I worked in Shingucho, Kasuya District. After finishing work, it's time for lunch. I decided to try "Kome to Sakana" that I found online. It is located on Route 495, at the corner of Shimofu intersection, in a large building called "Shingu Plaza". The building used to be a pachinko parlor or an amusement facility. It stands out with various businesses such as restaurants, karaoke facilities, and gymnastics classes. The restaurant is on the first floor of the building. I parked my car on the rooftop parking lot, took the elevator, and entered the restaurant. The bright and spacious restaurant has a wood-themed decor, with counter seats and tables for two. I visited at 12:20, and although the counter was almost full, I was seated at a table for two as a solo diner. The specialty of this restaurant is the seafood directly delivered from Nagahama Market. I ordered the "Seafood Marinated Set Meal (1,420 yen, tax included)" from the menu. I was served lemon water in a paper cup as a welcome drink. The meal included the main marinated fish, rice, miso soup, pickles, side dishes, chawanmushi, and a choice of natto or raw egg. The marinated fish varied daily, and it had a good amount of bonito, which was delicious. The rice itself was tasty, and they offered free refills. I first enjoyed the marinated fish with the sauce and wasabi, then made a marinated fish bowl with the raw egg for the second serving. I had also requested a spoon when ordering, based on online reviews, which made eating the meal comfortably. Overall, I had a crispy and delicious meal. Thank you for the feast.

I stopped by because there was work nearby. There is a large parking lot and it is easily accessible by car! I arrived around 12:00 on a weekday! There was no wait and I was seated right away! The interior of the restaurant is spacious and clean! I ordered a set meal where you can choose one main dish! I chose the teriyaki grilled yellowtail! In addition to the main dish, the set meal also included sashimi, pickles, chawanmushi, rice, and miso soup for 1310 yen! Everything was very delicious! Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant is a bit pricey for lunch, but the quality of the fish is outstanding! The fresh, fatty, and tender fish goes perfectly with the rice. They offer unlimited tea, water, and dashi broth. I finally found a restaurant that I can't stop going to after a long time! The cost performance is good! The pink thing in the tartar sauce might be kamaboko. It adds a nice touch to the dish. The "Today's sashimi and choice of side dishes series" has a generous portion, so it might be safe for girls to order just one dish. I enjoyed the free dashi soup (agodashi) as a pre-meal soup. Even on rainy days, there is always a queue.

I had always been curious as I passed by, but there was always a long line so I never had the chance to visit until now. I went for the first time on a Saturday morning, and luckily there was no line so I was seated right away at the counter. The bright and lively atmosphere inside the restaurant was welcoming, with plenty of staff members who were energetic and friendly. After some deliberation, I decided to order the sashimi set meal (1970 yen) with an additional upgrade to fish head soup (+180 yen). The sashimi included shrimp, shellfish, salmon, and salmon roe, along with three types of fish that changed daily. The rice, cooked in an earthenware pot, was a highlight of the meal. The restaurant was full and it took about 15 minutes for my meal to arrive. The sashimi set meal looked luxurious and the sashimi slices were thick and fresh. Underneath the vegetables, there was a dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette) hidden. The meal also came with chawanmushi (savory egg custard) and two small side dishes. You could ask for a rice refill. The meal was accompanied by a generous serving of fish head soup in a bowl. The soup was rich and delicious, filled with plenty of fish heads. It was a bit challenging to eat due to the small bones, but it was worth the effort. The soup also had various fish skins, which added a nice texture. The restaurant provided self-service dashi for making ochazuke (tea poured over rice), but I was too full to try it. The side dish that I thought was a vegetable medley turned out to be pickles, which was a pleasant surprise. It had a color similar to oden (Japanese stew), but the taste was more like pickled ginger. It was a mysterious dish but surprisingly tasty. By the time I finished my meal, there was a line of about 15 people outside, indicating the restaurant's popularity. In addition to the sashimi, the donburi (rice bowl) and mixed fry were also popular menu items. I will definitely visit again and try those dishes next time. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I came to IKEA Shinmiya and found this restaurant nearby for lunch (my daughter doesn't like meat, so we wanted a place with fish dishes). I ordered the seared seafood bowl which had scallops, white fish, and salmon in thick slices. Even though my dish was served last, I didn't remember waiting long, but they apologized for the wait and gave me shrimp and egg as a service. I was impressed by how quickly they usually serve dishes! My daughter had the salmon and salmon roe bowl, which was big and had a nice texture. The salmon was served with the skin on, which my daughter didn't seem to like much. I tried it too, and it was okay... I realized I had never seen salmon sashimi with the skin on before. My wife shared the sashimi set with my daughter and seemed to be satisfied even though she was full. They all came with grated yam, and we finished by mixing it well with the rice. I'd like to try their simmered dishes next time. Thank you for the meal!

