I visited the restaurant for lunch on a weekday with my elementary school daughter and a baby before starting solid food. When I visited on a holiday before, there were a few groups waiting, so I thought we might have to wait a bit after 12 o'clock, but we were seated right away. There was no wait afterwards, and the turnover was good. They didn't ask for seating preferences, but since I was carrying the baby in a baby carrier, we were seated at a tatami mat table. Luckily, the baby was sleeping, so I laid him down on the cushion and started lunch slowly. My daughter ordered the children's pasta (bacon carbonara with all-you-can-eat bread for children + children's juice) because the children's plate didn't come with all-you-can-eat bread (you could add it, but it would cost over 1000 yen). I ordered the C lunch with Pecorino cheese and black pepper pasta (salad + all-you-can-eat bread). Previously, there was a system where you would go to the buffet table to get bread, but due to the coronavirus, the staff were walking around with baskets of bread. After ordering, they brought the bread right away, so we each had one (mentaiko bread, melon bread, and a long and chewy one). Next, we had salad and children's juice (only orange available). The salad was smaller than expected and a bit disappointing. It was a leafy salad with small pieces of chicken ham on top, and we shared it with my daughter. The chicken ham was a little salty. After finishing the bread, since the staff didn't come, I went to the buffet table. I got one melon bread, mugwort bread, and croissant each. My daughter's pasta arrived first. It was a hot carbonara with thick and small pieces of bacon. It was rich and a classic carbonara. A little later, my pasta was served. It had plenty of Pecorino cheese and was delicious! The cheese was freshly shaved when served, but it melted and blended well with the pasta. It had black pepper, but it wasn't too spicy, and the large grains made it easy to avoid, so it was easy to share with my child. The staff kept coming around with bread at a good pace, so we could enjoy various types of freshly baked bread without getting bored. In addition to the ones mentioned above, there were milk rolls, corn focaccia, garlic focaccia, basil rolls, pizza toast, French toast, mugwort French toast, sugar buns, and lemon cream buns. By the way, there were plain French toasts in roll and croissant forms, so we could enjoy the different textures. My favorite was the freshly baked melon bread. It was crispy, fluffy, slightly sweet, and I ended up eating four of them. It seems like it would be too crowded to relax on holidays, so I would like to visit again for lunch on a weekday.
