My husband bought me a dorayaki from Itoking at Hakata Ichibangai Street in Hakata Station. The dorayaki is called Doraking and it contains a whole amaou strawberry, but it is only produced during the amaou season. This Doraking Ace can be purchased even when it's not amaou strawberry season. The strawberry is processed into mousse and sandwiched with amaou strawberry jam. The combination of the chewy thin skin and the filling is excellent and delicious.

My wife came back via Fukuoka and brought back a souvenir from Itoking Hakata Ippin-dori store - Dorakingu Nama. It seems to be a request from our daughter. I also tried one. It's a fresh dorayaki with whole Amaou strawberries inside, and the mousse has a rich strawberry flavor. It's definitely a must-try for strawberry lovers. Thank you for the meal!

I became a fan of Itoking's "Dorakingu Nama" since I bought it at Fukuoka Airport three years ago. It contains fresh strawberries (Amaou) and is only available for a limited time until the end of May. I bought it as a souvenir for my parents. At the time, it was already around 500 yen per piece, which I thought was quite expensive, but now it's over 600 yen per piece. It's small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. My family had never tried it before, so they were happy to receive it. It's delicious but expensive, right? You can buy it a bit cheaper at the main store or factory store in Itoshima, so I'll probably buy it there next time.

The cross-section is very clean. It is a dorayaki with Amaou strawberry called "Dorakingu Nama." The skin is thinner and more elegant than regular dorayaki. It has large Amaou strawberries inside, giving it a sweet and juicy new texture. The cream comes in three colors: pink (Amaou cream), white (salted vanilla), and green (matcha). The price is 604 yen each. It was very delicious.

The dorayaki had thin skin and was smaller than expected, but it was perfect for snacking! The strawberry tasted sweeter than the red bean paste and cream! I couldn't help but exclaim "Wow!" when I bit into the strawberry. It's a bit pricey at over 500 yen each, so we cut them in half and shared with family. A luxurious treat and a reward for myself!

I bought a "Dorakingu Nama" in Hakata. There are various flavors, but I chose hojicha. It's a dorayaki, but it's a raw dorayaki so it needs to be refrigerated. The dough is thin and moist like a crepe. Inside, there are sweet Amao strawberries. Combined with red bean paste and hojicha cream, it has a refined sweetness and is delicious. The price for one is just under 600 yen. It's quite pricey. Thank you for the meal.

"Dorakingu Nama 604 yen at Hakata Station, directly connected to Chikushi Exit DEITOS 1F. 'Ippin Street' where specialty products are lined up. Obsessed with Ichigo sweets from Itoshima. Happened to pass by just as they had arrived, no line. I don't know what it is, but I was drawn in by the customers following along like a trend-chaser (*≧∀≦). Seasonal limited edition with Fukuoka-grown Amaou strawberries. Superbly sweet and refreshing! The chewy skin is incredibly addicting. The balance of sweetness with a small amount of cream and anko is perfect. 'Dorakingu' lives up to its name as the king of strawberries. Definitely want to eat it again! Thank you for the meal (^ω^)"

There is a shop near the Shinkansen ticket gates at Hakata Station that is popular among visitors. I purchased their specialty, the "Amaou strawberry-filled dorayaki" for 604 yen including tax. The outer layer is chewy, and inside the cream and sweet red bean paste, there is a whole Amaou strawberry. The strawberry is juicy and delicious, not overshadowed by the red bean paste. It is really tasty. If you bring it as a souvenir, it will surely be well-received. Cakes are good, but dorayaki is also great.

"Located on the 1st floor of Hakata Deitos at JR Hakata Station, is the famous 'Itoking Hakata Ichibin Street Store' known for their sweets made with the 'Amaou' strawberries. They have their own 'Itoking Farm' where they grow Amaou strawberries to create amazing Amaou sweets. Today, I purchased the limited edition 'Hakata Amabi' (Amaou strawberry mochi - 1500 yen) which competes with the popular 'Doraking'. The 'Hakata Amabi' was created to capture the 'heartfelt sweetness and taste' of Amaou strawberries. There are three ways to enjoy it - first, plain. The harmony of the strawberry and mochi made me smile with its deliciousness. The slight acidity of the Amaou strawberry inside the mochi created a bittersweet taste. Next, I tried it with condensed milk sauce. The combination of strawberry and condensed milk was perfect, enhancing the acidity of the strawberry. Lastly, I dipped the mochi with condensed milk sauce into kinako powder. While kinako goes well with mochi, I was unsure about its compatibility with the strawberry. Overall, it was a delicious dish that strongly conveyed Itoking's love for Amaou strawberries."

I bought a frozen smoothie made with amaou strawberries from a sweets shop. It was recommended to wait about an hour for it to be ready to drink. I thought it was about time, so I tried it. The smoothie was full of strawberries and delicious. It seems like you can order it online. I might just do that. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the "Itoking Hakata Ippin Street Store" inside JR Hakata Station. I bought the seasonal "Dorakingu Nama" for 562 yen and "Dorakingu Nama Shio Vanilla" for 594 yen, available from November to May. They need to be kept cold and must be consumed on the same day. The Dorayaki is filled with a whole Amaou strawberry, and the texture is moist and chewy, unlike the typical fluffy Dorayaki. The acidity of the strawberry wrapped in cream and sweet bean paste is gentle and blends well with the Dorayaki flavor. The "Shio Vanilla" version has a subtle hint of salt if you pay attention, but it's not overpowering. Visually, it looks the same, so you might not realize it's different until you taste it. It was a delicious meal!

