In January 2022, after visiting two ramen shops and returning to the hotel near Abeno Harukas in Osaka, I bought some Meiji "Carl (Cheese Flavor)" snacks that are no longer sold in the Tohoku region at a nearby supermarket. For dinner, I decided to visit "Teppanyaki Oribe" after making a reservation in advance. Although I initially planned to dine alone, I had to consider my son, so my options were limited. The restaurant was selected as a 2022 Bib Gourmand for Teppanyaki. Here is what I ordered: - Appetizer Plate (550 yen) - Potato Salad (480 yen) - Assorted Appetizers (1,800 yen) - Onion Quiche (500 yen) - Cabbage Steak Gorgonzola Oribe Style (770 yen) - Black Wagyu (A5) Ribeye Steak/100g (3,960 yen) - Wagyu Beef Tendon and Green Onion Garlic Rice (1,100 yen) - Wagyu Beef Tendon and Green Onion Grill (1,540 yen) - Creme Brulee (880 yen) - Apple Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream (550 yen) I started with a craft beer called Voyager Brewing Gold from Wakayama and later switched to red wine. The potato salad was surprisingly delicious, with a creamy and flavorful taste. The appetizer plate was well-paired with wine. The onion quiche was very creamy, and the cabbage steak Gorgonzola Oribe style was a unique and creative dish. The black Wagyu ribeye steak was incredibly delicious, and the Wagyu beef tendon and green onion garlic rice had a unique sweet flavor that complemented the dish well. The Wagyu beef tendon and green onion grill, however, had a chewy texture that made it a bit difficult to eat. Finally, I enjoyed the dessert before leaving the restaurant. The chef worked efficiently and skillfully, and the overall experience was excellent. It was the right choice to dine at this restaurant, and I reminded my son that it was a rare opportunity to have such high-quality steak.

I visited this restaurant after seeing good reviews, and I was impressed by the delicious menu options. Everything I tried was really tasty. For my last dish, I ordered garlic rice with beef tendons, and even though I couldn't finish it, I was happy that they allowed me to take it home as a takeout. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The taste, atmosphere, and cost performance are all excellent! The timing of when the dishes are brought out is perfect, and the service is also pleasant. They even speak English! The food is delicious without saying. I will definitely come back. The pate for the appetizer is so delicious that I can eat as many as I want. The meat is also incredibly tasty... I recommend the okonomiyaki, but the shrimp with tartar sauce was my favorite! It's so plump and juicy!

This is a Michelin-starred restaurant in Yotsubashi, a "Teppanyaki Bistro"! What's with the Bib Gourmand, right? The dishes here offer a satisfaction beyond their price. The chef, Hirotaka Uzuki, combines "seasonal ingredients" and "French techniques" with teppanyaki style, which is popular. The specialty is the "Cabbage Steak"! It is a dish with a crispy sear, topped with Gorgonzola cheese and white miso sauce. To finish, they also offer the Osaka classics - okonomiyaki and yakisoba. It's a popular restaurant, but with a reservation, I was able to visit and enjoy a satisfying meal. The chef and his mother, perhaps, run the place, with the chef handling the cooking and the mother taking care of orders and the dining area. The food was undeniably delicious! The variety of seafood, vegetables, meat, and flour dishes in teppanyaki style offers a fun selection. On this day, I had a fulfilling meal with choices like the appetizer, Kaga lotus root, various vegetable pickles, Tasmanian smoked salmon salad, Cabbage Steak with Gorgonzola cheese, and Hokkai scallops, firefly squid, and fuki mountain vegetables. The Cabbage Steak was particularly outstanding, with a perfect balance of rich Gorgonzola and cabbage. It was delicious and satisfying. The generous serving of sliced French bread in a basket was a nice touch. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience with great food and service.

Tonight, I went to Oribe in Shinmachi. We sat at a table and had a great time. We ordered pickles, smoked salmon, lotus root, whole cabbage with gorgonzola (Michelin featured), firefly squid, garlic rice, mixed okonomiyaki, and seafood yakisoba. The whole cabbage with gorgonzola is perfect for cheese lovers. The okonomiyaki was soft and delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

After a long time, I ate teppanyaki because I was hungry and I ordered too much of one dish, which had a decent volume so I should have chosen more carefully, haha. Well, you could also say that it was delicious... When my stomach was full and I looked at the menu again, there were still tempting dishes available. It's run by a couple and the atmosphere is nice. The service timing is good too. On the way back, I ordered a few more dishes to enjoy with drinks, a place where you can enjoy your meal.

Teppanyaki Oribe 1-6-18 Shimmachi, Nishi-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Operating hours: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM 5 minutes walk from Yotsubashi Station Bistro and teppanyaki dishes featured in Michelin Bib Gourmand. This time, I chose a la carte menu. The shirako was delicious. I love dipping my favorite prawns in tartar sauce. The black wagyu steak was incredibly tender and just to my liking. Finished off with okonomiyaki. There were so many menu options to choose from, it was hard to decide. Every dish was delicious and the atmosphere was great, so I would love to go back again.

