No matter what happens, it's all good ♪ Passing through the dazzling flames ♪ I want to cross the Mise Pass with you ♪ (* ̄0 ̄)θ~♪ The Myrebi Ground Removal Team has turned into a firefighting brigade with daily charcoal grilling attacks. We rarely cross the Mise Pass, but we visited a charcoal grill restaurant in Sawara-ku, Fukuoka City, while singing acapella. We input the first target, "Jidori Shokudo Maguchibuchi Store," into the navigation system and just before reaching the destination, we spotted the sign for Takiyamaso. Plan change! We're going into Takiyamaso (;'∀'). The restaurant is a surprisingly impressive building. It is said to have been relocated from a house built about 200 years ago, but it is too large for a traditional house Σヽ(゚Д゚○)ノ. When we entered the restaurant, there were semi-private rooms with sunken kotatsu-style seating and a spacious hall with a view of a waterfall. Of course, we were guided to a seat with a view of the waterfall ♪ The menu includes "Yamame cuisine," "Wild boar hot pot," and "Charcoal-grilled dishes" unique to the mountainous region. Since you can choose individual portions for hot pot dishes, we ordered the Jidori hot pot and Jidori charcoal grill. "Satsuma-grown Jidori hot pot set" 2480 yen includes raw food (sashimi konjac), tofu dengaku, Satsuma Jidori chicken, vegetables, udon, dessert, and coffee. Since rice was not included in the Jidori hot pot, we added it. First, salad and raw food were brought to us. The raw food was sashimi konjac, but it was made with only konjac and did not contain the usual nori with green laver. It had a good texture and contained little bitterness, making it a delicious sashimi konjac ♪ The Jidori chicken is grilled on a charcoal grill. The fresh chicken has milky white fat and is clearly different from the chicken meat found in supermarkets. I get excited because I rarely grill with charcoal at home ↑↑ According to a study at a certain university, the glutamic acid content, an umami element, is "1" for raw meat, "1.8 times" when cooked with gas, and "2.2 times" when grilled with charcoal ♪ The meat juices that flow from the meat drip onto the charcoal and are smoked, enhancing the flavor. Chicken grilled over charcoal has a firm texture and a satisfying chew compared to young chicken. Once you know this taste, you can't eat meat cooked in a Teflon pan anymore. The Jidori hot pot was pre-cooked. The chicken and vegetables are simmered in a soy sauce-based broth, infusing the soup with the umami of the chicken and vegetables. Warm hot pot dishes are a delight in the upcoming season. On this day, the udon was out of stock, so we had mochi instead. The dessert was cake, apple, and candied chestnuts. I will enjoy the candied chestnuts after removing the astringent skin. The cake here had herbs in it, and it smelled wonderful (*^▽^*), probably thyme? I would love to come here just for the cake ♪ The atmosphere and service at the restaurant were excellent, and we had a relaxing lunch with a great view! Thank you for the meal (*^。^*)
