When we couldn't decide on what to order, the staff recommended a yakitori called "kokoro no kori" based on our preferences, and it was delicious. This is a restaurant that requires reservations, but if you're willing to wait, you can still get in without one because the restaurant is spacious. I was lucky to get a table without a reservation. The tataki chicken thigh with yuzu pepper and ginger soy sauce was a must-try! It had a nice texture and the spiciness of yuzu pepper was delightful. The kimchi with firefly squid was a unique dish, spicy and perfect for pairing with drinks. The grilled rice balls were available in soy sauce or special sauce, and we preferred the soy sauce. We also ordered a variety of skewers, rolled omelet, and the specialty charcoal-grilled chicken. The grilled chicken from the parent bird was highly recommended. Lastly, we had white liver, oyakodon, and porridge. We ended up ordering too much and were stuffed, but the great atmosphere and popularity of the restaurant were evident. Thank you for the feast!

It's been a while since I went to Tennoji! During lunchtime, everywhere was packed with waiting time (⌒-⌒; ) so I decided to go to this place where I could be seated right away!! I ordered lunch but later found out that you can also order individual items. I had lunch at Tennoji Mio. I really like their seared dishes. They offer both young chicken thigh and parent chicken, but I ordered the "Parent Chicken Seared Lunch" for a firm texture. It arrived piping hot. The fragrant smell, the steam rising from the hot plate, and the sizzling sound coming from the plate announcing its completion really appealed to my senses! The seared dish was delicious. There are two types of dipping sauces available, but it tastes even better when eaten as is, bringing out the flavor of the meat even more! Yuzu pepper was included in the pickles, allowing for a change in flavor halfway through. I asked for hot tea after the meal, and I was told that for a limited time, I could have Rooibos tea, so I requested it. The aroma of the Rooibos tea was very soothing. At MIO Honkan on the 11th floor, directly connected from Tennoji Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious oyakodon for lunch! This time, I had the local chicken oyakodon for 980 yen and the Kawachi duck breast bowl for 1480 yen. You can get a free extra serving of rice! The broth is delicious, making it a perfect match with the meat. The Kawachi duck breast was so tender that I wished there was an option for an extra large serving! The convenience and ease of enjoying the meal was also wonderful! Thank you for the delicious meal!

I went there after 6 PM. I ordered a draft beer for 500 yen, chicken sashimi for 300 yen, assorted grilled chicken skewers for 1,000 yen, a highball for 500 yen, and smoked chicken and egg rice bowl for 1,091 yen. The total with tax was 4,379 yen. There was no miso soup or clear soup, but everything was delicious despite being a bit pricey. Thank you for the meal.

It includes both thigh and breast meat, allowing you to enjoy the chewiness of the thigh meat and the lightness of the breast meat. The dashi is rich, creating a well-balanced dish overall. It was a delicious oyakodon that I haven't had in a long time.
