This is a seafood izakaya that also serves lunch! I came around 12:30 on a weekday to have lunch. The restaurant was not crowded, so I was seated right away. The seafood bowl seemed popular, but I ordered my favorite dish, the fried horse mackerel set meal. A small dish, similar to an izakaya appetizer, was served. The marinated fish was delicious. The fried horse mackerel set meal arrived. The size of the horse mackerel was good. It came with tartar sauce and regular sauce. The taste of the horse mackerel reminded me of grilled horse mackerel. The rice and miso soup were average.

Even though I went to the izakaya at a random time during the day, they automatically made my order into a set meal with sashimi, rice, and miso soup. Although there was no explanation of the fish, I'm not exactly sure, but there was red snapper, salmon, tuna tataki, bonito tataki, amberjack, striped jack, and one more that I couldn't identify. It was quite luxurious for 1800 yen, so I think it's worth a visit.

I visited a store in Yanagibashi Union Market recommended by the owner of the spicy cod roe shop. I went there during lunchtime and had the Special Seafood Bowl in a small size. It came with miso soup, simmered shellfish, salad, and pickles, all for a reasonable price of 1,230 yen. The small size had enough volume, with a variety of delicious seafood. The sashimi assortment looked appetizing, so I definitely want to visit for dinner next time.

At Yanaibashi Rengo Market, there is a seafood bowl and seafood izakaya where you can also drink during the day, so some people enjoy drinking and eating seafood from lunchtime. The Norwegian salmon bowl (half size 880 yen) comes with 5 slices of salmon, plenty of flying fish roe, and about 300g of rice, so it's quite a decent portion. A friend ordered the special seafood bowl in a large size and found it to be quite voluminous, almost too much to handle, so be cautious when ordering. It seems that the opening hours have changed to starting at 12 o'clock, so please be aware of that!

I usually stay in Tenjin, but the restaurants I wanted to visit this time were mostly in Haruyoshi and Watanabe-dori area! I came back from Nanzoin and went for lunch. [℉/CONCEPT] Located inside Yanagibashi Rengou Ichiba, "Nagahama Uoichiba" is a seafood restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seafood directly delivered. The renovated interior in May 2022 is stylish, with table seats where you can leisurely enjoy your meal and also counter seats, making it easy for solo diners to use! Alcohol is also available from daytime, which is a plus. There were so many menu options that I had a hard time deciding, but since I had dinner plans later, I went for the salmon bowl! The thick, fatty salmon was generously served, and it went well with the tobikko. The side dish and miso soup were also delicious! Next time, I'll try the fried horse mackerel and the premium seafood bowl.

I'm working on a Saturday for a makeup shift, so I decided to check out F/CONCEPT, a place I've been curious about. I got off at Yakuin Station and headed to Yatai Ichiba, the kitchen of Fukuoka City. The restaurant is located just north of the market, with a more Western feel than I expected. The seating includes a counter and tables for two. I arrived at 11:25, and the place was about 40% full, with many tourists. Since I was alone, I sat at the counter facing the wall. I ordered the "Special Seafood Bowl (1,800 yen, tax included)." They served a small side dish and a mini salad first. The side dish was eggplant with minced meat. I couldn't help but think, "This makes me want a beer," as I ate. The person next to me also ordered a seafood bowl, but their side dish was different. The main seafood bowl and miso soup arrived in about 15 minutes. The bowl was filled with large pieces of fish, with salmon roe, flying fish roe, and medium fatty tuna in the center. It looked like it would go well with rice, and I regretted not getting the free extra rice. The rice was warm and the sashimi had a matured texture. There were also grilled ingredients like scallops, adding a delicious aroma. I wish they had provided descriptions of the fish types for a more satisfying experience. After finishing, I had to head back to work. By the time I left around 12, there was already a line forming. Thank you for the meal.

This is my first visit to the F/CONCEPT at Yanagibashi Rengou Market. They opened at 11 am, and I arrived around 15 minutes later. The place was quite busy with customers coming in and out, with some waiting by the time I left. There are both counter and table seating options, and the interior is dimly lit. The staff were efficient and provided good service. The menu had a wide variety of options. The set meals come with side dishes, salad, pickles, and miso soup, with free extra rice available. I noticed that many people were ordering the shrimp fry set meal or horse mackerel fry set meal. I decided to order the half size of the Special Seafood Bowl for 1280 yen. The Special Seafood Bowl is available in regular and half sizes. The side dishes, salad, and pickles were served first, and about 5 minutes later, the seafood bowl and miso soup arrived. The bowl was beautifully arranged with about 10 different types of toppings such as salmon roe, scallops, and shrimp. Each topping was large, fatty, firm, and had a tight texture. It was delicious. The side dish was eggplant with minced meat and a crunchy ingredient that I couldn't identify, but it was tasty. With the miso soup and salad included, I thought the half size was just right for women.

