Even if you drink it black, it goes down smoothly. It's been a while since I had such delicious cold brew coffee. I would love to visit this place again if I'm nearby.

The Ferris wheel at Kashii Hanazono has also disappeared. It feels a bit lonely, but there is a shop nearby. The main attraction is of course the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) France bread. This time, instead of takeout, we decided to enjoy the cafe experience inside the shop with a cup of coffee. In addition to purchasing a mentaiko France for breakfast the next morning at 430 yen, we also bought the third most popular pastry, "Black Tea and Orange Bread," for 260 yen. My wife also impulsively bought freshly baked scones at the register. The coffee took a bit of time, but the fact that they brew it one drip at a time was quite appealing. To satisfy our hunger, we decided to start with the "Black Tea and Orange Bread." It was a pastry bread with a strong Earl Grey tea flavor base, mixed with orange (more intense than orange peel) and white chocolate. The sign at the shop mentioned that they had increased the amount of orange, and it was indeed packed with it. It paired perfectly with the richly brewed coffee. The scones my wife bought were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and delicious because they were warm. It was our first time entering the cafe space inside the shop, and we were surprised to find out that there were second-floor seats and a terrace. The second-floor seating area had a cool atmosphere surrounded by audio equipment and records, but the terrace outside on the second floor offered a great view of the high-rise apartment buildings and the sea during dusk. Now, about Furufuru Fushinomori. I parked my car in the spacious parking lot and entered the shop. On this day, I bought, of course, Mentaiko France (430 yen excluding tax). I visited the restaurant for a late lunch after playing with my dog at the campsite and dog run that was temporarily set up on the former site of "Kashii Kaen". I had first noticed the restaurant when passing by on my bike, but the long line had deterred me from visiting. This time, I decided to give it another try. I asked if I could bring my dog with me, and was told there were outdoor terrace seats available. I bought some bread and drinks while my wife and dog waited. I purchased a fish sandwich, yuzu pepper bread, cream bread, and burdock salad bread, along with an iced coffee for a total of 2100 yen, which felt a bit pricey compared to my previous impression of the shop as being affordable. When I returned to my seat with the food and drinks, we found that there were a lot of mosquitoes due to the season. The pet-friendly terrace seats were oddly placed far away from other customers, near the plants, resulting in a lot of bugs which was not ideal. We ended up moving to a table near the bicycle parking area on the opposite side to avoid the bugs. Despite the nice atmosphere inside the restaurant, this was a bit disappointing. The burdock salad bread was crispy and well-seasoned, and the yuzu pepper bread was surprisingly good. The bread itself was delicious, but overall, it felt a bit overpriced.

The freshly baked mentaiko French bread was amazing. It had a crispy outer layer and a soft and moist mentaiko butter inside. It's a bit much for one person to finish a whole piece, but you can easily eat about half of it. I was too eager to eat the freshly baked bread in my car that I forgot to take a picture, so all I have left is the remnants of the bag. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is a branch of Furu Furu located on Myojima Island! I was so impressed when I tried the mentaiko croissant at the main store. So I came here to get some bread for breakfast. The freshly baked walnut bread was delicious! I was also impressed by the freshly baked garlic croissant, which had a great flavor. And the highlight, the mentaiko croissant, was just as delicious as the one at the main store. My mother moved to Chohyo, so this place is convenient for me. Before going to Kashii Park, I had an early lunch at Kazenomori Burger Set for 1300 yen. I chose the homemade grapefruit juice as my drink. The burger had juicy meat, plenty of sauce, and melted cheese, making it delicious. The paper wrapping around the burger made it easy to eat despite its height. The homemade grapefruit juice had pulp in it, giving it a taste just like fresh grapefruit.

While my friend Rino-chan, who loves FruFru, usually orders the Croque Madame set with her mom, I was intrigued by the presentation of the Fuyu no Mori Classic Burger, so I apologized to Rino-chan in my heart and ordered it. It costs 1,300 yen. The café space is quite spacious, and I decided to check out the second floor that I was curious about. There, they had a record player and a collection of records, which seemed more like a space for listening to music rather than for dining. After waiting for about ten minutes, I was called from downstairs. The towering burger looked impressive. The thick patty had a great meaty texture but was surprisingly light and not too heavy. The sauce was a bit sweet, and the onions added a nice kick. The portion of fries was generous and satisfying. I had coffee as well, which I had tried before and enjoyed its refreshing taste with a hint of acidity. On my way back, I couldn't resist buying some Mentaiko French bread. The FruFru in Tenjin has closed due to redevelopment, but I heard that a new store with a café area is planned to open in Hakata. I'm looking forward to that!

I rode my bike from Fukuoka City while looking at Google Maps. It was sunny, so the weather was nice, and the sea looked very beautiful. It was a bit chilly but felt good! The parking lot was very spacious, and even as a novice driver, I felt like I could park easily as I headed to the bike parking area. Kaizuka Hanazono was right in front of me. I shouldn't have any memories of it, but I felt somehow happy. The interior was divided into a cafe space and a bread corner, and I received my Mentaiko France at the register. It seemed to have just finished baking, so I was able to receive it without waiting. There were many families there, so I'm sure the interior is a comfortable environment. From left to right, we have the "Family's Main Support" for 365 yen (excluding tax), Genovese & Potato for 265 yen (excluding tax), Curry Bread for 184 yen (excluding tax), and Fluffy Salted Butter Roll for 132 yen (excluding tax). The Genovese & Potato felt a bit too firm for my liking, with a crunchy texture that some may enjoy. The Curry Bread was similar to what you find in other bakeries. The Salted Butter Roll initially looked like a regular bread roll, but biting into it revealed a juicy and fragrant bottom layer of butter, which was quite delicious. My favorite among these was probably the "Family's Main Support," with thick slices of bacon and cheese that tasted great. On the left, we have the "Melting Cream" for 184 yen (excluding tax), and on the right, the "Rich Milk Stick Cream Bread." The Melting Cream was more gooey and sticky than melting, with a high egg yolk content. The Rich Milk Stick had a solid cream filling and didn't feel like the cheap whipped cream-filled pastries you often find. Overall, this bakery is located right behind Kashii Hanazono. It seems to have been open for over a year, but I never noticed it as I rarely pass by this area. The parking lot is quite spacious, and the atmosphere inside is calm. While the bread was delicious, I found the prices to be slightly higher compared to other bakeries. They also offer lunch in their eat-in space, but all the menu items are priced over 1200 yen. If you prioritize taste over price, this bakery might be suitable for you.

On this day, before heading to the checkpoint at Kaigan-Nakahodo, we had breakfast. 5th generation member Rino Sakamoto went to the Full Full-style Mori store that she posted on Instagram. The popular Full Full-san with its mentaiko (spicy cod roe) France. Although the Tenjin store was unfortunately closed, I didn't know there was such a store behind Kasuya Hanazono! Now, Rino-chan had the Croque-monsieur set, but of course, I had the toast set for 600 yen. The drink was separate, so I got the Wind Forest blend for 300 yen. Also, a cute bear-shaped bread from Wind Forest. Of course, I had the mentaiko France. The coffee space is also beautiful. There seems to be a second floor as well.
