A friend recommended the restaurant "Asukaza" to me, saying it was delicious. They use only A5-ranked Japanese black wagyu beef, specifically Asukaza beef with a BMS rating of 10 or higher. The eggs are from premium breed chickens, the green onions are from Kyoto, and all the vegetables are branded. The restaurant not only serves customers but also supplies meat to barbecue restaurants and meat shops. It stands out from other barbecue restaurants I have visited. Located in a narrow alley in the Ohatsu Tenjin shopping street where many eateries are lined up, it is easy to find. I was seated at the counter on the first floor. I started with a Hügården White Belgian beer, which is a spicy and refreshing white beer originating from the village of Hoegaarden in Belgium. The appetizer of beef tendon, burdock, and konjac was delicious. The beef tendon was very tender and must have taken a lot of time and effort to prepare. It was so good that I wished they sold it separately. They also served three types of salt and three types of condiments. The main meat dishes were seasoned with these salts and condiments. The cold tofu with kimchi and six other toppings was a delightful appetizer. The beef yukke with chicken egg yolk and Kyoto green onions was rich in flavor. For the main meat dishes, I ordered the following: premium black tongue roll, specialty top round, specialty skirt steak, and sirloin garlic chip. The owner recommended a rare cut called lamb loin, which I gladly accepted. Each meat dish was beautifully presented and cooked by the chef on the previous shichirin grill. The top round roll with green onion was sweet and had a pleasant texture. The specialty skirt steak was not too fatty and had a nice balance of sweetness. The sirloin garlic chip was topped with garlic and used the highest quality female beef from Omi beef. It was incredibly tender, juicy, and had an elegant umami flavor. The lamb loin from the secret menu was also tender and juicy. It was a truly unforgettable taste experience. The server guided us on how to enjoy each meat dish with different salts and condiments. The lamb loin was particularly enhanced by the salted kelp garnish. We ended the meal with the top round roll, which had a moderate amount of fat and was satisfying. Lastly, we had the Morioka sudachi cold noodles, which had chewy noodles that paired well with the delicious soup. It was a blissful dining experience.

I made a reservation for the all-you-can-drink course. There were only us and the customers next to us at the early hour, so I wish they had seated us a little further apart. The all-you-can-drink included Asahi bottled beer and Harper whiskey, which was a bit higher quality. The meat was delicious and the staff cooked it for us, making it suitable for business meetings or dates. I would like to go again! Thank you for the meal.

When you enter the alley of Ota Tenjin that is open until morning, you will see the aura of a high-class yakiniku restaurant called "Asukaza." I was a bit hesitant at first because of the entrance, but once inside, I was surprised to find a place with karaoke and the potential for a second party after the first one. The roast beef in the photos was amazingly delicious, and you can eat up to 10 plates of it. The meat is cooked by a cute waitress, and sometimes even by the waiter. It seems like the owner carefully selects the meat served, and it was incredibly tasty. I would definitely come back.

Grill it and leave the condiments to the chef. A convenient and delicious yakiniku restaurant! I often find myself wanting to eat around the area of East Umeda, especially near the Tenjin-dori street. So, I decided to visit Asukaza Honke Honten, a yakiniku restaurant located in a back alley near the East Umeda area. They only use domestically sourced A5 rank black wagyu beef from female cows, and they also pay attention to details such as rice and water used for cooking rice. The wooden sign gives the exterior a charming atmosphere. The first floor has counter seats, while the second floor has table seats, but on this day, it seemed like the counter seats were not being used. We went upstairs and sat at a table for two. It was a cozy and snug seat, but I personally found it comfortable and enjoyed my meal. Now, let's eat. The appetizers were beef and burdock root in a sweet and savory sauce, which was delicious. It makes you crave rice, but I resisted (I wanted to eat it with the yakiniku). We slowly enjoyed the dishes! Kakuteki - 480 yen, Bean sprout namul - 380 yen, and for some reason, bean sprout soup - 380 yen. Okay, let's get our stomachs ready for the meat! The meat arrived about 30 minutes later, not served individually but beautifully arranged on one plate. It was luxurious. Premium black tongue with green onions - 2,480 yen, Premium lean thinly sliced with ginger - 1,980 yen, Premium harami - 990 yen, Special loin - 840 yen, Top sirloin - 1,280 yen. All of them had good marbling and color. At this restaurant, the staff cooks the meat for you. They will cook it perfectly while you are engrossed in conversation. The premium black tongue was cooked rare with a tangy green onion wrap around it - delicious! The premium lean thinly sliced with ginger was cooked to perfection on both sides, with ginger in between. I was curious about having ginger with yakiniku, but it was surprisingly good. The premium harami had a juicy and flavorful texture that melted in your mouth. For this meat, the staff recommended using one of the three types of natural salt available. The loin was a thick steak type! Cooked to a nice crispy exterior. The highlight of the day was the Chateaubriand - 7,980 yen. I splurged a bit on this one! The presentation was stunning! It was a thick cut of meat, so I decided to cook it myself. I cooked it slowly and enjoyed every bite. The Chateaubriand was absolutely amazing. It was even more delicious because it was from a female cow. Lastly, I ended up taking the tongs from the staff (laughs). A5 rank black wagyu beef from female cows only! Using three types of natural salt! The staff cooks the meat for you! Good meat tastes amazing even with just salt. In fact, salt enhances the flavor. It was delicious.

