order with the staff and waited while looking at the menu. The main meat, salad, and kimchi were brought to me first. Each of the Upper Harami, Upper Loin, and Upper Kalbi came in three slices. Shortly after, the rice and soup arrived. I started grilling the meat right away. Grilling the meat on the gas roaster's grill with cabbage was the most enjoyable part of eating yakiniku. First, I tried the Harami, and it was fresh, tender, juicy, and delicious. The dipping sauce was slightly sweet. Next, I tasted the Loin. It was okay in terms of taste and texture. The Kalbi was also tender, juicy, flavorful, and quite delicious. The only downside was that the rice didn't taste good. It had a slightly off-putting smell. Also, the wakame soup had a somewhat questionable taste. It became more noticeable after it cooled down. I think the quality of the meat is decent, so if you can eat this level of meat all-you-can-eat, it's worth the cost. I would like to come back to eat here again. Thank you for the meal.
