I had a ramen set at the Chinese restaurant "Sui Ka" located in the Chitose Outlet Mall Rera at 1-2-1 Kashiwadai Minami 1-chome, Chitose City. The set included a small ramen, small fried rice, dim sum, salad, dessert, and pickled vegetables. The small ramen was soy sauce flavored with green onions, bean sprouts, and char siu. The small fried rice was moist and well-seasoned. The dim sum (shumai) and dessert were delicious, with almond jelly for dessert. The restaurant is spacious with Chinese staff. The menu offers a variety of ramen options such as salt, soy sauce, and miso, as well as other dishes like ankake yakisoba. I ordered the ramen set which was a good value, but there are also other set menus available. Overall, it was a satisfying meal at Chitose Outlet Mall Rera.

2023.8 has finally arrived! Golden Week is here! Taro's kindergarten summer vacation has started, so my wife took Taro to visit her hometown in Obihiro. This means unlimited food log activities for me! We met up with my in-laws at the Chitose Outlet Mall Rera. It's a bit tough to make a round trip in one day from Hakodate to Obihiro, but from Hakodate to Chitose, it's manageable. Taro is thrilled to see his grandparents again. It's been a while since I've been to Chitose Outlet Mall Rera, and I noticed that more than two-thirds of the tenants are "coming soon" shops. I wonder if this "coming soon" trend is popular now? I tried to peek inside these shops, but for some reason, they weren't open. Let's get back to the review of "Chinese Restaurant Suihua." The mall was quiet, and the restaurant had about 20% occupancy at lunchtime. It seems like the restaurant is operated by people from the mainland. The service is in Japanese, but when placing orders with the chef in the kitchen, they speak in a mainland language, like the style of a Chinese restaurant. My mother-in-law, who is particular about cleanliness, didn't seem to like this restaurant much. The BBQ pork fried rice costs 810 yen (excluding tax). Despite being tax-exclusive, the portion is generous and filled with chunks of BBQ pork. The flavor is just right with a good soy sauce taste, and the frying is well done. Overall, the fried rice was quite delicious! There are some things that concern me other than the food, but the quality of the fried rice was satisfying!

"Lunch at Sui Ka!" You've now visited all of Lera's food and beverage establishments. Unfortunately, Sakurajima closed before you could go, and I really wanted to try their ramen... The restaurant is spacious, but there were only three customers, including me. Lera's weekends may not be bustling, but here... I wonder what it's like on weekdays. I ordered the "Sui Ka Special Donburi (¥924)"! This dish is a greedy bowl with shrimp chili, sweet and sour pork, and zangi all in one! You can enjoy both shrimp chili and sweet and sour pork in one go! The menu also includes vegetables, soup, salad, and pickles, making it quite luxurious! The eagerly awaited bowl was served... Wait a minute! To be frank, the actual dish looks quite different from the photo. There are no tomatoes or cucumbers in the bowl, and in fact, there are no vegetables at all, which is disappointing. The shrimp is mostly covered in sauce with only about three pieces, which is quite meager. I thought maybe the tomatoes and cucumbers were in a separate container as a salad, but that's not the case either. The salad only consists of shredded cabbage and lettuce. While it's understandable that there may be differences between the photo and the actual dish, there should be a limit, and I was hoping for some fresh and juicy vegetables. The shrimp is seasoned on the sweeter side. If they wanted to add more punch, increasing the spiciness might have been a good idea, but making it easy for Japanese palates to enjoy is also fine. The shrimp is fresh and not rubbery, with a nice texture and delicious taste! The zangi has a peppery seasoning, not overly juicy, but crispy, which is good. It's a bit milder for a Chinese restaurant's zangi, but still enjoyable! The sweet and sour pork is dominated by plenty of cabbage, with tender, melt-in-your-mouth pork pieces scattered throughout. The rich flavor complements the slightly healthy side, and the rice helps it go down smoothly! The generous portion of rice is a plus, so if you're a big eater, you'll be happy! The egg soup is thick and creamy, with a balanced richness and lightness. The food is delicious, but it's a shame that there were missing ingredients like tomatoes and cucumbers. Given the reasonable price, if you're looking to have a meal other than at Ramen Hakurankai or Tully's, this place is recommended! The situation and the photos of the soup curry at S Kitchen are a bit questionable, haha. Thank you for the meal.

