I bought walnut bread (249 yen). When I bought it, I didn't notice, but when I got home and lifted it up, it was surprisingly heavy. When I opened it to toast it, I found that it had quite a lot of walnuts in it. I lightly toasted it and had it without anything on it, and the bread itself was slightly sweet. The walnuts were crunchy and really good, I could probably eat about two slices (lol). After that, I spread some butter on it, and the saltiness of the butter and the sweetness of the bread went really well together. I wish I had also bought the raisin bread (they don't slice it at the store, they sell it in blocks), which seems to have some special touch to it. This is a new and beautiful bakery that recently opened. It is located in the shopping street in front of Kuzuhiji Temple! I bought a curry bun and croquette bun for 100 yen each, a loaf of bread and a strawberry danish for 180 yen each, and a milky bun and mentaiko potato bun for 130 yen each. The curry bun is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, with a delicious homemade mild curry and plenty of beef. The cream in the milky bun is also delicious.
