Shrimp paradise. Shrimp tempura, shrimp and mochi tempura, shrimp and chikuwa tempura. Served with grated daikon, chopped green onions, seaweed, and lemon. The shrimp and mochi tempura lacked flavor, while the shrimp and chikuwa tempura had a subtle sweetness. We enjoyed dipping the tempura in salt and fresh soy sauce. The tempura was decent but not as good as the quality of the udon. As always, the udon was delicious.

I visited the restaurant with my second son after 6:00 PM. It was a bit difficult to find parking. Since it was my first time there, I asked the staff for recommendations. I saw a menu hanging on the wall with recommended dishes that were not the usual ones. Among the regular menu items, the "Chicken Tempura Udon" made with chicken thigh meat was said to be juicy, but from the recommended section on the wall, there was "Awaji Chicken" which included breast and tenderloin, known to be soft. So, I chose the "Awaji Chicken" and also ordered the "Tempura Zaru" dish. The basic style seemed to be more like a "bukkake" style, with both hot and cold options available. If you choose the hot option, the udon and the dipping sauce will also be warm. My impression was that the udon was exquisite. It might be the best I've ever had. It surpassed my recent favorite udon place. As for the tempura, my recent favorite place might be slightly better. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal. The udon here is delicious!

Today's weekday lunch was at "Ittettsu" near the Kongo Station on the Nankai Koya Line along Route 310. We arrived a little after 12:30 pm. There were three empty parking spaces in front of the store, and we were lucky to find a spot. The wait time was only a few minutes. The restaurant had mostly tables for two, so it didn't seem like a place for large groups. We ordered the medium-sized Warm Tamago Bukkake with half of Chikuwa Tempura for 960 yen. The Warm Tamago Bukkake came with onsen tamago, grated daikon radish, green onions, chopped seaweed, and sesame seeds on top. The noodles were shiny, thick, soft yet firm. The broth was delicious, and we finished it in no time. It was too hot to have soup, so we opted for bukkake, but I wanted to enjoy the taste of the broth next time, so I plan to try kake udon. Thank you for the meal. We will visit again!

I visited around 8:20 pm on a regular weekday night. Since it was just before the last order, I was able to get in quickly as there was only one group inside. I ordered the Awaji chicken tempura udon (cold). The Awaji chicken is made from breast meat but it was so juicy and tender that it didn't feel like breast meat at all. The tempura coating was crispy and delicious, whether eaten with salt or dipped in the udon broth. The udon noodles had a nice chewiness to them, and you could really taste the flavor of the wheat in the aftertaste. Truly deserving of being one of the top 100 udon shops in 2023. With a variety of options available, I definitely want to come back to this place again!

When it's hot, cold udon is the way to go! I went to eat some the other day. I had the Niku Oroshi Bukkake Udon for 1270 yen. The raw egg really added a nice touch - mixing the yolk in made it even more delicious. The meat was also well seasoned and tasty. It was sooo good! Thank you for the meal! I had always been interested in this place but it was always full so I had given up. But on this day, I was lucky! I was able to get a seat. I ordered a large portion of warm egg over rice with cold tempura topping. Without hesitation, I dug in! My first impression was that the taste was simply elegant. There was no roughness, just a refined taste. It was delicious and I think I'm going to be hooked!