Today's sashimi and choice of set meal for 1490 yen (excluding tax). I chose grilled mackerel and tonkatsu. Comes with rice cooked in a clay pot, miso soup, chawanmushi, simmered dish, and sashimi. The mackerel was large and had a good amount of oil, very tasty. The tonkatsu was not outstanding but still delicious. The sashimi was thickly sliced and delicious! Recommended for when you want to eat a lot and feel satisfied.

I ordered the Seafood Mix Fry set meal for 1859 yen (tax included). It came with shrimp fry, horse mackerel fry, squid fry, red snapper fry, scallop fry, ham cutlet, cabbage and potato salad fry assortment plate, rice in a clay pot (free refills), miso soup, simmered dish with ginger, chawanmushi, and taro potato. It was a huge meal! The fries were all delicious, but the pinkish tartar sauce was a bit disappointing. Next time, I'll choose something without tartar sauce. My companion said the sashimi was delicious.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and bright, which I liked. However, I was a bit disappointed with the food. The sashimi, rice, and chawanmushi were delicious as expected, but the simmered fish was too sweet with light soy sauce, which was disappointing. The diced beef steak made me question if it was actually beef or spam. The crab cream croquette was heavy on the cream and lacked the taste of crab. Spending over 1500 yen for a set meal with this quality was disappointing. It might be better to stick to dishes like sashimi set meals with rice, miso soup, and chawanmushi, as the name of the restaurant suggests. The menu has a lot of options, but I think focusing on rice and fish dishes would be best.

Shingu "Rice and Fish" Located at the Shingu Shimofu intersection in Shingu, "Rice and Fish" has a nice atmosphere with the claim of being operated directly by Nagahama fresh fish wholesaler. During lunchtime, there is always a line, but one day when I passed by, it happened to be open - so I ordered my usual beer♪ Pickles are all-you-can-eat and go well with the beer. Oh, the lightly seasoned ones are good. I also ordered a side of fried chicken for 490 yen + tax. For children, there is a set meal with a choice of two side dishes for 1,460 yen + tax, with simmered fish head and tonkatsu as the selections - all delicious. My companion had the famous Hakata bowl for 900 yen + tax. The pickles come separately, which means you can enjoy them in three ways: (1) as they are, (2) with condiments, and (3) as ochazuke. On the table, there are original sauces and sesame dressing - oh, it's Fishosuke's shop. Mixed fry set meal? Comes with miso soup and sashimi of Pacific saury. 1530 yen + 160 yen + 500 yen. The fry includes red snapper, horse mackerel, squid, Unzen sausage, shrimp fry, and scallop. Hmm, the shrimp fry was delicious with a nice texture, but the rest was just average. The miso soup had large fish bones which added substance, and the broth itself had good flavor.

I visited this restaurant for the first time after seeing it in a free paper and it looked delicious. When I arrived around 1 pm, there were still people waiting in line outside the restaurant, so I signed my name on the list and waited to be called. I was able to enter the restaurant in about 10 minutes. I had the recommended sashimi set meal, and the sashimi, miso soup, chawanmushi, red miso soup, and rice were all delicious. You can have seconds of rice, so I naturally had seconds and became full. Next time, I will come back to eat the seafood bowl. Thank you for the meal.

