I wanted to eat pancakes after a long time, so I went to Hawaiian Pancake Factory at LINKS UMEDA. The weekday lunch menu ranges from 1,080 yen to 5 options. You can choose from meal-type pancakes or curry, and drinks are free refills with all-you-can-eat pancakes for 60 minutes. The restaurant is located on the 8th floor of LINKS UMEDA, and you can easily spot it with the pancake menu photos and samples at the entrance. The interior has a relaxed Hawaiian vibe with plenty of table seating to choose from. They offer self-service detox water in two flavors: lemon & mint, and orange & dragon, along with regular water. The cute tropical atmosphere goes well with the food. Weekday lunch is from 11:00 to L.O. 14:00 (Please check with the restaurant for the latest information on business hours).

I was interested in the Tandoori Chicken, but this time I chose the Egg Benedict. The regular price for Egg Benedict is 1,400 yen, and the all-you-can-eat pancakes cost an additional 350 yen, making the weekday lunch a great deal! You can order the all-you-can-eat pancakes along with your lunch order. I ordered a drink and waited for about 15 minutes for it to arrive, along with the Egg Benedict and all-you-can-eat pancakes.
Egg Benedict:
The Egg Benedict comes with two generous servings of Hollandaise sauce, one with smoked salmon and the other with bacon. The pancakes serve as the base, with two layers each with smoked salmon or bacon, topped with spinach, poached egg, and a creamy Hollandaise sauce. The runny egg yolk blends well with the rich and creamy Hollandaise sauce, complementing the saltiness of the bacon and salmon. The bacon was seasoned well with salt and pepper, and there were two folded pieces, providing a satisfying portion. The pancakes were moist, fluffy, and slightly thin, with a surprisingly good texture. They are not too sweet, making them a perfect match with the soft-boiled egg, salmon, and Hollandaise sauce. The salad consisted of crispy lettuce with a flavorful Cobb dressing.
Pancakes (60 minutes all-you-can-eat):
I ordered the plain pancakes, which were not too big and easy to eat. They were topped with powdered sugar, and three types of syrups were provided at each table. The freshly baked pancakes were delicious! They were moist, fluffy, and soft. They were different from the thick soufflé pancakes, with a simple and nostalgic sweetness. The warmth and gentle sweetness were comforting. The excitement of having three different syrups was enjoyable. The classic maple syrup, rich and thick honey, and the tropical mango & orange sauce were all available for unlimited topping. My favorite was the fragrant maple syrup, and the thick honey paired perfectly with the pancakes. The mango & orange syrup, which I tried for the first time, reminded me of the orange-flavored throat syrup I had as a child, so I wasn't a big fan of it. In the end, I had three plates, totaling six pancakes, but with the four pancakes in the Egg Benedict, I ended up eating a total of 10 pancakes, which was a bit too much.