★Ordered the Chicken Tempura Cold Udon (1,000 yen) and Bara Sushi (250 yen). Arrived at 7:34 pm, no wait, served at 8 pm. Parking is available in front of the restaurant, with a second parking lot nearby. Visited Osaka Sayama City for work and found this place through a search. The interior is clean and the service was polite and pleasant. The udon was incredibly delicious, and the chicken tempura was perfectly fried and tasty. Generous portions and great value for the price. Definitely a place I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Tabelog Udon WEST Top 100 in Western Japan 2022 Ranking: 84th out of 100 Total Tabelog Rating: 3.71 Visit Date: June 24, 2023, Saturday, 11:00 Order: - Shoyu Cold Udon 650 yen + Noodle Extra Large 2 servings 180 yen + Half Chikuwa Tempura 140 yen - Toriten Bukkake Cold Udon 1,000 yen + Medium Extra 1.5 servings 100 yen Arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before opening and luckily found the parking lot empty. There was one group of customers waiting in front of the store, but once more people started arriving, the parking lot quickly filled up and a waiting line formed. Shortly after opening, the restaurant was full and a waiting list was created. They use a waiting board system inside the restaurant, so there's no need to line up outside. The situation right after opening looked promising! The udon arrived - the noodles were medium thickness with a glossy surface, chewy and firm with a good texture. The broth for the Bukkake Udon had a unique sweetness reminiscent of bonito flakes, not the typical sweet broth, and had a mysterious flavor with hints of anchovy that made it incredibly delicious! The soy sauce was also carefully selected, with a rich and elegant flavor that I would want to buy for home use if possible. The Toriten (chicken tempura) was larger than usual, juicy, and very tasty. I've never found the fried chicken at top ramen shops to be particularly delicious, but the chicken tempura at top udon shops like this one is always juicy and flavorful. The service was efficient with plenty of staff, providing attentive and polite service. The quality of the noodles, broth, soy sauce, and Toriten was comparable to top udon shops in Osaka, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially for a top 100 udon shop. It's no wonder they were full right after opening and had a long waiting list.

I came to Osaka Sayama City to eat udon. There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant, but be careful when parking as there is quite a lot of traffic. It seems like the restaurant is run by a family, as the staff and some customers, who seem like students, are chatting happily. The atmosphere is very homey, with regular customers coming in one after another. Luckily, I got a seat right away. I ordered the warm tamago bukkake udon. I also got a single shrimp tempura and beef tendon bowl udon. The udon has a strong chewy texture, very much like Sanuki udon, with a satisfying bite. The broth is flavorful and delicious. Mixing the warm egg with the noodles is so rich and tasty. Grating some daikon radish and squeezing sudachi citrus on top gives a refreshing touch. You can enjoy various flavors. The shrimp tempura is crispy and delicious, perfect for dipping in the broth. The beef tendon bowl is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Mixing it with the runny egg is a guaranteed delight. This place is on par with top udon restaurants in Kagawa. A great restaurant!

Revisited a popular udon restaurant in Osaka Sayama City. Arrived at 11 am on a weekday when they opened, and the place quickly filled up with customers. The variety of options made it hard to choose, but I ended up ordering the cold udon topped with Awaji chicken breast tempura. When it arrived, I dug in and found the firm noodles delicious. The tempura was crispy with the ingredients' moisture sealed in, making it tasty. I enjoyed changing up the flavors with lemon, matcha salt, curry salt, and dipping sauce. I also bought some noodles and udon broth to go, which turned out to be delicious with a strong bonito flavor. I look forward to trying their hot udon and tempura next time. Thank you for the meal!

My wife and I went to Ittei-san for lunch after a long time. I found this udon restaurant on Tabelog near us with high ratings and the label of being one of the top 100 restaurants. There was a line, so we had to wait a bit before being seated in a tatami room. I ordered the large portion of Mencuikibukkake udon, while my wife ordered the Bukkake udon. When the dishes arrived, I observed that the noodles were glossy and the dashi broth had a nice fragrance. The udon was undeniably delicious. The noodles had a chewy texture, a satisfying bite, and a smooth throat feel. The dashi broth was rich and flavorful. We also ordered chicken tempura, which was hot and juicy, and incredibly tasty. When my wife poured the sudachi vinegar that came with her Bukkake udon, it added a nice twist to the flavor. The sudachi vinegar was exceptionally delicious. Located near Kongo Station on the Nankai Koya Line in Osaka Sayama City, this udon restaurant is one of the top 100 in the area. The Kama-tama butter udon was a perfect match with its rich and chewy noodles. They also offer a variety of ingredients such as Awaji chicken tempura and young bamboo shoots, all sourced from different regions and seasons, making the dishes incredibly delicious.