This time, on my way back from Chiba Spa Resort, I visited a seafood restaurant that I had been wanting to try for a while. As I was about to pull into the parking lot, the alarm of a luxury car already parked there started blaring... I made eye contact with the owner of the car. I hope they didn't suspect me... With that thought in mind, I entered the restaurant. The precision of the alarm going off was too high, maybe it was triggered by the rain, but it was a bit excessive. Inside, the staff explained the menu and recommended the sashimi set meal to me, so I obediently chose the "Sashimi Set Meal ¥1683-". However, I also really wanted to try the grilled fish, so I ordered the "Today's Grilled Fish ¥649-" and "Natto ¥143-" as well. I changed the miso soup to clear soup for an additional ¥176. The water was served in paper cups, which I found a bit uncomfortable as they tend to get soggy after a while, but it was better than the smell of some places that serve water in glass cups. There was a self-service corner for refills with "Plum Seaweed Furikake" and "Pickled Radish and Carrot", which was nice. I mistook the pickled radish and carrot for oden and was surprised by the taste, but I enjoyed the plum seaweed furikake. The dishes arrived quickly, with both the set meal and the grilled fish coming at the same time, which was unexpected. The rice turned out to be Hinohikari, which I love, so I was glad I ordered extra. The set meal came with seaweed and grated yam, as well as a tea-cup steamed egg, and the clear soup had a large piece of fish head, making it very filling. In the end, I felt like I didn't need the grilled fish, but it was still delicious. It's a bit far from my home, so I might not have many chances to visit again, but if I come to Chiba Spa Resort, I would definitely stop by again.

I have always passed by this restaurant and wanted to try it someday. Today, I finally went with my family. My wife ordered the "Tuna Bowl" and I ordered the "Choose Your Side Dish Set." The boiled fish was horse mackerel and the grilled fish was cutlassfish, both were delicious. The set also came with chawanmushi, sashimi, and unlimited pickles. It's a great restaurant. The restaurant is located along Route 495, and for those driving, there is a rooftop parking available. The menu mainly focuses on seafood, and the self-serve side dishes like kimchi-style radish were delicious. It felt like I was traveling to Baekje or Silla. The main seafood dishes were very fresh and delicious. The chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) was so soft that I had to take out my dentures and eat it with just my gums.

I felt like eating fish and decided to try "Nagahama Sengyo Oroshi Chokueiten Kome to Sakana" that I found on Tabelog. The store opens at 11 am. I arrived 5 minutes before opening, thinking it might be crowded on a Sunday. As a result, I was the first in line. After that, more and more people arrived. In about 20 minutes, all seats were filled, and when we left, there were about 2 groups waiting. We were seated at the back table in the beautiful store. Since it was my first visit, the staff explained how to choose from the menu. I ordered the "Sashimi Gozen" for 1530 yen, and my wife ordered the "Today's Sashimi and Choice of Side Dish Gozen 1 set (with simmered fish)" for 1160 yen, with a change to Hamachi pickled rice bowl (plus 200 yen). The sashimi had a good presentation and a luxurious atmosphere. Perhaps my expectations were too high, as it tasted average. But considering the generous portion and free rice refill, it was a good value. Due to my low-carb diet, I had less rice and did not ask for a refill. My wife enjoyed the pickled rice bowl. The simmered fish was a bit disappointing. They seem to have a focus on their rice, which was delicious. They also offer dishes like oyakodon and katsudon, and in the evening, they have a variety of appetizers, so I'd like to go for drinks. It seems like a place with a wide range of offerings. There is a new seafood restaurant near the former Seven Eleven at Shingu Dome. I arrived at 1 pm and the place was about one-third full. There were around 16 customers seated at tables. The menu offers a variety of fish and meat dishes, with the restaurant specializing in fish. I ordered the cheapest option, the customizable seafood set meal, for 1276 yen. Most menu items are priced over 1000 yen, with an average cost of around 1500 yen. The boiled fish dish was excellent, even though I don't usually eat boiled fish. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be served, but overall, I was very satisfied with my experience at this seafood specialty restaurant.

This region didn't have it! A fish set meal restaurant!! How wonderful!! The water is lemon water, which is refreshing!! This time, I had a seafood bowl and a pork cutlet bowl. The seafood bowl came with dressing, which was perfect with the sashimi. And it even came with seaweed, which was amazing! The miso soup had a rich flavor, not like the overcooked taste you often find in mediocre places! The quality of the ingredients makes me want to come back again in the future! And the pork cutlet bowl! If you underestimate it, you'll be surprised! "What is this pork cutlet?!" I was taken aback. The fishmonger's pork cutlet bowl!! The well-fried cutlet had a satisfying texture! It's better than the average pork cutlet bowl place and even better than the pork cutlet bowls at mediocre udon restaurants! The fact that you can have unlimited rice refills is also a great impression! And the menu with all-you-can-eat side dishes was another surprise! This place is top-notch! I'll definitely go back!