When I feel like eating fried rice, I come here even if it's a bit far! This restaurant in Rera offers authentic Chinese food at a reasonable price! I haven't found fried rice better than here! The photo is of the extra-large portion of char siu fried rice! I was worried if I could finish the extra-large portion, but it was so delicious that I forgot about feeling full! I was thinking of trying the ramen next, but I don't want to regret not trying it while I'm here, so I have only tried the fried rice. Next time, I will try the shrimp fried rice. I took a bite of the shrimp wonton that my wife was eating, and it had a gentle saltiness and was very satisfying.

This place is convenient, being close to the parking lot. I visited at lunchtime and there were 4 customers already there and 8 customers came after, all of them were average in number. I ordered yakisoba. Chinese can be heard from the dining area and kitchen. It feels like being away from home! (laughs) The yakisoba was hot, with thin noodles and lots of ingredients. It was delicious. It was a bit disappointing that there was no yakisoba in the noodles and no shrimp in the ingredients. The egg soup was lightly flavored, adding some black pepper was a good touch. Kimchi might not go well with the yakisoba with Chinese sauce. Chinese sauce yakisoba for 814 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

Located inside the Chitose outlet mall, this was the only ramen shop we hadn't visited yet, so two of us went for our first visit. We shared dessert together. Prices are excluding tax. - Small fried rice, small ramen + dim sum, dessert, salad: 1,030 yen - 2 peach steamed buns: 190 yen - 3 sesame balls: 335 yen - Almond jelly: 380 yen - After-meal drink (iced coffee): 120 yen They offer a variety of Chinese dishes, but we ordered a set that allowed us to try a bit of everything. The weekend buffet that used to be available for 1,250 yen is no longer offered. The fried rice and ramen, both labeled "small," were actually quite filling on their own. The fried rice was moist, and the ramen had thin noodles in a soy-based broth with a slightly thick texture. The ladies' set included kung pao chicken, shrimp chili, sweet and sour pork, vegetables, char siu fried rice, shark fin soup, and almond jelly. The shrimp chili was not too spicy and easy to eat. I thought the shark fin soup was egg drop soup at first. I made the mistake of ordering almond jelly separately, along with all three desserts, and ended up too full. The menu was a bit confusing, and since this place is tucked away in a corner of the facility, we didn't have high expectations. However, the food was affordable, quick, and delicious, and the staff was cute. The staff member apologized for being new and not very experienced, but when I complimented her Japanese skills, she shyly smiled, which was adorable. The kitchen staff mainly spoke Chinese, but they understood Japanese. The flavors were not too strong, just right. Perhaps this restaurant has been around since the opening of the mall and has gained a lot of experience, but it seems to attract Chinese customers as well, judging by the size of the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

Visited for the first time in October 2018, this Chinese restaurant called "Suihua" is located inside the outlet mall "Rera" in the outskirts of Chitose City, near JR Minami Chitose Station. The restaurant is situated on the northeast side of the mall, close to the second gate. The menu offers standard Chinese dishes, including a reasonably priced lunch menu available on weekdays. I tried the "Chinese sauce over fried noodles" with a side of spring rolls. The dish came with soup and pickles. The soup was egg drop soup, and pickles included takuan, although the menu showed what seemed to be zha cai. The combination of pickles with the fried noodles felt a bit off. The fried noodles had a decent amount of ingredients, with a good portion of wood ear mushrooms which I appreciated. However, the sauce was a bit too thick, and I felt it could be more flavorful with a smoother consistency. The noodles were typical Chinese steamed noodles, but I thought a bit more frying would enhance the dish. The spring rolls were served as two pieces on a plate, cut in half for easy eating. The prices were reasonable, and the taste was decent, making it a good option for an additional dish. While I may not actively seek to revisit, if you're looking for Chinese food other than ramen at Rera, this could be worth a try.

I went to a Chinese buffet around 1:00 pm on Sunday. The restaurant was about half full. They had dishes like sweet and sour pork, shrimp chili, Shanghai fried noodles, sweet and sour pork, dumplings, shumai, bang bang chicken, mapo tofu, spring rolls, kimchi, fried chicken, stir-fried beef, shark fin soup, almond jelly, fried rice, and white rice. The variety was decent. For drinks, they had jasmine tea, barley tea, and hot tea, which was enough. The freshly fried chicken was delicious!

