However, what makes this better than Tartine is that it uses butter instead of margarine. Tartine wasn't tasty at all, but this one was better in comparison. Especially the pink one. The price is around 200 yen per piece. I couldn't forgive Cocoリス for being so expensive for that taste, but I can forgive this one because the presentation is elaborate. There aren't many delicious things in Tokyo, but I think this is still better than most.

It comes in three flavors: "Berry", "Caramel Nuts", and "Passion Mango". The "Berry" flavor is a delicious combination of sweet and sour strawberry & raspberry. It has a three-layer structure of whipped chocolate, pie, and whipped chocolate inside the langues de chat cookie petals. The "Passion Mango" flavor is also sweet and sour, with passion fruit and mango. I also tried the new release from March 3rd, the "Tulip Rose Cheese (6 pieces)" for 1,134 yen. The white one has cream cheese whipped chocolate, and the yellow one has cheddar & camembert whipped chocolate. This time, I went early in the morning, so I was able to buy with a relatively short wait time. I bought two kinds, but when I tried them, they tasted very similar. It's like a cookie with cream inside. However, it seems to be popular because of its unique appearance. It is a perfect snack for a light treat.

Despite the decent lineup, one particular store caught my eye with its cookies, perfect for White Day. I decided to line up and after about 40 minutes, finally reached the front of the line. The female staff member explained that some items were sold out and others were on backorder. I asked a male staff member about the expiration date, which was one month, so it should last long enough. I finally made my purchase after waiting in line for so long, feeling a bit disappointed that there was still a line inside the store. It was tiring! I wondered if the wait was worth it for something delicious. When I got home and tried the Tulip Rose cookies I bought, I couldn't quite figure out the flavors. The red berry was cherry-flavored, the yellow was mango-flavored, and the black was caramel. The shape made it difficult to eat in one bite, and it tended to crumble easily. Overall, the taste was too intense for my liking.

In October 2020, "Tokyo Tulip Rose" opened in Umeda Hankyu B1. I didn't notice it even though I had passed by many times before. Maybe it sells out by evening. The colorful flowers are very eye-catching. It looks like a flower garden. The delicate petals made of langue de chat dough are carefully placed in plastic cases shaped like flowers to prevent them from crumbling. The cream has a fruity acidity and is delicious, but it might be a bit difficult to eat. It's perfect as a souvenir (^-^)