Dinner time at Teppanyaki Oribe in Shinmachi. We made a reservation as it's a popular spot. We were seated at the counter. The restaurant mainly has counter seats, with one table for four people. We were served red pork rillettes as a starter. It's like a paste spread on crispy baguette. Goes well with white wine. For dishes, we had a plate of grilled vegetables, highlighting the natural sweetness of the veggies with perfect seasoning. Then, we enjoyed scallops, foie gras, and aged potato crepe with French truffle sauce. The rich foie gras danced in our mouths with the red wine. The 150g wagyu steak cooked on the teppan was delicious and tender. And the Shinshu pork okonomiyaki was fluffy and made with lots of cabbage, a refined taste that paired well with wine. We ordered from appetizers to main dishes, slowly enjoying the meal with wine. It was a delightful and delicious experience. Thank you for the feast.

This is a cozy restaurant near Yotsubashi Station in Osaka Metro. I made a reservation a few days ago and visited for the third time on a holiday night. The entrance is adorned with lush plants, leading to a stylish interior with a 4-person table and a L-shaped counter with 10 seats. On this day, they reduced the seating to 4 seats at the counter for 2 groups. We ordered Ume Shochu Soda for 830 yen, KURO Oolong Tea for 500 yen, and enjoyed the complimentary appetizers: Red Pork Rillettes, Purple Cabbage Pickles, and a salad with New Zealand smoked salmon, La France pears, and persimmons for 1550 yen. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. We also had Cabbage Steak with Gorgonzola Cheese Oribe-style for 770 yen, and the daily special White Fish Teppanyaki for 1980 yen, which was served with butter sauce or ponzu. Finally, we tried the Shinshu Pork Okonomiyaki for 1000 yen. The portions were generous, prices reasonable, and the dishes were visually stunning. Overall, the total bill for two people was 7730 yen, and we highly recommend this restaurant. Their style is to order a few dishes and finish with okonomiyaki, so be sure to follow this approach when dining there.

After finishing my business trip in Osaka, I had a relaxing dinner. I walked two blocks north from Yotsubashi Station and turned left, where the restaurant was located on the left side. I made a reservation over the phone about a week ago for a weekday evening at 6:00 pm. The teppanyaki restaurant's menu was so intriguing, just looking at it made me imagine various delicious dishes. We started with a cold appetizer, "Lobster Consommé Jelly with Corn", which was seasoned with corn, complementing the sweetness of the lobster perfectly. It was a delightful surprise from the first bite. We also ordered the "Assorted Grilled Vegetables with 6 Varieties", as we wanted to enjoy some grilled veggies. The abundant use of summer vegetables highlighted their natural sweetness, showcasing the chef's skillful techniques. My companion insisted on trying the original menu item, "Cabbage Steak with Gorgonzola Cheese Oribe Style". I was curious about what a cabbage steak would be like, and it turned out to be amazing. The rich flavor of gorgonzola cheese paired with the crispy texture of cabbage created a deep and satisfying combination. For the finale, we had to have okonomiyaki. We opted for the classic "Shinshu Pork Okonomiyaki", which was delicious. It's a common practice in Osaka teppanyaki restaurants to serve okonomiyaki as the last dish, and this place did not disappoint. Despite already feeling full, we made sure to leave room for the okonomiyaki, and it was definitely the right decision. The okonomiyaki was hearty and one of the best I've had in Osaka. Due to the state of emergency, alcohol service was not available, but the total bill came to a very reasonable 7,820 yen. Considering that it would have been around 12,000 yen with alcohol, this was quite a good deal. The prices were in line with Osaka's reputation, and overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

I tried to explore new places, but I couldn't forget the incredibly delicious okonomiyaki I had last time, so I ended up coming back again. The number of customers seemed to have decreased, maybe because of the coronavirus, and the ingredients in the okonomiyaki were a bit smaller. However, the taste was still delicious, with a crispy outside and a fluffy inside. It was amazing. The homemade sausages and desserts were also extremely tasty. There are hardly any menu items that are disappointing. I hope this restaurant can survive and thrive despite the challenges posed by the coronavirus.