It's a great deal at 1800 yen. It seems like a fun place to enjoy drinks at night. I recommend both lunch and dinner here.

First visit. A great restaurant located in Yanagibashi Union Market. They are open for lunch, dinner, and late night, until around 3 am, and it seems like they focus more on drinks during this time. On this day, we went for lunch. I ordered the grilled mackerel set meal, and my companion ordered the seafood bowl. The grilled mackerel had a rich flavor and was delicious! I also tried a few bites of the seafood bowl, and the fish was fresh and tasty.

I visited after a long time. I was originally planning to go to a popular restaurant nearby with long lines, but I don't like waiting in line. So, I ended up coming here as expected. It's my first time here since the renovation. The counter is the same, but they moved the counter table that used to be in the middle to the wall side, so it feels a bit more spacious now. I always end up ordering the "Special Seafood Bowl" in the end. I can't resist the extra oysters, so I also ordered the Oyster Butter. I tried the Instagram limited menu at a seafood restaurant in Yanagibashi Union Market! - Red Shrimp Bowl (1600 yen): The bowl comes with 8 large red shrimps. The shrimps are thick and chewy, yet tender and melt in your mouth! This was the most delicious raw shrimp I've ever had. The flavor was so rich that you didn't even need to add soy sauce. Shrimp lovers will absolutely adore this dish! In addition to seafood bowls and set meals, you can also enjoy day drinking here, so the restaurant was bustling even during lunchtime! At my 7th visit to EF Concept in Yanagibashi Union Market, I realized I shouldn't drink anymore, but somehow ended up ordering sake. Scary. Sashimi set meal: It's a bliss to have fresh sashimi for breakfast. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The interior, with its exposed concrete walls, attracts people of all ages and backgrounds, including tourists and locals. The variety of drinks available is impressive. It's easy to overindulge in the tasty food and drinks at this favorite spot.

I sat at the counter facing the wall at this restaurant. They charged me 330 yen for a table charge, even though there was no appetizer served. I guess it was for the seating fee. I ordered a Black Label small (396 yen), a Highball (500 yen), a premium sashimi assortment (2,300 yen), and homemade potato salad (580 yen), totaling 4,106 yen. The atmosphere is stylish. I thought it would be cheap since it's close to the market, but the menu turned out to be expensive. The sashimi assortment included sea bream, amberjack, and mackerel with a great texture. I wish they would reduce the portion size and lower the prices, so it would be more affordable for solo diners. It might be a good place for groups to visit.

Today was Wednesday and the market was closed, but the shops were open! Since it's located inside the market, the fish was fresh and the fact that they are open all day is convenient! The interior of the shop is stylish with downlights, and it seems like it was renovated recently. The renovation work has been completed and the restaurant has finally opened! I ordered the Shanghai seafood bowl. It came with a main seafood bowl, three side dishes (Nanban-zuke, pickles, salad with sesame dressing), and delicious miso soup, all for a great value at 990 yen. The fresh fish on top was plentiful and the quality was top-notch. They open from 8 am, so you can enjoy it for breakfast, lunch, brunch, or dinner. The evening menu also looks delicious, so I would like to visit at night next time.

I ordered a sashimi platter without knowing anything, and ended up getting 14 different kinds! Even though I was dining alone, I only got 2 pieces of each, so I checked to see if it was a mistake, but it was correct. The freshness of the fish was great, and above all, the price was very reasonable so there was no problem. I just wanted to eat a lot of sashimi. Despite it being early in the evening, they were still open for business, but unfortunately they had run out of sesame mackerel (so sad). The music was loud and the atmosphere was lively. The service was quick and the timing was good, making it easy for me to dine alone. I'm interested in trying the Instagram-exclusive set meal next time. The female staff members were not very friendly, they just placed the appetizer without explaining and responded with a simple "here". It would have been nice if they had shown a smile, as it would have made me feel better. The male staff members were more friendly, but perhaps due to the recent renovation, they sometimes forgot to explain the dishes as the restaurant was quite busy.