I went to a yakiniku restaurant in Higashi Umeda. The complimentary beef and burdock flavor was strong but had a rich broth and was delicious. I wanted rice from the first bite. The raw black tongue sashimi had a good amount of fat and melted in the mouth. The tsurami sashimi had a nice thickness and the flavor came out more as you chewed. The Izumi water eggplant namul had an irresistible texture and the seasoning was quite to my liking. The lotus root kimchi was delicious. The cucumber salad with pickled vegetables inside was also enjoyable. The premium black tongue with leek roll was wrapped in the middle of the tongue, not tightly cooked, and the combination with leeks was good. The chumaki leek roll is not often seen in yakiniku restaurants, it has a unique taste but the meat flavor is strong. I felt the restaurant's dedication to serving unique cuts. The tender sirloin with garlic chips was delicious. The premium harami was tender and tasty, with enough fat to feel like a sirloin. The special rib meat had a good amount of fat and a nice texture, a favorite cut of mine. I wanted to eat more but I started a diet so I had to adjust. The fatty offal butter chicken mini curry was small and acceptable, creamy and tasty. Not spicy so easy to eat. The royal bourbon vanilla and homemade hojicha tea gelato were delicious. I want to try other flavors too. On the way out, I was given a pouch with salted kelp, which was a nice touch. It was a delicious yakiniku restaurant experience.

I made a reservation here for a reunion with friends, and I was excited because my gourmet friends had praised this place. We started with Asahi Super Dry beer, and the appetizer was beef tendon and burdock. The sweetness and spiciness were just right, setting high expectations. The table was set with three types of natural salt and three types of condiments. The grilled meat here is enjoyed with just salt, no sauce. The meat used here is a selection of A5 rank BMS 10-12 female cows that have not given birth, so you can imagine how amazing the meat is. We then enjoyed a variety of dishes including chilled tofu kimchi assortment, premium black tongue with scallion wrap, garlic steak, signature premium harami, and signature premium sagari. The staff grilled the meat on a shichirin charcoal grill, providing detailed explanations and serving the meat perfectly. The staff, a cute and beautiful lady, served the beautifully arranged meat dishes. We indulged in the juicy and delicious meat, enjoying each bite. When you start feeling tired, you need to eat some meat to regain your energy! I was looking for a good yakiniku restaurant in the Umeda area, and I found a promising one! As a meat lover, my meat-sensing radar was activated. The restaurant is called Tennen Shio Yakiniku Asuka-za Honke Honten. It's located in a narrow alley opposite Akichi in the Sonezaki Shotengai shopping street. The entrance was a bit tricky to find, but I've been there a few times before, so I knew the way. The restaurant has a counter on the first floor and a sunken kotatsu on the second floor. We chose the second floor. We started with a toast! I had a Chuhai with peach flavor, while my friend had Umeshu soda. There was also wine available, but we didn't want to risk opening a bottle for just the two of us. The appetizer was beef tendon kinpira, which was very tender and flavorful. The combination of beef tendon and burdock was delicious. The menu offers courses and a la carte options, and this time we chose a la carte. We tried various dishes like scallop intestine chanja, beef yukke with black-bone chicken egg yolk and Kujo green onion, momo tataki with ponzu sauce, incredibly delicious mino with salted kelp, Chateaubriand, the famous top-grade sagari, top-grade black tongue wrapped in green onions, and more. The meat was beautifully presented and looked very enticing. The staff cooked the meat for us, so all we had to do was enjoy it. The concept of the restaurant is to eat meat with natural salt. They offer three types of salt: Mongolian rock salt, Flower salt from Yagishima, Okinawa, and salt from Shibata, Miyagi. They also provide condiments like negi salt, salted kelp, and grated wasabi. The meat was so good that we didn't even miss having sauce. The restaurant also serves a rich mini butter chicken curry with plenty of fat scraps, which was perfect for finishing the meal. I ended up wandering around by mistake. To get to the restaurant, it's recommended to use the underground passage from Hankyu Department Store because there is no nearby crosswalk from the direction of the store. It's a few minutes' walk from Exit 2 of the Tanimachi Line Higashi-Umeda Station. It might be a good idea to check the directions on the restaurant's Instagram before visiting. The restaurant has both a first floor and a second floor. We were seated on the second floor. The second floor has a nice raised tatami table seating area with a relaxing atmosphere. You also have to take off your shoes, so you can relax even more! The menu had courses, but we decided to go a la carte to choose our favorite dishes. The drink menu was also extensive. The taste and service were fantastic and well worth the price. The meat, such as the Chateaubriand, was easy to eat and had a refreshing taste because it came from female cows. I remember receiving a similar explanation when I went to eat meat in Omi previously. Having everything cooked for us was better than cooking it ourselves, and we were able to enjoy our meal slowly. I will definitely visit again.

