I visited "Yakitori Toki" on this day. The restaurant is located in Yoshida Honcho, Higashi Osaka City, a 15-minute walk from Yoshida Station on the Subway Chuo Line, or a 15-minute walk from Hanazono Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. I took the subway to get to the restaurant on the day of my visit. Despite making a reservation in advance for the weekend, a meeting ran late, so I had to push back my arrival time. The staff kindly agreed to accommodate the delay, and I arrived at the restaurant about an hour later than planned. I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate their understanding. The restaurant is located on the first floor of an apartment building, with a lovely exterior and a spacious interior layout featuring a counter on the right surrounding the kitchen, table seating on the left, and private rooms at the back. I sat at the counter near the grilling station and ordered the Yakitori Omakase 7-item course for 3500 yen, with many additional items. The course included various dishes, and I also had a variety of drinks. The owner, who has no formal training in yakitori, has mastered the craft through self-study, which was quite surprising. The restaurant mainly uses three types of chicken: "Takahara Hinai Jidori" from Akita, "Jitou Jidori" from Miyazaki, and "Hakata Jidori" from Fukuoka. The highlight was the "Takahara Hinai Jidori," a rare and high-quality chicken breed in Kansai. The chicken is raised in cages to maintain hygiene and tenderness, resulting in a unique flavor and texture. Overall, I enjoyed a wide variety of delicious dishes and drinks at Yakitori Toki.

Today, I visited a certain yakitori restaurant in Kobe recommended by the trusted owner. I made a reservation in advance and went there. The restaurant mainly offers set courses, with a variety of sashimi, side dishes, and a la carte menu items available. I ordered the 4730 yen course and chicken liver sashimi. I started with beer and then switched to cold sake. Here is what I had: - Appetizer: Akita's bracken with summer vegetables like asparagus, eggplant, okra, zucchini. - Chicken Tataki: Crispy skin with rare chicken breast, served with ponzu sauce. - Chicken liver sashimi: White liver and heart, seasoned with sesame oil and light snow salt. - Kokoro: Heart skewered and grilled, juicy and delicious. - Demon grated daikon: Refreshing palate cleanser, refillable. - Sand gizzard: Crunchy texture. - Tofu with cream: Palate cleanser. - Seseri: Grilled chicken neck, seasoned with salt. - Asparagus: From Kagawa Prefecture, sweet and tender. - Negima: Juicy and flavorful. - Tebasaki: Grilled chicken wings, piping hot. - Steamed vegetables: Winter melon from Wakayama, topped with meat miso and sweet long green pepper. - Tsukune: Choice of salt, tare, poached egg, or cheese. I chose poached egg and added more. - Back liver: Unexpected white liver. - Liver: Chicken liver. - Chouchin: Additional dish for finishing. - Chicken ramen. - Gelato. Overall, it was delicious! The chicken used was Hinaidori, a high-quality breed also used in restaurants like Ishi I and Miki Tori Shin-Kobe. The chef skillfully controlled the distance and intensity of the flames, resulting in perfectly cooked chicken that bursts with juice when you bite into it. The drinks were reasonably priced as well. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Visit date and time: 19:30 on Saturday Waiting time: Reservation Menu: Yakitori Omakase Course 4,730 yen + additional + drink I felt like eating yakitori, so I made a same-day reservation and visited. I drove there and got caught in traffic, but managed to arrive just in time. I was able to park my car in the parking lot in front of the shop. They only offer yakitori as part of the omakase course, and you can order individual yakitori items after finishing the course. They showed me the ingredients for the omakase course at the beginning and we started. A side dish that I ordered separately came first, followed by the yakitori from the course. The liver and tsukune were particularly delicious. Considering the quality, I think the cost performance is really good. Thank you for the meal.

The price is around 6000 yen per person (including course and drinks). No waiting time for reservations. It's a bit far from Yoshida Station, more than 15 minutes walk. The atmosphere is calm. The taste of the grilled chicken is average. Personally, I was happy to find plum-flavored chicken breast, which I like. The portion size is generous and the service is quick, so I am satisfied.

At Yoshida Station, there is a yakitori restaurant where you can order an omakase course and a la carte style. They first show you all the skewers, which is a unique experience. I don't often have the chance to go to Higashi Osaka, but I would definitely go again for this. The food was delicious. Thank you for the meal. #Gourmet #OsakaGourmet #Yoshida #BGradeGourmet #Foodie #Foodstagram #HardToBookRestaurant #HungryDiary #Yakitori

