I visited around 6:00 pm on a Saturday night in October, alone. Since the weather was getting cooler, I hoped there wouldn't be a long wait. There was no wait, and I was seated right away. There was only one other customer when I arrived. The seating options were two tables for two, one table for four, and a counter. I chose a table for two. It felt a bit cramped for two people. The interior was quite warm from the moment I entered. Probably because they specialize in shaved ice. By the time I left, the temperature was just right. Even while eating, customers were coming in, but since there was only one staff member, they sometimes didn't notice right away. The staff member was also busy making shaved ice and leaving for a few minutes, so timing was important when leaving. Shaved Ice: Cocoa + Chocolate Mini ¥580. It arrived in less than 5 minutes after ordering. The mini size didn't have the fancy toppings shown in the pictures. The chocolate flavor was intense, and the shaved ice was fluffy, melting in the mouth quickly. It felt more like eating ice cream or cake than shaved ice. The cocoa was generously drizzled and delicious. It didn't give me a brain freeze and I felt like I could eat more. The customers were mostly women, and many were dining alone. I ordered the Raspberry Milk flavor since they were out of Coconut. They had a large and small size, so I went for the large one. When it arrived, it was huge! It took a while to eat because of its size, but it didn't melt easily, so I was able to enjoy it without it losing its shape. The outside was a bit hard with the sauce and condensed milk, but the inside was fluffy with different flavors like the tartness of raspberry and the sweetness of milk, which kept it interesting. My mouth started to feel numb halfway through, so I took a few breaks, but it didn't melt into water as much as I expected given its size. Being able to eat shaved ice slowly like that was great. It truly lived up to its reputation as a top shop.

The staff came out and called out names in order, but since we were not near the shop, we ended up skipping ahead 2 groups and were able to enter at 16:00, earlier than expected. It was my first visit, so I asked the staff for the most popular item, which was the Cocoa Milk, so I ordered it without hesitation. It was served in about 10 minutes. It was a huge portion, and I made sure not to let it collapse as I ate. The ice was fluffy and very delicious, and the inside of the shop was cool with the air conditioning, which quickly cooled my overheated body. During that time, I purchased a Russian cake, a Western confectionery sold in the store. The Russian cake is a moist cookie with a mild sweetness and delicious taste. My friend with a sweet tooth bought a second one. When asked if I wanted to eat it in the store, I said yes and they served it on a plate. While I was enjoying the cake, the shaved ice arrived. It was a large square shaved ice. When I saw it, I was worried if I could finish it because it was so big. The matcha flavor was authentic with a mild taste due to the condensed milk on top. It has a gentle taste that even children would enjoy. The cocoa milk had a chocolate flavor that would appeal to everyone. It tasted just like the Black flavor of Seki condensed milk. Chopped chocolate was sprinkled on top. Because it was so big, I wondered if the flavor reached the inside, but when I dug in, it was evenly distributed throughout!! I was able to finish it all! This place is top-notch. If you come to Tamatsukuri, I recommend everyone to visit this place.

I wanted to order the cocoa flavor too, but I thought it might not go well with the others so I decided against it. The combination of milk and fruit syrup is great, and eating this in the summer makes me feel really happy.

After several years, I visited this restaurant again. I went on a weekday and managed to enter the shop at the perfect timing without having to wait. Despite the time that has passed, the portion size and beautiful presentation remain unchanged. Of course, the taste is consistently delicious! The crunchy texture of the ice and its softness tell the story of its excellence. Be prepared to wait in line, but definitely worth a visit!

Long time no see! It's the first time this year!! I've been waiting for this - a seasonal tradition! I only eat shaved ice here. It's been a while, so today I got the matcha milk flavor!! Of course, the regular size! It's so delicious! The matcha flavor is rich and the sweetness of the milk is perfect! One of the good things about this place, as I always say, is that the flavor doesn't get diluted! I can't recommend this enough. I wonder if there are still people who haven't tried it yet? I wanted to order a mini size, but it was mentioned that getting a half portion of the regular size for ¥600 would be more cost-effective and Instagrammable, so I went with the regular size. It was indeed delicious! If you love chocolate, you will definitely enjoy this. The ice was tasty and the flavor balance was just right. Once you try this kakigori, you won't be able to go back to the usual festival stalls for shaved ice. Just make sure to eat it quickly as it melts fast, and drinking the melted Kakao Milk can make you feel heavy. I wish they offered a 3/4 size!

After eating udon nearby, I felt like having dessert and dragged my friend to this place. When we arrived, it was full inside, with one group waiting outside. We waited for about 15 minutes before getting seated. I ordered the "Cacao Milk" in mini size for ¥600 plus a coffee for ¥380, while my friend got the "Matcha Milk with Red Bean (smooth red bean)" in mini size for ¥710 and a cafe au lait for ¥380. It felt like eating tiramisu on shaved ice, and the taste surpassed regular shaved ice! I saw people around us eating the regular size, but I was satisfied with the mini size.

I always order the Caramel Milk that I must have and the Coconut Milk that I couldn't try last year due to the timing!