Chinese restaurant in Chitose Outlet Mall. Weekend limited lunch buffet! On weekends, they offer both the regular menu and a lunch buffet. I was a bit worried because there was limited information online about whether they still offer the buffet and what it includes. But it turned out to be a great experience! The dishes were what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant - sweet and sour pork, mapo tofu, yakisoba, spring rolls, shumai, fried rice, dumplings, kung pao chicken, Chinese soup, and more. It was a parade of my favorite dishes! Eating the hot dishes as soon as they were brought out made them even more delicious. The freshly made dumplings even had eggs in them, which was a nice surprise. The Chinese soup was labeled as shark fin soup, but I couldn't find any shark fin in it. The fried rice was kept warm in a jar but still had a nice texture, although it was a bit bland. The fried chicken was also freshly fried and very satisfying. The sweet and sour pork, liver and vegetable stir-fry, and yakisoba were all freshly made and highly rated. The kung pao chicken was delicious too! Overall, the dishes were slightly underseasoned, but I'm glad I went! I enjoyed it thoroughly for 1250 yen (excluding tax).

Chitose City, the gateway to Hokkaido where New Chitose Airport is located. Inside the shopping mall Lera, which offers free shuttle buses from the airport, there is a Chinese restaurant where a Chinese chef showcases his skills. It's called "Chinese Restaurant Suika" and it is situated near the parking lot of Lera (ample parking available). The restaurant has a Chinese ambiance with rose-colored flooring, round decorative windows, Asian-style lighting, and wooden chairs with intricate carvings and gold Chinese characters. During my visit on a weekend, the restaurant was not crowded yet. Upon entering, I was asked if I wanted buffet, a la carte, or takeout. I opted for a la carte and was shown to my table. The majority of the customers were Chinese tourists, evident from their tea-making skills and conversations in Chinese. The atmosphere made me feel like I was dining at a local restaurant in China. The staff came to take my order, and there was a bit of confusion due to language barriers. Eventually, with the help of another customer, I managed to place my order for dishes to share: dan dan noodles, shrimp fried rice, mixed vegetables, mapo tofu, and young chicken tempura. I also ordered a beer and two orange juices. The dishes took some time to arrive, and there was a mix-up with one of the orders. Despite the confusion, the food was delicious. The dan dan noodles had a slightly sweet soup with a fragrant sesame aroma. The shrimp fried rice was filled with plenty of crab sticks and had a light, fluffy texture. The mixed vegetables were a flavorful mix of seafood and various vegetables. The mapo tofu was spicy with a strong kick from chili peppers and Sichuan peppercorns. The young chicken tempura was large and crispy. Overall, the experience at Chinese Restaurant Suika was enjoyable, with the lively atmosphere of Chinese tourists adding to the authenticity of the dining experience.

I went to an outlet called "Rera" near Chitose Airport to have a meal with some locals, and we decided to try Chinese cuisine. We ended up at this restaurant located at the far end of the outlet, so the place was not crowded. The spacious restaurant seemed to focus on buffet-style dining, as there were many foreign tourists. This time, we ordered the Ankake Yakisoba. - Noodles: The noodles made in-house were a bit oily. - Sauce: The sauce was richly flavored and the dish had plenty of ingredients. Since the buffet was over 1000 yen, ordering individual dishes seemed like a better deal.

I had a lunch buffet. I went at 11:45 on a weekend, but was told that the buffet would start around 12:30, so I left and came back later. When I returned, the seats were somewhat filled. After being seated, I noticed that there were regular plates for getting food, no trays. Everyone had to carry their own plate to get food. It would have been more convenient to have trays with two plates to reduce the number of trips to get food. I'm not sure if this was to prevent people from taking too much food or if they just didn't have trays. Also, I prefer not to mix flavors, so I wished there were smaller plates available. I ended up using a plate with Winnie the Pooh on it. I also couldn't find the location of the larger spoons, so I used dessert spoons, which might have made me look strange to others. The food was quite good, with some dishes being freshly made like sweet and sour pork, spring rolls, and dumplings. The dumplings were not freshly made but still tasty. The mapo tofu was a bit too spicy for me. The fried rice tasted like it had been sitting in a rice cooker for a while, typical of buffet style. The shark fin soup was surprisingly bland. The almond jelly was just okay. Overall, I think everyone would be satisfied with the variety of food offered, especially considering the buffet price is usually around 1000 yen. Buffets are fun because you can choose what you want to eat, but sometimes you end up not being able to eat as much as you thought. It's surprising to see how much some people can eat, making you feel like you didn't get your money's worth!

I used it for lunch in between shopping. Across the building is a revolving sushi restaurant. I like eating in a calm seat rather than the food court. The staff in the hall was also a Chinese lady, easy to get along with. The food was delicious, so if I go shopping at Lera, I will definitely stop by again. There are so many menu items I want to try. The baby sitting at a nearby table was eating so deliciously, it was impressive (laughs).