Today I visited "Teppanyaki Oribe" restaurant. I had heard it was a teppanyaki restaurant, but the menu was completely different from what I had expected. The lineup of delicious dishes was impressive. I ordered a dish that caught my eye and waited for the food. First, they served a pate as a complimentary appetizer. I had originally ordered a highball, but ended up changing it to wine. I thoroughly enjoyed the Western dishes before finally reaching the okonomiyaki. The okonomiyaki was fluffy, creamy, and the sauce was slightly spicy with a touch of nori seaweed and mayonnaise, topped with bonito flakes. Everything matched perfectly and was very delicious. From start to finish, everything was delicious, and I had a happy and satisfying time. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation for 6:00 PM due to the 8:00 PM closing time during the COVID-19 pandemic, and visited Oribe, a teppanyaki restaurant. The menu was filled with mouth-watering dishes such as seasonal vegetables, French cuisine, and more. We couldn't use table seats due to infection prevention measures, but the food was delicious and the customers were satisfied. The okonomiyaki was a must-try, fluffy and delicious without any unpleasant flavors. It felt more like a high-end French dish with the complexity of flavors. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

In Osaka, as an outsider, I first selected okonomiyaki. Then I ordered a balance of meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. It took a little time for the food to be served, but when it came out, the taste was amazing. The high-quality meat with mustard was so delicious. The thick and hearty okonomiyaki was filled with a lot of ingredients. I didn't know okonomiyaki could be this delicious! Since the food was shockingly delicious, I was sure the dessert would be great too. We shared creme brulee, rich chocolate cake, and ice cream. Even though it wasn't a high-end restaurant, everything was incredibly delicious. It was a high-level restaurant, so I highly recommend it.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to all those working hard to prevent the spread of the virus, including healthcare professionals. Even after the lifting of the state of emergency, things may not return to how they were before the coronavirus, but more and more restaurants are reopening while implementing infection prevention measures. Oribe, a teppanyaki restaurant, is now open for dining in. This time, we ordered okonomiyaki and yakisoba for takeout! It feels like a great deal to be able to enjoy dishes made with quality ingredients at home. I look forward to trying their teppanyaki French dishes in the restaurant next time!

I have visited this restaurant multiple times. It is a very friendly and stylish place. Of course, the food is wonderful, so you can't go wrong. This was my first time visiting this restaurant!! I had wanted to go for a while, and I really liked the spacious counter seating. They pay attention to the vegetables, and the grilled vegetables were very delicious! Also, the sautéed scallops, butter sautéed oysters, and fried foods were all tasty - I wanted to eat more but I was full!! I want to go again soon!

We enjoyed another delicious meal at Oribe with two people. We had the following dishes: - Assorted grilled vegetables (6 varieties): 1,430 yen Always a favorite, we looked forward to seeing which 6 types of vegetables would be served. The vegetables were cooked perfectly to bring out their natural flavors. They were delicious on their own, but the dips were also amazing. This time, we had sweet potatoes and kabura. - Grilled natural sea bream on a hot plate: 1,800 yen We chose the "tomato and olive" sauce from the two options. The French-inspired sauce had a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. It was quite filling, with white fish sauté, clams, and plenty of vegetables. It was a surprising dish in terms of quality and quantity for the price. - Pork and egg dish: 1,000 yen This was the most delicious pork and egg dish I've ever had. - White bottle wine: 7,700 yen Although I didn't like it on its own, it paired well with the food. The total bill, including a complimentary pâté (550 yen), came to just over 13,000 yen with no service charge. The bill seemed too reasonable considering the satisfaction and fullness we experienced. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived around 7 pm on a weekday, but it quickly filled up to about 70%. Despite that, the dishes were served promptly, and we were able to finish our meal in about 1.5 hours.

This was our first visit to the restaurant with my family of four. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including potato salad, salmon carpaccio, salad, grilled vegetables, cabbage and cheese dish, steak, sobameshi, and ice cream and pudding for dessert. Among them, the cabbage and cheese dish is highly recommended. It is really delicious and suitable for everyone, even for those who are not fond of cheese like my siblings. We would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

Once again, we enjoyed a delightful à la carte meal at Orive with two people. ・Assorted grilled vegetables: 1,430 yen. Includes lotus root, red turnip, and more. Each vegetable was perfectly cooked to bring out its deep flavor, served with delicious dips. ・Today's fresh fish teppanyaki: 1,700 yen. A generous portion of sea bream and shirako, served with a choice of ponzu or butter sauce. We opted for the latter and enjoyed the chef's French-style sauce. The accompanying vegetables were also delicious. ・Homemade jumbo sausage: 1,000 yen. A hot and juicy sausage with a perfect blend of herbs. ・Wagyu beef tendon and green onion grill: 1,540 yen. The high-quality tendon was beautifully stewed, and the green onions were exceptionally tasty, making it the best we've had. ・White bottle wine: 7,000 yen. We chose the most expensive Aligote from the recommended selection of 4 wines priced from 3,500 yen. It was delicious on its own and paired perfectly with the dishes. The total bill, including a starter of rillettes (550 yen), came to just under 14,000 yen with no service charge or tax added. In a time when more and more restaurants are excluding service charge and adding tax separately, this place is truly a gem. We were the first customers at 6:30 pm on a weekday. The dishes were served promptly, and we finished our meal in about 1.5 hours.