This is my second visit. I parked my car nervously in the small parking lot. I remembered that the portion was quite large when I ordered the tempura udon the first time, so this time I went for the cold udon with mixed toppings. (The photo doesn't do justice, the udon looks small, but it's actually a regular size.) The noodles were smooth with a good texture and very delicious! Squeezing lemon over it gave a refreshing taste, perfect for a hot day. I am now convinced that I like Itten's udon the best. Looking around, many people were ordering the zaru udon and tempura combo set (probably a limited-time offer) and it looked delicious... Next time, I will order that with an empty stomach.

Visited at 12:30 on a weekday. Both the parking lot in front of the shop and the one a little further away were full, so I had to wait for a while for a spot to open up. Finally got inside around 1:00, and realized that even on a weekday, this place is quite popular. Ordered the "Toriten Bukkake" for 1,000 yen. The noodles had a strong chewy texture and were slightly thick, allowing for a satisfying bite. The broth, which seemed to be made with mackerel flakes, had a great flavor that paired perfectly with the noodles. Customers started coming in slowly since opening [Order] Verbally ordered the limited edition Awaji chicken tempura cold udon for 1,020 yen and a mini gyudon with dashi for 480 yen. The cold udon is a Sanuki-style dish with a wheat-scented, chewy thick noodle. The toppings include morning-pulled chicken breast tempura, snow pea tempura, and kamaboko. Pork loin with raw soy sauce udon - I arrived late for my visit with the intention of eating cold shrimp tempura on udon, so there was no wait, but the restaurant was almost full, it's a popular place. When I saw the limited menu posted on the wall, there were options like shiso natto, beef, Awaji Island chicken, and pork loin? Pork loin on udon? Intrigued, I ordered the pork loin. The udon arrived with a surprising four pieces of pork loin tempura, and hidden among them was a quiet sweet potato tempura. It was different from what I had imagined! The portion was generous! The udon was shining beautifully. I immediately tried a bite of the pork loin as is, and I was shocked! It was not only tender, but also juicy, with a burst of meat juice with every bite. Additionally, you could enjoy flavor variations with soy sauce, grated radish, lemon, mustard, and shichimi. The combination of udon and pork loin was flawless, and I was in a trance! Especially the mustard recommended by the restaurant paired perfectly with the pork loin and raw soy sauce! The sweet potato was hot and fluffy, with a hint of sweetness from the potato. Oh, this place is not just about the deliciousness of the udon, the tempura is also outstanding! The udon was ideal, with a chewy and firm texture, allowing you to directly savor the udon's flavor with raw soy sauce. The compatibility with the tempura was beyond words! It was exquisite! After a long time, I went to "Ittettsu" again. Luckily, there was one parking space available in front of the store. My order: "Ebi-sanmai" Bukkake Hiyashi (medium size) with chicken tempura topping. My companion's order: "Ebi-sanmai" Udon. First, I poured a little broth over the noodles to make them smooth. The perfect balance between the glossy and firm noodles with a strong texture was spot on. The sweetness and texture of the shrimp and fish cake tempura were indescribably delicious. The chicken tempura, which is a must-try here, was also as delicious as ever. It was a completely satisfying lunch.

I had a feast of shrimp at this restaurant. It was a bowl of shrimp tempura, shrimp rice cake, and shrimp-stuffed fish cake. You can choose between cold or hot broth. The udon noodles are delicious, but the tempura really stands out with its use of good oil. The shrimp rice cake and shrimp-stuffed fish cake were so good that I wish I could buy them separately to take home.

I arrived at the restaurant at 2:00 PM on Monday. I sat at the large table in the middle of the restaurant and ordered plain udon with tempura flakes, green onions, lemon as toppings. I wanted to taste the flavor of the udon itself, so this was perfect. The udon was delicious. I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. The parking lot at the second parking area seems to be quieter and easier to park in.
