The volcano-themed restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so fun. I highly recommend it.

On the way back from a business trip to Otaru. Made a little detour (^^; It was so hot on this day too... (>_<) The bear farm in Noboribetsu is famous, but there is also a bear farm on Showa Shinzan. There is a shop at the ropeway entrance, and for some reason they sell "Yubari melon soft serve ice cream" here. The sign says "Delicious Bear~". The soft serve ice cream is named "Umai Bear" in Hokkaido dialect, which is quite a dad joke. Feeding the bears at the bear ranch is fun! Right now, they only have cookies. In the fall, they have apples. But when you throw it to the bears, they skillfully catch and eat it, which is delightful! You can also feed the bears cookies from below.