Recently, the quality of yakiniku restaurants has been very high, and everyone knows some good places, right? On this day, a friend recommended a yakiniku restaurant to me, so I went with my drinking buddies from work! It's located in a small trendy area just outside of Higashi-Umeda subway station. The restaurant is called Hikasaka-za Honke Honten. When you enter the restaurant, the first floor has counter seats. Surprisingly, the staff and customers were singing karaoke together! We were led to the second floor. The second floor has a capacity of about 20 people with several sunken kotatsu seats. Since we had made a reservation, there was a card with "Welcome, [Name]" written on it! The hospitality was overflowing. We started with a toast with beer! The complimentary simmered beef tendon had a sweet flavor, which went well with the beer. Now, let's order some meat: - Grade 3 Wagyu lean beef fillet 100g for 1800 yen - Special harami (skirt steak) for 1980 yen - Premium black tongue with green onion roll for 2480 yen - Premium lean beef thinly sliced with ginger and garlic roll for 1980 yen - Chinese cabbage kimchi for 480 yen The prices seemed a bit high, but the portions were quite generous! The staff actually cooks the meat for you. They know exactly how to cook each type of meat to perfection and serve it to you at the best timing. It tastes even better when you listen to the meat explanations while eating! They also have three types of salt for the meat: for fatty meat, lean meat, and chicken or other meats. Additionally, they have wasabi and chopped green onions seasoned for flavor variation, which adds to the fun! It's the first time I've been to a yakiniku restaurant without sauce! You can truly taste the original flavor and sweetness of the meat, and you can eat a lot. For the finale, we shared a mini butter chicken curry for 780 yen with egg over rice. The curry is on the sweeter side, so anyone can enjoy it. The egg over rice with bonito flakes, green onion sauce, and salted kelp was delicious. We enjoyed every bite until the end! Oh, and this restaurant is open until 5 a.m. for those late-night cravings. They even have karaoke for those occasions! At the counter, the handsome manager cuts the meat right in front of you. Additionally, the staff cooks the meat to the perfect doneness. The prices may be a bit high for Ohori Tenjin-dori, but I believe it is well worth it.

I went to this restaurant as my second stop. It was not crowded as many places were still busy after the lifting of restrictions. Although it was my second stop and I couldn't eat much, the food was delicious. I enjoyed having the stingray fin seared on charcoal. Thank you for the meal.

I went with a junior colleague and we both enjoyed the food. Everything was delicious and looked great, we were very satisfied. The mini butter chicken curry at the end was amazing! The atmosphere is a bit more suited for couples maybe? The desserts were cute and visually appealing, even though we were two men, I thought about bringing my wife next time.