Visited Yakitori Tokei for the first time in the evening on a public holiday! I heard about this place from a close friend who enjoys food walking, and they said it was very delicious! So, I made a reservation in advance and went there. The restaurant is located at 1-7-8 Yoshidahommachi, Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture, on the 1st floor of the 2nd Takayama Heights. It is a 10-minute walk from Yoshida Station on the Chuo Line and a 10-minute walk from Hanazono Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. At the time of the visit, the score on Tabelog was 3.52. Inside the restaurant, there are 8 seats at the L-shaped counter, 2 tables for 4 people each, and private rooms. I was seated in front of the charcoal grill in the center of the counter. The chef told me that they use Hinaidori and Miyazaki Jitokko local chickens. They prepare the chicken meticulously, dehydrate it, skewer it beautifully, and grill it with Kishu Binchotan charcoal to enjoy authentic yakitori. When asking how to order, the style is to order an omakase course and a la carte. The Yakitori Omakase set includes 7 types of yakitori and 1 vegetable, grated daikon, 2 chopstick rest dishes, and chicken soup. We started with a cheers with a lemon shochu highball. The dishes we had included sashimi assortment, chicken tataki, chicken breast with wasabi, white liver simmered at low temperature, chicken gizzard, white lotus root, oboro tofu, bonjiri, negima, tebasaki, green asparagus, Jitokko chicken frankfurter, tsukune cheese, tsukune, seseri, chicken heart, chicken neck, Nara Gojo shiitake mushroom, chicken soboro rice with raw egg, chicken broth ramen with soy sauce, and chicken bone soup. We also added more grilled items, and everything was so delicious that we ate too much! The dishes that left a strong impression were the white liver simmered at low temperature and the tsukune cheese. We shared the last two dishes with my wife, and the chicken soboro rice with raw egg and the chicken broth ramen with soy sauce were also very delicious! It seems that they also share information about available seats on Instagram! Thank you for reading until the end! Your likes, saves, and follows would be greatly appreciated as they are encouraging!

We visited the restaurant to celebrate our daughter's elementary school graduation, as per her request. We enjoyed a course of yakitori along with various side dishes and Japanese sake to celebrate. Everything was delicious, but the yakitori course was particularly well-balanced and enjoyable.

This is a very precious high-quality restaurant in this area. The menu was overall delicious. My friend and I were talking about how good restaurants usually have tasty dishes because of their dedication to flavor. On the other hand, in restaurants that are not so good, everything you eat is mediocre. This restaurant was definitely the former. When we left, we were the last customers, and the owner came out to the front to help us with parking and even guided us out onto the road. It was very kind of them. I will definitely visit again.

On this day in February 2023, I visited Tori, a yakitori restaurant located in Higashi-Osaka, Osaka with a rating of 3.51 on Tabelog. Although it is a bit far from the city center, I couldn't resist checking it out. I ordered the 3850 yen 7-piece set course along with a sashimi assortment. The course included many dishes, so even those who can't wait for the course can enjoy various items. The tebasaki (chicken wings) and tsukune (chicken meatballs) were delicious! I had eaten a lot for lunch that day, so I didn't order a proper ending dish, but they had a wide variety of options for those who still had room in their stomachs. Overall, it was delicious and I had a great meal. The dishes I had that day were as follows: Saga Prefecture's steamed white lotus root, zuri toro with ponzu sauce, sashimi assortment (liver, zuri toro, zuri, sasami, kokoro, kizushi), sasami with wasabi, zuri, white lotus root, bonjiri (tail meat), tofu, negima (chicken and leek skewers), tebasaki, potato potage with Shizuoka-grown pea cabbage and rapeseed blossoms, additional chicken bone soup, tomato, hatsu (chicken heart), se liver.

Located in a quiet residential area in Higashi-Osaka, Toridori Torikou specializes in grilling free-range chickens over binchotan charcoal. The chef, Kosuke Morinaga, sources high-quality chickens such as Higashimono Hinai Jidori and Miyazaki Jitokko, and prepares them meticulously before grilling them to perfection over Kishu binchotan charcoal. The cozy restaurant features a stylish interior with a 16-seat L-shaped counter, 2 table seats, and 2 private rooms. During my visit, I was impressed by the warm and humble hospitality of Chef Morinaga. The dishes, including the liver pate and tsukune, were exceptionally delicious and some of the best I've ever had. The ingredients are carefully selected, and even the vegetables are of top quality. Some of the highlights of the meal were the Nebari star grated Hokkaido yam, the Higashimono Hinai chicken breast tataki, and the liver pate with balsamic vinegar. The grilled items such as the bonjiri, negima, and tebasaki were juicy and flavorful, with a perfect balance of textures. The meal ended with a comforting dish of chicken and ginger with Saga Shiraishi-cho lotus root and Hokkaido Nebari star rice cooked in a clay pot. The gentle flavors of the dish were a perfect conclusion to the delightful dining experience. Overall, Toridori Torikou offers a high level of grilled chicken dishes at a reasonable price, making it a hidden gem in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious yakitori in Osaka.

I made a reservation to enjoy delicious food at a year-end party at home. I tried the "Free-range Chicken White Broth Hot Pot" which can only be ordered with a reservation. The chicken meat included thigh, wing, and breast. The chicken meat was incredibly delicious. I was surprised to see watercress as one of the ingredients. The vegetables, especially the leeks, were delicious. We also had ramen and porridge as the finishing touch. In addition to the hot pot, we also ordered several skewers of grilled chicken and were very satisfied.

