On this day, I was aiming to visit a newly opened store, but I happened to see a ramen lantern along the way, so I changed my plans and decided to visit this place instead. The signboard says it's a Korean home cooking and izakaya. When I entered the restaurant a little after 9:00 at night, there were no other customers inside. A detective drama was playing on the TV. The ramen menu seemed to have two types: a light salt flavor and a spicy one, so I ordered both as well as a side of rice. The spiciness was not too strong. The ramen was served after a short wait, and the soup had an orange hue, looking quite spicy. When I tasted the soup, I could feel a relatively strong animal-based flavor, and the spiciness was moderate, making me cough a bit when I accidentally slurped the noodles. There was a slight acidity in the taste, reminiscent of spicy ramen. The noodles were medium-sized straight noodles with a slightly yellowish color, not too firm but not too soft either. The toppings included bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, and scrambled eggs, generously added. The varying textures added a nice touch. As I continued eating, the spiciness became quite noticeable. Mixing the rice into the soup created a taste similar to kuppabap, which I found quite enjoyable. Overall, it felt like Korean-style ramen from a Korean cuisine restaurant, and I was satisfied with the bowl. Thank you for the meal.
