Visited Yakitori Tokei for the first time in the evening on a public holiday! I heard about this place from a close friend who enjoys food walking, and they said it was very delicious! So, I made a reservation in advance and went there. The restaurant is located at 1-7-8 Yoshidahommachi, Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture, on the 1st floor of the 2nd Takayama Heights. It is a 10-minute walk from Yoshida Station on the Chuo Line and a 10-minute walk from Hanazono Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. At the time of the visit, the score on Tabelog was 3.52. Inside the restaurant, there are 8 seats at the L-shaped counter, 2 tables for 4 people each, and private rooms. I was seated in front of the charcoal grill in the center of the counter. The chef told me that they use Hinaidori and Miyazaki Jitokko local chickens. They prepare the chicken meticulously, dehydrate it, skewer it beautifully, and grill it with Kishu Binchotan charcoal to enjoy authentic yakitori. When asking how to order, the style is to order an omakase course and a la carte. The Yakitori Omakase set includes 7 types of yakitori and 1 vegetable, grated daikon, 2 chopstick rest dishes, and chicken soup. We started with a cheers with a lemon shochu highball. The dishes we had included sashimi assortment, chicken tataki, chicken breast with wasabi, white liver simmered at low temperature, chicken gizzard, white lotus root, oboro tofu, bonjiri, negima, tebasaki, green asparagus, Jitokko chicken frankfurter, tsukune cheese, tsukune, seseri, chicken heart, chicken neck, Nara Gojo shiitake mushroom, chicken soboro rice with raw egg, chicken broth ramen with soy sauce, and chicken bone soup. We also added more grilled items, and everything was so delicious that we ate too much! The dishes that left a strong impression were the white liver simmered at low temperature and the tsukune cheese. We shared the last two dishes with my wife, and the chicken soboro rice with raw egg and the chicken broth ramen with soy sauce were also very delicious! It seems that they also share information about available seats on Instagram! Thank you for reading until the end! Your likes, saves, and follows would be greatly appreciated as they are encouraging!
