Personal matter but I moved to Kyushu - Kitakyushu City about 8 months ago. During this short period, I have had the opportunity to eat various sashimi at various restaurants in Kitakyushu City, but as someone who loves tuna the most, I have hardly had the chance to eat "tuna" sashimi in Kitakyushu City. Even when I tell the staff at the restaurants I frequent that I want to eat tuna, they say that people in Kitakyushu don't eat much tuna. Feeling disappointed, I recently saw that MyRebi-sama had reviewed this restaurant and it was a tuna restaurant (*゚∀゚*). I immediately visited the restaurant located in the Tanga Market in Kokura, Kitakyushu City. Since it seemed like it was going to rain, I drove there, but there was no parking lot in the market, so I parked at a nearby coin parking lot. When I stood in front of the restaurant, I saw a sign that said "Kyushu Tuna" (^ν^). It's great! Kyushu tuna, leave it to me! ( ∗ᵒ̶̶̷ω˂̶́∗)੭₎₎̊₊♡. The bald staff member at the restaurant entrance called out loudly, "How about it? It's delicious! Please come in and eat!" On the way there, I thought that since Kitakyushu is currently in the midst of the coronavirus, it might be better to take out, but the staff told me that I could also eat inside the restaurant. When I looked inside, there were only two other customers. With this much space available, I decided to eat inside rather than take out. I told the staff that I would eat inside, and they showed me the menu inside. I love akami and otoro, but I love chutoro the most (*థ౪థ*). I saw a menu item called "Chutoro Don" on the menu. Without consciously looking at the other menu items, I said to the staff, "Chutoro Don, please." Later, I saw that it was 2000 yen. It's a bit expensive, but oh well... (⌒-⌒; ). I sipped the tea that was served to me. Looking at the menu again, I saw that all the menu items were made with tuna. I decided to savor and make up for not having eaten much tuna in Kitakyushu until now. The chutoro donburi that arrived (^ν^) had a beautiful color and fatty texture. It was sprinkled with sesame seeds and served with large leaves and seaweed. I made wasabi soy sauce and tasted it. It melted softly in my mouth. Of course, there were no tough parts, and the umami and fat melted gently on my tongue. This chutoro was merciless (・ㅂ・)و ̑̑. It was delicious. I quickly finished the bowl (*´Д`*). The staff were all friendly, and even to someone like me, they asked with a smile, "Where are you from?" I'm from Orio. When I answered, they said, "Thank you for coming all this way. This is akami, if you'd like, you can try it as well," and they gave me three pieces as a service. The akami was also delicious (^^). There were no tough parts or fishy smell, only the umami spread in my mouth. I finished all the remaining tea and said thank you (^ν^). I paid 2000 yen with PayPay. They said to come back again with a smile, and I also responded with a smile. I will probably visit this restaurant frequently in the future. Thank you for the meal.