Hello, it's me, the food fighter Kyantama. Today, I felt like trying the delicious strawberry at this shop, so I impulsively bought it. The sweet and sour strawberry goes well with the fluffy dough. It may be a bit pricey for my salary as an office lady, but I think it would make a great gift that people would enjoy. The staff was friendly, and I couldn't help but wonder what their strawberry tastes like.

After finishing a week of traveling and before heading back home, I wandered around Hakata Station looking for something to buy and came across a delicious-looking sign, so I decided to stop by. The store matched my wish for something not available outside of Fukuoka, and I purchased the top two popular items. The first item was the "Dora King Ace" which is a strawberry dorayaki with amaou strawberries. The decision to use strawberry mousse instead of whole strawberries was a good one, and the mochi-like skin was to my personal liking. However, the overall taste lacked impact and the price seemed a bit high. The second item was the "Hakata Amabi Mini" which is a strawberry mochi with amaou strawberries. Despite initially being confused by the presence of horse sashimi in a strawberry shop, the visually appealing mochi was my top choice. The process of cutting it was a bit troublesome, but the taste was as expected - a strawberry-flavored mochi. It was recommended to eat it as is, then with condensed milk, and finally with condensed milk and kinako powder. The concept was good and well-executed, but the taste was within expectations. I personally prefer eating delicious strawberries as they are.

It was quite good, not dorayaki but it went well with coffee. The taste was good, but the dough wasn't very tasty. It may not have a local feel for souvenirs, but it has a unique and interesting aspect that could be appealing.

This is a sweets shop located on Ippin Street at Hakata Station that uses strawberries from Fukuoka Prefecture. Here, you can buy various sweets made with Fukuoka Prefecture's brand strawberry "Amaou". On this day, I brought home Amaou strawberry dorayaki and warabi mochi. The dorayaki with Amaou strawberries costs 443 yen. It is a dorayaki with a moose made from Amaou strawberries wrapped in a chewy dough. The Hakata Ama Bi costs 1620 yen. It is warabi mochi made with Amaou strawberries. The shop is located on Ippin Street at Hakata Station. It is called Itokingu Hakata Ippin Street Store. I would like to introduce a delicious and unique dorayaki with a soft and chewy texture, a specialty of Fukuoka. Hello everyone! For those who are new, nice to meet you! I am World Wide Schwarz Nessie XVI. The restaurant I want to review is "Itokingu Hakata Ippin Street Store". The nearest station is Hakata Station. It is located inside Hakata Station, so it is convenient to stop by before catching the bullet train back. When I bought it during my previous trip to Fukuoka, it was so delicious that I asked my friends going to Fukuoka to bring it back as a souvenir. You will be surprised by the soft and chewy texture of the dorayaki as soon as you touch the bag. It seems that this is not a regular dorayaki, but a raw dorayaki. When you take a bite, you will experience the same soft and chewy texture as when you touched it. It contains whipped cream and strawberry cream, giving more of a crepe-like feel than a dorayaki. However, the skin tastes like dorayaki and there is some red bean paste inside, so there are elements of dorayaki as well. In simple terms, it feels like a mix of dorayaki and crepe, with the crepe element being more prominent. I personally enjoyed the creamy taste. Although the price is on the higher side, I am satisfied to have tried Itokingu's raw dorayaki after a long time. The taste may be divisive, but if you are tired of regular dorayaki, it is worth trying. That's all from World Wide Schwarz Nessie XVI! Thank you for reading until the end. Let's meet again somewhere! I'll be back!

Fukuoka is known for its strawberry production, particularly the "Amaou" brand. There is a specialty shop that uses these Amaou strawberries to make delicious sweets, with their recommended item being the dorayaki. During the strawberry season in winter and spring, fresh strawberries are used, while during other times, Amaou jam is used instead. The company is called "Ito King," named after the ancient Ito country that existed in this area during the time of Queen Himiko. Their signature products are the "Doraking Ace" and "Doraking Cream" dorayaki, both containing strawberries. The dorayaki have a soft outer layer and a fluffy cream filling, with a sweet strawberry aroma that makes them incredibly delicious. They are priced at 378 yen and 421 yen respectively. The dorayaki should be consumed on the same day as they have a short shelf life. I bought them on the day I arrived in Fukuoka and also on the day I returned to Yokohama because I love them so much. Thank you for the delicious treat!

Salted vanilla and sweet potato flavors. After arriving at a certain hotel in Kurume, the expiration date was today, so I decided to try the "dorakingu" which is a copycat of dorayaki. It was delicious! It's conveniently located near the Shinkansen ticket gate, making it easy to purchase as a souvenir or snack. I don't really understand why the average rating on Tabelog is low, but it's a great place to try out!笑

I bought a Doraking salted vanilla snack to eat on the Shinkansen. The appearance of the snack is well-sealed, and although you can't see the red bean paste inside, I assumed there was Amaou strawberry in the center. The dough is chewy with a thin skin, and the salted vanilla cream and red bean paste inside are just the right amount. The sweetness of the Amaou strawberry stood out the most. However, the fluffy cream of salted vanilla, the taste of strawberry, and the red bean paste matched perfectly! It was delicious, so I would like to try different flavors again.

On the way back from Hakata Station, I was drawn to a big sign of this shop and decided to buy a "Dorakingu Nama" dorayaki with amaou strawberries. It cost 430 yen including tax, a bit pricey for its size, but when you're traveling, you tend to loosen your wallet, right? I enjoyed it on the Shinkansen with a cup of coffee. The red bean paste had just the right sweetness, the amaou strawberries were rich in sweetness, and the cream balanced everything perfectly, making it very delicious. You could taste the sweetness and acidity of the strawberries, truly savoring the potential of amaou strawberries in this sweet treat. It's no wonder it's so popular. It was a satisfying snack time. Thank you for the meal.