I was brought here by someone related to work. Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious, with a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service. The restaurant was clean and I enjoyed my meal. It's quite far, so it might be difficult to come back soon, but I would like to visit again if the opportunity arises. Thank you for the meal.

Oh, the interior is beautiful. The omakase yakitori set with 7 types for 3200 yen was delicious. The chicken sashimi was amazing as soon as it touched my tongue! Now I want to try Goichi-san's sashimi too. The sashimi platter was fresh and beautifully presented. The skewers were big and had a great texture, it was impressive. The chicken tail was juicy and had a nice bounce to it. The ginkgo nuts were different from the others, I heard some things about them but I forgot what it was. The salad had a nice touch of bitterness that worked well. However, the white wine I ordered by the bottle had too much of a unique taste and didn't go well with the food at all, which was disappointing. Nonetheless, the prices were reasonable, the passion of the staff was evident, and I can see this yakitori restaurant becoming even more popular in the future! Thank you for the meal. #YoshidaGourmet #HigashiOsakaGourmet #Yakitori #KishuBinchotan #MiyazakiChicken #AdachiTabelog 4.0

The food here is really delicious! I've been recommended this place for a while but never had the chance to go until now. It was my first time getting off at Yoshida Station. I ordered the assorted yakitori with 7 types, chicken breast sushi, sashimi platter, and a few additional skewers. I chose the cheese flavor for the tsukune (chicken meatball) and got a mountain of it. Everything, from the appetizers to the skewers, was delicious! I couldn't help but say "yum" after every bite. After eating all that and having some drinks, the bill came out to be around 6000 yen per person... Is the cost of living here like in Southeast Asia?

Hello there! It's been a while since I've been to Tori Kizoku. I ordered the chef's choice skewers with some additional a la carte dishes. It's my favorite! The Higa powder is ready! Today's skewers were delicious. The chicken liver pate was tasty, and the chicken wings were juicy. The white meat sashimi was refreshing. The tsukune with cheese was mouthwatering. The soup was comforting. The grilled rice ball was a nice touch. Enjoying authentic yakitori at the counter was a great experience. Thank you for the meal. See you next time!

I didn't know there was such a delicious yakitori restaurant in Yoshida, Higashi Osaka! Until someone told me about it, I had no idea. The skewers are delicious, and the side dishes are also amazing. They pay attention to the ingredients and you can tell they put a lot of care into their work. The finishing dish is also excellent, and the ramen tastes like it's from a specialty shop. It's a bit hard to get to without a car, but it's definitely worth a visit.

The day before Father's Day, my father, mother, wife, daughter, and I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. We were seated in a semi-private room at the back, where we could relax. We ordered the omakase 9-piece yakitori course and added a few more items. Everything we ate was incredibly tender and delicious. Even my parents, who are over 80 years old, praised the food. The only thing that wasn't to our liking was the rice cooked in a clay pot. It had a slightly overpowering chicken fat flavor that made us feel our age. However, everything else was to our liking and delicious.

I wanted to eat delicious yakitori, so I visited this restaurant. I tried to make a reservation by phone several times before visiting, but each time it was fully booked and I couldn't make a reservation. Finally, I was able to make a reservation and visit. It seems that the restaurant has recently been renovated and transformed into a very beautiful place. As for the taste, everything was delicious and exceeded the level of East Osaka in terms of deliciousness. Not only the yakitori, but also the ramen and sashimi (tataki) were delicious. Also, I had a lot of sake after a long time, and it was so delicious that I ended up letting loose.

I had always heard that there was a delicious yakitori restaurant in Higashi-Osaka, but I never had the chance to go because it was far away. However, this time I was invited and finally made my long-awaited first visit! I was surprised to find a clean and calm space when I opened the door, despite imagining a more casual restaurant. I sat at the counter and quickly ordered some menu items: - Tamago tofu (appetizer) - Chicken sashimi - Assorted sashimi platter (including liver, gizzard, tenderloin, breast meat, heart, and breast meat sushi) - Daikon radish with grated daikon - Tempting liver pate - Assorted yakitori skewers (9 types) - Watercress salad - Asparagus with truffle butter - Cabbage pickles - Rape blossom tempura - Chicken soboro rice - Chicken soup. The food was delicious and the service was great. If there was a restaurant like this in my neighborhood, I would definitely be a regular customer. The standout dishes of the day were the tenderloin skewers with crispy and juicy skin, and the irresistible liver pate. I highly recommend trying them out!

I love yakitori, and this restaurant is truly amazing without any favoritism. Each skewer is so delicious. The grilling technique is so skillful that even a novice like me can appreciate it. No need for further words. Looking at the photos again, the food looks so tasty. I will definitely visit again. This hidden gem in Higashi Osaka is a must-try! It was really delicious! Thank you for the meal today!