Authentic Chinese cuisine! Suika at Chitose Outlet Mall Rera is a Chinese restaurant with a buffet where you can enjoy dishes like shrimp chili, fried chicken, mapo tofu, pan-fried dumplings, fried rice, and sweet and sour pork for 1180 yen per person. The flavors are quite good! The buffet menu is not too spicy or heavily seasoned, so it is easy for children to enjoy. In addition to the buffet, there are also a la carte menu options. I tried the xiaolongbao, which was delicious for just 300 yen. There are many Chinese staff members, and the atmosphere inside is filled with Chinese conversations, making it feel like you are actually in China.

Today, I came to the outlet mall Lera. It's so close that I think, "I can go anytime," but somehow I can't go often. This is my third time here, and it was quiet as it's a weekday. Now... what should I have for lunch? I've been to the revolving sushi place before, so maybe Chinese food this time. When I entered the restaurant, I could hear Chinese being spoken in the kitchen. It felt like I was in China! (I've never been to China though, haha) The service staff was Japanese. The menu had lunch sets, individual dishes, noodles, fried rice, and more. My son had the kids' set with fried rice, fried chicken, a small steamer with shumai and peach bun, and a juice (¥480). I had the ladies' set with sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken, shrimp chili, BBQ pork fried rice, almond jelly, and shark fin soup (¥980). My son had the crab fried rice, which had large pieces of crab in it. The soup came with pickled mustard greens (¥780). The fried rice was fluffy, but the ones from other places like Ramen Chura or Haraheetai are better in taste. For my son, the best fried rice comes from those two places, he says (laughs). The soup dumplings were piping hot! I burned my mouth and the juices splattered everywhere, but they were delicious. The dipping sauce for the soup dumplings had shredded ginger, which made it refreshing to eat together! The taste was safe and not too strong, which was good as it didn't make me thirsty. At the register, when I said, "Thank you for the meal! Please tell the chef it was delicious," they responded, "Thank you! He will be pleased!" The service was also pleasant. I heard that the number of Asian customers in other restaurants is decreasing, and it's tough because some foreigners are leaving Japan due to the perception of danger in the country. In one country, they say, "Japan is going to sink," or something like that. In such a situation, the Chinese chefs who are cooking for us deserve our respect. Thank you for the meal!

While shopping at Rera, we decided to grab a bite to eat since it was lunchtime. We ended up at this restaurant, which I had known about but never visited before. The interior was a bit dim, and in the kitchen, I could hear what sounded like Chinese being spoken. The staff, all women, seemed a bit unfriendly. I assume they were just part-time workers, but I couldn't help but wish they were a bit more cheerful. I had the salt seafood ankake yakisoba (880 yen) and my friend had the gomoku ankake ramen (800 yen), along with sweet and sour pork (780 yen) and pan-fried dumplings (450 yen). The sweet and sour pork and dumplings were pretty average, nothing special. The ankake yakisoba, on the other hand, was just to my liking with a good balance of saltiness and plenty of shrimp and other toppings. I don't plan on actively seeking out this restaurant again, but I wouldn't mind stopping by if the opportunity arises.

This is a Chinese restaurant in the outlet mall Rera. I had lunch here, and it was quite affordable. The staff all seemed to be Chinese. I ordered the Ankake Yakisoba set for 780 yen, while my mother had the Seafood Ankake set for 880 yen. I personally preferred the salt ankake, but both dishes were tasty for the price. The set came with soup and kimchi. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, the service was a bit slow for a Chinese restaurant.

If you want to eat Chinese food to your heart's content, this is the place to go! I have been here many times. I highly recommend the lunch buffet on weekends. The price is quite affordable for a buffet. The menu doesn't change much with the seasons. Some of the dishes include shrimp chili, dumplings, shumai, sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken, sweet and sour pork, mapo tofu, fried chicken, almond jelly, shark fin soup, fried rice, steamed rice, and spring rolls. The staff seems to be from China, and some of them may not be fluent in Japanese, but it's all part of the experience. They also offer jasmine tea, which is good for digestion, relaxation, and balancing hormones. It's rare to find a Chinese buffet in Chitose, so I hope they continue to do well!

I had soy sauce flavored ankake yakisoba. The flavor of the sauce was delicious, and the noodles were cooked just right. However, the large pieces of Chinese cabbage made it difficult to eat, which was disappointing. Also, the bamboo shoots had a lingering smell that I didn't like, and the carrots were so hard that I couldn't bring myself to eat them. There weren't many customers when I went, so there should have been enough time for the cooking, but it was still disappointing. Additionally, I could hear the voices of the kitchen staff the whole time I was eating, which was distracting.
